Not sure what you mean. When POW were captured at all at the front they were sent back to German rear lines where whatever second line unit was in charge of POWs dealt with them. This could be a Wehrmacht or SS or even other branch unit that had a certain book of rules to follow. The book was not the same from area to area though. Some places the prisoners were simply put into the camp to hunger to death. Other places they were put to hard work.
I'll go even further to say that every German who served in the SS should've been executed without trial by the war's end. Germany should've completely partitioned and the right to self-governance should have never been restored to Germans.
They were shocktroopers and not regular soldiers. It varied on the units since some like Dirlewanger's were mad dog units. Some of them were suppose to scare the shit out of the enemy and locals so that they would surrender quickly and get managed by the regular army.

Considering that the Heer was largely responsible for administering POW camps and that conditions in these camps were so appalling that 2 out of 3 Soviet prisoners were dead by the end of the war, I’d say the Waffen-SS weren’t particularly all that worse at least on the policy level. The SS were noticeably more prone to massacring POWs for sport in the West as early as 1940, but the numbers are honestly chump change compared to the Eastern Front where massacres of a larger scale were an almost daily occurrence.
On one hand, the SS displayed a penchant for both criminal behavior and criminal incompetence with great frequency.
On the other hand, you have quads and are calling for TZD and I honestly can’t argue with that.

What POW's?
Not sure what you mean. When POW were captured at all at the front they were sent back to German rear lines where whatever second line unit was in charge of POWs dealt with them. This could be a Wehrmacht or SS or even other branch unit that had a certain book of rules to follow. The book was not the same from area to area though. Some places the prisoners were simply put into the camp to hunger to death. Other places they were put to hard work.

They were shocktroopers and not regular soldiers. It varied on the units since some like Dirlewanger's were mad dog units. Some of them were suppose to scare the shit out of the enemy and locals so that they would surrender quickly and get managed by the regular army.
