You're fricking moronic. No amount of posting will justify your dumb cumsoomer shit. You'll buy anything so long as the salesmen has a blurred face and wears solomans.

people have ALWAYS used high mounts on ARs. Ever since the first person mounted a scope on a carry handle. Low mounts were a dumb early 2000's fudd trend for pretending they were a leet sniper. Do you have a high powered scope and a bipod? No? Then a high mount is fine for you, homosexual.

But why not a carry handle mount like a normal person?

They're not ready yet. The next step is the ACOG/RMR combo coming back HARD. Only then are they ready for the nearly ~3" rise of a carry handle.

    >muh accuracy
brainlet. the issue with excessive height over bore is not accuracy. the problem is the absolutely moronic POI shifts at variable ranges. IE, zeroing at 100 yards but then needing to shoot something at 10 yards, it will be several inches off. Easily enough to miss a critical close up shot.

unity and other consoomer shit can be useful for gas masks and nods, but it's a trade-off with very significant downsides.

it literally doesn't though, you get hits on target, that's what matters you dumbass

hits on target at what range? dont you want to be able to engage at a wide variety of ranges without needing a fricking dope sheet to determine what your negative height offset is?

not him but lets find out just for fun. Unity riser height with BC/Velocity of a 77gr TMK out of a 14.5. For an 8 inch target there is 0 hold over/under needed out to 300 yards.
          >cqb hold overs!
will never be more than 3" starting at muzzle distance and decreasing out to 45

Ah yes, the tried and true 45/263 zero, how could i forget

              >calculating your own optimal zero distance for your particular setup instead of using 25/300 50/200 is bad because (?).
Works fine and does exactly what the calculator says it will.

The person you are talking to is so moronic that his retort to your criticism was
          >it don't doe
He probably thinks Adam Sandler moves are still funny

bro read up on shit any real engagement happens at less than 100 yards, at those ranges the only things that matter are fast target acquisition and the ability to land effective hits on target. You aren't gonna dial in your frickin dot to make sure you're gonna hit right between his ribs, just fire off more rounds until they stop moving.

Don't bother anon, they're clearly moronic. They probably don't even have nods, and they certainly don't shoot enough to realise they want a cheek weld if they can get it

I just put my ANPEQ a bit further back to keep it out of my optic FOV on my battle rifle. I don't use any crazy optics on my pea shooters. ANPEQ goes on the side of those. I'm not trying to hit things at +500m with those. But hey, whatever floats y'all's boats I guess. Also not going out past 300m with my NVG's and where the death dot us. It really all depends on what your are/aren't doing. Fight how you fight and you do you is my advice. But hey, whatevs man..

I mean, I've got an LPVO on a 1.5" riser, for about 2.5" low PoI until about 30-40y. It absolutely took some practice to sink in my up close hold overs if we were shooting T-boxes out at 15-25y that day.

I don't use a Unity because I'm too poor for night fighter shit, but surely it'a not any more difficult.

      >can be useful for gas masks and nods
I've qualified with both those using an absolute cowitness Aimpoint; this shit isn't even necessary for that. It's just instagays trying to use gear to overcome a skill issue.

Why would you want to? You sound moronic.

I have that stock and I attached the QD vertically. The problem is there is not enough clearance to put swivel horizantally. I can do it diagbally towards the upper left or upper right. What way should it be?
