Vids from UK drones successfully intercepted by the invaders.

I think it's interesting because we rarely get to see vids from failed attacks, it's safe to assume they are quite common.

Notice how they are obviously programmed to flip on disconnect, surely we wouldn't want them to return and disclose operator location, or fall into enemy hands.

I wonder if they explode on fall, to avoid falling into enemy hands.

It seems that they are attacked by russian EW which is sending conflicting commands.

They are fools. It's a valid polish/ukrainian source, he was just bored with free hosting problems so he bought his own.

Also they are internet illiterate. What are they thinking?

It's interesting to see the various ways these were knocked out, as some just static over and crash like dying in an indie horror game, whilst others just seem to seize up and tumble from the sky.

How many of these do you think were shot down compared with just being jammed?

            Anonymous

it seems to me they are all being jammed, than a script kicks in that orders them to flip over, maybe explode on impact, too

this is kind of a black eye for the UK. how could you let russia EW these drones on video?

what's it got to do with UK?

We'll be sending a load of military drones over to Ukraine as part of our next aid package, which includes UWU (Or USV if you want the boring acronym), a few large recon drones, a bunch of those cargo ones I believe and whatever we've cooked up in our sheds, as the government put out a competition to the whole country to try and come up with better drone designs we can produce ourselves instead of just taping hand-grenades and RPGs to DJI's.

It was announced a couple of weeks ago, so I'm not entirely sure if any of them have entered service yet.

ESL shills from certain parts of the world refer to ukraine as UK because they don't know any better

Awww its adorable seeing russia simps celebrate this like they just took over all of Ukraine

So you saw this before? I'm pretty sure all people with half the brains know that EW works and not all the attacks are successful.
It's interesting that UKies have the balls to upload stuff like that, unlike ziggers and their blatantly stupid success propaganda.

I doubt they're actually programmed to flip over like that.
Drones are also very unstable and require constant computer correction to work at all. If the signal very suddenly cuts out and you're doing anything other than just idly hovering then it's likely the props on one half of the drone were pushing harder than the props on the other side, so they'll just flip over.

Interesting footage, I assume they are just noise jamming because the hud indicates RX loss. It is curious that they aren't able to jam the video link, albeit then we wouldn't have a video of the event

It's possible that they don't want to jam the video feed. Commercial drones don't typically have encrypted feeds at all so the EW crew might be scanning channels looking for video broadcasts and then watching to see if they're successful.

you don't need turtle mode for an FPV to tumble on signal loss. they'll do it naturally. what you do need in this context is to prevent hover-on-jam and rtb-on-jam. hover and rtb are widely supported as defaults, in one form or another, but you never want either of these behaviors in single-serve FPVs.
