tbh the INSAS is actually okay, it's that the Indians refused to steel line the cheap polymer and glass filled nylon magazines they issued with it and, shockingly, soldiers kept breaking them or they would break in very cold or hot weather
a steel or aluminum magazine would've probably sorted out the vast majority of issues for the INSAS, now they're getting AK203's instead
