I've had a recce 16 lw for a few years now and really like it. It's never had any malfunctions and it's far more accurate than I am. I have a binary trigger that I toss in it occasionally and even fully semi-auto, there have been no issues. Price was around $1300 when I bought it, no idea what they go for now. At the time, a similar DD rifle was over $2,000, if I remember correctly.

I got a BCM 16" mlok upper and a BCM 20" keymod upper(was before mlok was cool) with a few thousand rounds through each. They're absolutely fine. Both have perfect 3 o'clock ejection patterns, they are gassed just right with no tuning at all.
Only real mod I've done to either upper is removing the BCM comp that came on the 16" one because I prefer an A2 flash hider over a comp on 5.56 guns.

DD is probably a better option at that price point and I own both BCM and DD uppers.
It's like twice the price. I paid $510 for my FSP BCM upper+189 BCG+$60 CH = $760. The cheapest on DD is $1100, albeit it comes with rail but no sight
