One shot from picrel and your $4000 operator gear is absolutely fricking worthless. Level 4 plates can't and won't save you from the shitstick. Name a more based firearm. Oh wait, you can't.

Wrong board
literally any other bolt action rifle from the same period down to and including the Ross
>Name a more based firearm.
Well that's easy. Kar98k
i think its neat! though i have been searching for something simmilar but more precise for hunting
But I actually do like the Mosin, even if it's bad in every way that matters
I like my k31 more than my nugget
it's kinda obvious why...
I'm glad you're enjoying your first gun, OP :^)
Imagine somebody paying modern prices for a Mosin, for it to be their first gun today
>tfw bought a nugget for $400 2 weeks ago
It came with 4 stripper clips and 200 rounds of 54r at least
260*
The ammo makes it a better deal, but that's still a lot. It was only a few years ago I got my Mosins for $150 Canadian dollars, which is like five bucks US.
I also paid 1200 for an AR during peak covid so I'm used to getting fricked in the ass
>1200 for an AR
Did the seller at least give you a reacharound while he was fricking you over?
No, they went in balls deep without any lube
M1 garand
arent they like $1000 now? might as well buy an ar10
>Level 4 plates can't and won't save you from the shitstick
Yes, they will. That's actually exactly and very specifically what they are designed and rated to stop.
Your worthless shitstick meme sucks ass. It sucked ass when it was made over a hundred years ago, and was out of date then. It has only gotten worse. It's not even cheap anymore. You're too poor to even afford one, that's why you have to post a fricking stock image of one.

Swedish Mauser. Can be had for the same price as a mosin nowadays, always in way better condition, ammo is available and about the same price yet much higher quality, guns are made to unbelievably high standards with autistic attention to detail not just in workmanship, and materials used, but acceptance marking every single inconsequential part of the gun and serializing them. Even the few guns actually made by Mauser in Germany were done with steel supplied by Sweden. How many people in all of history have walked into Obendorf, slung their wieners on the table, and said "Oh yeah we don't want any of that inferior low quality German steel, use ours instead." Fricking nobody, that's who.
It has a useable fricking safety, a barrel that hasn't had a century and some change of corrosive bullshit and conscript urine put through it, an action that isn't pants on head moronic, generally good triggers, and if you don't want a 6' long shitstick the Swedes figured out a carbine achieves perfectly suitable velocity with a barrel under 20 fricking inches all the way back in 1894, something the rest of the world would take more than a century yet to realize.
I agree on all points except length, because a longer rifle means you can pole people from farther away
if you aren't a Russian conscript that's a non-issue because you'll be shooting them instead.
Idk man, something about stabbing a man from 5 feet away just does scratches that itch
