A BTG is only 15 tanks. They've got a lot of other stuff, but tanks is 10-15.

Do you realise that just the tripulation of those tanks is bigger than the number of civilians killed? The numbers are pure bs

      >tripulation

Tanks use a lot of fuel, can't keep em moving all day, gotta park em.
See tank park on five eyes satellite, send it to Ukrainians.

I wonder if the Russians have been trying to clear minefields with artillery, given all those impacts, then told vic crews to roll on through.

Didn't they have a mineclearing tank? NATO engies have a similar and probably far better system. Fired a rope of explosives over the area and detonated it. After it was moved into position by vatnik hands of course.

        >Didn't they have a mineclearing tank?
Yes, all tanks are mineclearing tanks when it comes to russia. But seriously though, ruskies probably do not have enough of actual clearing tanks and even if they did they have no logistics to get them where needed quickly enough.
        >Fired a rope of explosives over the area and detonated it.
Russia has those, but it seems they have used them only against civilian buildings so far.

They used all their clearing charges as improvised artillery.
