One day I'm gonna learn how to hunt and dress meat. Then I'm gonna build a cabin in the woods all primitive technology style, prolly squat in eastern Oregon. I'm going to be self sufficient and go fully /offgrid/. I can't drive so I don't even need a car to get there. I'll just live out of my cabin forever, study herbology and botany, forage a bit, and practice my bushcraft.
>i've never been to eastern oregon in my life
you should totally do this, particularly up by Enterprise. it's pretty mild and temperate there in the winter, so it's okay for you to bring your CA wardrobe.
Save weight/space and pack for mid 50's weather year round. Also the locals really, really appreciate forward thinking, culturally diverse people. they might look like sensible, flannel wearing ranchers, but they are just dying to hear your thoughts on the benefits of mass immigration and how much it helps the local dining options -- so be sure to tell them how you're an ally for latinx immigrants. Most of all though, let everyone know you are from california; you'd be amazed at how welcoming they are!
A friend. I don't really wanna go by myself. I wouldn't do anything dangerous or sketchy, but I don't think I'd enjoy it. I also don't think I'd enjoy going with a stranger, I think I'd be too nervous the whole time. I have some gear and I'd like to try some of it.
Yea, basically. I feel like I'd want at least 2 friends so it wouldn't be too awkward.
There's good skiing near me, but everyone I know already knows how to ski and doesn't want to spend time teaching someone else, which is understandable I suppose. Not sure what I should do instead.

I have intense arachnophobia and a heart condition. I only go outside after it dips below 20 F for a couple days and warms up enough to go outside comfortably. Once spring hits I seclude myself again.
Move somewhere with harsh winters maybe? As someone who loathes spiders I sympathize but I don’t really have any better advice because if you go PrepHole enough times you will inevitably come across one of those eight-legged Black folk.
That wasn't really my experience of England which I visited recently, but ok. You're exaggerating. There may not be trackless wilderness like in the US or Canada, but there's plenty of green space and beautiful outdoor spaces.
Do other British people feel the same way as you? I thought it was a nation of people who love the outdoors and love to wander (ramble) and love nature and gardens and shit.
The guy that said England is someone else. I'm from a small country near India in south asia. It's an industrial overpopulated hell. Only once chance at life...
>Posting on PrepHole >Never go outside >Can't stand being out of doors, major agoraphobia >Just sit at home playing video games and watching movies and fantasizing about the PrepHoledoor lifestyle without ever going outside >Literally order groceries and food
How comfy.
I don't live in a place where I can go PrepHole. I've never even seen any of the basic nature fixtures people report and I am incapable of ever seeing it unless I drive cross country. I have no friends or anyone who can teach me stuff or just go with me. Everyone I know is a bug person who doesn't see the point in this stuff
Waiting for the weather to be a bit better to try out new things I read about. Going camping with mates end of the month though! (Not really out as we’re camping in some farmland with a toilet and such nearby)
I can only PrepHole alone cause I can't convince people to come with. I am deeply scared of running into other people cause I naturally don't trust people especially in an isolated environment with no witnesses around. I absolutely need to be packing heat when I go outdoors.

Where are you from?
I'm the ski guy. I'm from Western WA
I'm
VA/PA border
Sorry typo, WV
can you see the milky way with naked eyes ?
Not quite like that but yes it becomes quite visible once you're out in the sticks

There's no nature in my country
What country is that?
Englandistan

Sure. Camping inna city park is PrepHole too.

Sri Lanka? Maldives?
Those places are somewhat tolerable, in my opinion. Bangladesh. You would have a nice day if you were born here
Don't they have the Sundarbans not to mention mountains and shit further inland?
Move to Canada or Australia. They're both cuck states but at least you can go PrepHole there.

England.
It's not fair

>money for survival and gear
>fear of locals and their weird looks
that's it mostly
