Not that anon, but you used to see a lot of PTRs that people would try and kludge into some kind of modern tactical rifle. You still see it occasionally, although it was a lot more common 10+ years ago; I was guilty of it too, but now that I have a modern rifle, I would rather just appreciate the old cold war rifles as they were, and not try to tacticool them out.

I'm guilty of this, I'm waiting on a Spuhr furniture set and I'll mount an aimpoint T2 on Unity riser and a Arisaka with KM2 and Holosun IR laser to make a PTR91 night fighting battle rifle to go along with my night fighting 20" ar15. When my 30 cal comes in I'll change the locking piece for the #17 and keep a K can on the 18" barrel because I can.

That furniture really isnt worth it. Unless its a lot cheaper than it was. I got it back when there was only 1 place in the US that sold it. Was kinda cool, but felt off. Kinda like putting a new engine, electronics and drivetrain in an old car. Sure its cool, but the chassis isnt up to the challenge.

I really just want a stock that jives with an elevated riser for use with a pvs14 and a handguard that can maintain zero for an IR laser. There really isn't any other solutions that let you do what I want with the PTR. >Why do you want to do this with the PTR91 in the first place?!
