Yukons are the worst possible vehicle choice, especially for this application

The GM full sized SUVs have over 70% market share. Of course you see nothing but Yukons, Suburbans, and Tahoes in the shop in this segment.

The competing vehicles aren’t actually better, you’re just bad at statistics.

Idjit. Disable the cucked 4 cylinder fuel saver option and they are bombproof.

When I was on a a fed PSD there was rumor USSS had one for the POTUS motorcade, this is going back to GWB days.

I really doubt it. too high a risk for collateral damage in the ORM.

Collateral damage is not that important when you are protecting pedophile in chief.
We would be surprised if it ever came out what weapon systems are tagging along the motorcade just in case

Correct. Totally different mission than LE taking out a suspect.

You forget that they're protecting pedophiles. It doesn't matter how many civilians they kill

I think there was one in Trump's motorcade in NYC the other day, you could see in the helicopter shots that the lead vehicle had an unusual roof hatch that was consistent with the placement of these systems.

Why would you pick a Yukon?
It's like the worst compromise between a Suburban and an Escalade.

Usually with cases like this, it's one client with a shit ton of money coming in and requesting it, then they decide to scale it and offer it to more people on that specific vehicle. They actually do offer it on a suburban as well, and you can make a special request for another vehicle if you have the money. But that's why it's just the yukon and suburban. Super rich client gave them the funds to make it happen, the company doesn't necessarily have the funds to r&d it on any other cars willy nilly. They need a client

    Wouldn't a M2HB be more practical?

Volume of fire is probably seen as a good thing for this application. Think handful of pedestrians with rpgs or satchel charges. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they found similar armor penetration between an M134 and M2 considering rate of fire. That's something that would be cool to test in a vidya.

It's entirely likely that if someone were to attack the motorcade that the training is to just kill everyone to be sure and blame it on the terrorists later.
