    moronic thread, but I'm bored.

A T-Rex is slightly bigger than an African elephant. So same principles should work. Since you want a diy approach probably any large bore muzzleloader should do the job. If I had to hunt a T-Rex this way I would either shoot from a place where it cannot reach me, or bring more armed people with me. Probably the second option is better, since you'll have strength in numbers.

Why are you asking this? Are you writing a moronic novel or smt?

You can build a 500fps airbow with YouTube tutorials and unrestricted parts. That's fast enough to submerge a n arrow with a broadhead entirely within a T-rex's body, deep enough to reach organs certainly, and bleed like a hose with the right head. If I didn't have a firearm I suppose that's what I'd want, though I'd probably want to be carrying two or three of them loaded.

That's why I said carry more than one loaded. Maybe employ a laborer to carry extras.

    >Lure them into a substation (zap zap zap)

    >Make a potato gun/carbide cannon and shoot golf balls at it from the back of a fleeing pickup truck

    >knock the neck off a cylinder in a tube and patent the "Giant Gyrojet"

    Need i go on?...
I lay in bed DREAMING of killing thunder lizards. God should've left me more bigass animals to kill.
    Movies I'd LOVE to see:
    >1900s Dino safari...turn of the century explorers fukin wailing on dinos "for science" (watched too much McClure as a kid)
    >Pokemon poaching....in a world where animal fighting is widely accepted, Why not hunt these dangerous bastards!?

Won't lie, always wondered about a line throwing slingshot and about a pound of soft plastic explosive with a delayed impact fuse.
Basically a large slingshot that is capable of shooting 1 pound throw weights with a trailing cord, 80 feet straight up. Combined with a HESH charge.
    >My boss almost lost his hand or head when someone offered to shoot a tangerine up to him in a tree. I think that could get decent enough squashing of the HE onto the T Rex to punch a nasty crater.

      Well, that's because you're moronic.
