>let's just strap a gun onto a robot that's not designed for shooting it
Absolute highschool-tier design, I really hope this wasn't made by some country's MIC.
that thing on full auto gets right only 2 out of 10 fired round,
the other thermal camera sniper can be done by regular human,
a 308 is gonna fricking destroy that thing
>Why? It can go anywhere and can deal with the recoil.
It clearly can't deal with the recoil. By strapping a normal rifle to the robot, the recoil is "felt" far above the center of gravity.
it's a moronic australian who wants to be edgy political commentary while still willing to shill everything he's opposed to for views. He should be permanently banned from the US after this. Him and brandon will both kill themselves from homemade "not pipe bombs."
>cant handle the banter
Dw seppo he is taking the piss but that doesn't mean we don't like you. The duality of guns being awesome and guns being deadly weapons that are unnecessary and dangerous for random people to own can only be properly depicted through side-eyed humour anyway.
>very cheap, light and plentiful ammo compared to the alternative (pic related, the loitering munition the army uses) >can shoot into buildings, windows, places you cant see from directly above
and you aim it the same as you aim it while on foot, its accurate enough at the ranges its used at and the projective gets to the enemy fast which is a massive advantage since theyre gonna hear your multirotor and run for cover
Whats the fricking point of that thing when we have predator drones that successfully launch missiles on targets that dont expect it? Air superiority all the way.
There's better ways to do that.
But watching the vid they were just memeing about.
Still, mounting it upside down or side ways would have been superior.

Absolute highschool-tier design, I really hope this wasn't made by some country's MIC.
it was made by 10 guys in a garage
that thing on full auto gets right only 2 out of 10 fired round,
the other thermal camera sniper can be done by regular human,
a 308 is gonna fricking destroy that thing
Bet it could fire a 308 and it would be fine given sufficient delay in recoil over time
Bet
So use a smaller caliber.
>American-180 is a dual mount
Yes please.
Why? It can go anywhere and can deal with the recoil.

How much do you think one of these robots weighs? Curious.
The one in OP weighs 12kg
Why no link?
>Brandon lives near the Ulvade shooting and he thinks more guns is good
Too political, I just wanna see the technology
>technology
homie it's a comedy video

Is that a pitbull?
they should mount the gun sideways to give it a lower profile
or just put the actual gun part inside the body
i assumed theyd want to keep the weapon external for repairs and such
Or use a sten gun
I'll show that mother fricker for kicking me.
thats a really shit drone design
It'd be probably better with a grenade laundry attachment.
they put those on multirotors
Why the frick would you put an M203 on a drone? You have no way of aiming it accurately and it has to be reloaded after each shot.

Still gotta reload after only one shot.
same with a regular 40mm or most of those drones that drop a bomb
multibarrel 40mm is an option but probably heavy

COMING SOON TO A BATTLEFIELD NEAR YOU
war never changes
Literally was waiting for autonomous EOD killbots, I've been surprised they don't exist for a while now.
No it ain't.
There's better ways to do that.
But watching the vid they were just memeing about.
