They'll never replace the M2.

They'll never replace the M2. It's list of problems is few and solving those problems are easy but the M2 which was manufactured in 1933 still performs the role that it is needed for.

              >the asgard were always hyper advanced and never developed technology
I always hated that plot point.
              >implying that projectile weapons have to be chemically propelled
The Asgard could have made plasma propelled projectile weapons, magnetic,(gauss) electomotive, (railgun) or some bullshit gravity driver.
              >xcom sg1 crossover
The only completed example is XSGCOM which makes SG1 look completely incompetent while completely ignoring XCOM's soldiers who make Somali milita look like Delta Force.

were in the middle of a recruitment crisis, the weapons need to look and sound cool, and be fun to operate. Not this faggy piece of shit, redesign the look of it to have sharp edges and boxy.
