Wheeled, hands down. I've had enough time in tracked to not find it novel any more and frick maintaining them.
If I had to actually fight in it, it'd depend on the specific examples.
But more importantly, what is up with that file name, OP?
>If I had to actually fight in it
This is the difference right there.
Wheeled is better at almost everything in peace when they're not shooting at you.
i used to make some sick rushes with the ASLAVs and LAV25s in wargame, those things can go anywhere very fast and mangle all the soft vehicles at the rear like logis, artillery and SAMs, on top of being great at ambushing IFVs and helicopters traveling to the frontline.
so im going with wheeled.
If you have a hard combat manpower limit, the 2. Otherwise the three.
Wheel. Tracked can be better in certain situation but the logistical drag isnt worth it. Loosing a track is a mobility kill, loosing half your wheel isnt.
This. So much this. and NATO spec 120mm cannon is good enough with the right ammo to be light artillery.
If it's a "you somehow snuck past the pearly gates and there's a whole armored vehicle inventory and playground just for you" kind of situation I'm going to pick something tracked first just because I've only ever driven shit with wheels.
The idea of Boxer will always exceed the reality of Boxer given the German involvement. Which vehicle did they have to delay to ensure the air filtration system could accommodate pregnant women?
Wheel. Tracked can be better in certain situation but the logistical drag isnt worth it. Loosing a track is a mobility kill, loosing half your wheel isnt.
Wheels have made tracks obsolete so wheels. Wheels are effortless to maintain, last many more miles than tracks, and as we see in Ukraine only wheeled tractors can operate in mud. Track ride quality a shit and working on track is dirty vs. clean tire changes.

>rice fields which isn't mud and well maintained asphalt road throughout mountainous shithole that is North Korea
Sure bud
looking at what happened in ukraine last year tracked vehicles would do just as bad in thick mud
They serve two different roles.
Boxer looks really good with the Kongsberg remote unit.
Its called protector
The better question you should ask is, which would you take: 3 wheeled IFVs, or 2 tracked IFVs?
cause that's the (very) approximate difference in support requirements between the two
If you have a hard combat manpower limit, the 2. Otherwise the three.

Why is the file name for the OP about Cammy White and Street Fighter
Wheeled on one side, tracked on the other, best of both worlds. Simple as
that's the worst of both worlds..
Kettenkrad
>the_cammy_white_street_fighter_and_3_more_drawn_by_hershuar
Wheels are better unless you need the tracked off-road which is either extreme off-road or for heavy armored vehicles with bad power to weight ratio
was that a real thing?
was developed into prototype stage, they came up with the sdkfz 251 instead
Which was somehow almost as cursed
this looks like the most moronic quintessential German shit I've ever seen.
If it's a "you somehow snuck past the pearly gates and there's a whole armored vehicle inventory and playground just for you" kind of situation I'm going to pick something tracked first just because I've only ever driven shit with wheels.
depends on mission and terrain.
both
Ah, is this the regular Boxer thread?
I don't know about the 120mm turret, but I was surprised to read that Tracked Boxer's hull was actually smaller than both Redback's and Lynx's
Wheels are pretty but there are some pretty pretty tracks, too.
The idea of Boxer will always exceed the reality of Boxer given the German involvement. Which vehicle did they have to delay to ensure the air filtration system could accommodate pregnant women?
>German involvement
it's a German vehicle with minor foreign involvement
Big guns on wheels are very aesthetic

>Given a choice, which do you want to play with?
Depends on the terrain, but I do prefer tracks.
>t. former M113 and LAV crewman.
i heard wheels are also more resistant to AT mines.
if the track snaps you are immobilized but wheeld can get out missing one or even two wheels.
those tires can't be conventional tires i'm thinking of right?
they must be solid inside or otherwise tubeless

lol; tracks superior
>no one posted the webm
In a wartime situation that ARV would be carrying a spare power pack.
Fast and furious 28: Virginia wheeled vs Chad tracked.
