This wardrobe door just like detached itself. Anyone know how I can glue it back or some shit? I'm not really good with this stuff.

just, like, glue it back or some shit.
What’s in the safe?
I SAID WHAT’S IN THE SAFE
>WHAT’S IN THE SAFE
obviously a barracks or school
so obviously a firearm
am cabinet guy
unscrew the door so it's just the vertical stick
buy wood glue and "strapping tape"
glue the raw parts and use the tape to pull it as tight as you can
you can also buy 4 24" bar clamps, use them, and return them after
That was nice of you.
>buy wood glue and "strapping tape"
correct answer
I'd leave the door on, because there's no way he'll be able to remount those hinges to swing level
if door is open 90degrees from the cabinet, can stack books under it the corner of it so it kinda levers into the glue face, even
kid's gonna be hard pressed to do any of this right with zero experience
looks like dorm/barracks crap imitation IKEA
>>
I'd run the glue bead, set up the door on some books like I said to take the weight off, and drive some finishing nails to clamp it
if it looks like crap after, set the nails and fill with toothpaste and paint the whole border thr same black as the lentil
or whatever color seems nice
or any color whatsoever
the monochrome of that photo is depressing
>I'd
ohh, just noticed the split in the ceiling right at the corner
drive a couple screws into that to get it relaminated and square before you do any glueing
>no way he'll be able to remount those hinges to swing level
You can usually adjust those hinges by fricking about with the central screw to level the doors and remove any gaps.
>You can
I can
You can
He was asking how to use glue
Yea, cause the entire piece of plywood it mounts to detached. Glue needs to go first, so re-adjustments can follow.
Again, you're talking like a person with knowledge and experience. OP has neither.
I mean sure, but the point is he won't need to re-mount it to the exact level, and it's not like we're not already down to walk him through.
I used wood glue and some of these screws. Seems to be fine now.
good job
another happy ending
While you're at it, shoot some glue into this crack and then put a few screws in it to force it back together.
In the future, don't buy particle board furniture.
