Aliens
If you can bear a bit of 1980s/1990s network TV cheesyness I recommend the old Tour of Duty TV series. First seasons, 2nd season was kind of sabotaged by TV exec meddling wanting to appeal to the female audience, and 3rd season is ok because they stopped listening to those execs, killed off the female characters, dropped all the romance storylines, and went back to showing military life and examining issues soldiers faced in nam. Also last 2 seasons suffer aesthetically due to the production being forced to move from the Vietnam-like tropical locales of Hawaii to LA, where nothing looked like Vietnam
First seasons great*
Firm and honest, that's how reviews should be.
