And in doing so unleash either a horde of Nazi Zombies or accidently unleashing a cloud of Mustard Gas from an old, forgotten Austro-Hungarian stockpile if the current trend of the Russians unearthing ancient terrors keeps on going.
Honestly a week or two more and it will be dry enough.
Nobody would plan any attack or supply over unsettled, sometimes muddy and unchartered ground though. There are no roads or anything either.
An old island appeared in the Dnipro. According to wikimapia, this is an old flooded island called Tavan. There seems to be an old road visible. I think it might be slightly elevated due to the area being swampy, and therefore preserved (enough to be visible).
Russia blew the dam so they could redeploy troops. Yes Ukraine could theoretically use new islands to get across but they are too exposed so wont, but it also means russia now cant redeploy troops to other fronts.
The only change is that if russia redeploys troops from kherson then they are vunrable to a future thunder run, but no time soon.
Top pic is from June 20th bottom is June 5th btw, they should be in reverse order.
Yeah. Would take couple hot months to dry it solid.
or a bogstandard East European winter to freeze the ground sufficiently.
Six months is time enough for Russia to mine the area and dig trenches.
>digging trenches in wet, muddy sands
good luck

The remaining Beluga sturgeons that were disturbed from the dam’s collapse are hungry, and they want a taste of Russian blood.

Hohol BMP's have been confirmed to actually retain the ability to swim, so there's still hope for a moronic but fun raid
Don't get your hopes up in this region anon, an invasion across here would frankly be an unnecessarily risky move.
But there is more.

tatars had fortresses there back in 1600s iirc
I know i was the one who built it back in the day 🙂
Don't pretend to be long lived. You either are or are not and none of them were in this wilderness when this was built or with the Tartars
Are you implying that there are people who are long-lived enough to have built such a thing and still be alive?
the fools, they want to wake it up! the salt golem wasn't enough!
the only ground Russia has gained in months
Underrated
Changes nothing.

anyone got the pictures of all the cool stuff people foung in the mud? I imagine theres a lot of coin, weapons, skeletons and such
Nothing is in the mud because there is no such thing as Ukrainian history
I'm positive that Ukraine blew that dam, i would as well
I wish they hurry up and kick the Russians out so I can visit that new land before they rebuild the dam and fill it
