Variety of surface and air-launched missiles, to include Tomahawk and Paveway. Targets were Houthi sites for storing and launching weapons deployed into the Red Sea, along with support infrastructure such as as radars and drone operating sites used to locate targets for said weapons.

Probably Germany, they liked the thug angle. But then again, I don't know that much about Japanese propaganda.

Some fishing spears, like tridents, come with multiple heads to make it easier to hit the fish, so if you miss judge it and strike to late or too soon, one of the smaller secondary heads will catch the fish instead.

                wrong
this kind of propaganda uses a very simple, very fundamental principle of negotiation

the portrayal of themselves as peace-loving, innocent, disarmed rabbits, and the portrayal of America as a belligerent, antagonistic war hawk, establishes these things as "fact". therefore, further militarisation of China is simply an act of prudence and reluctant defence against a belligerent adversary.

the principle of negotiation used here is to always seek to portray oneself as being on the disadvantaged end of the status quo. hence, demanding disproportionate gains benefiting oneself is not unfair, it's "redressing" an existing "imbalance"
                >see also: affirmative action

the negotiation in this particular clip is twofold; , directed at America and its allies, but also at domestic audiences who may question China's increasing arsenal

                >le ebic elite sand people warriors
Who's to blame for this stupid meme? Dune? Lawrence of Arabia?

I believe Hitler and Tojo first formalised "Triumph of Will" as a military strategy, but countless leaders throughout history have encouraged their followers with pretty much the same spiel: "the material disadvantages don't matter, you're just better people than them"

bombing the palace is the oldest trick in the book anyway even the houthis can predict it. It happens in every war and coup. just off the top of my head:

I believe that they have similar beliefs to the ancient Egyptians where they believe that semen has power and that every time it enters someone's body, the receiver steals a little bit of strength from the giver. Therefore, the bigger the cum dumpster you are, the more power you have.
Combine this with their belief that men are stronger than woman in everyway, we come to the logical conclusion that the most powerful people on the planet are Femboi Subs, thus they are responsible for all of the evil in the world as it is well within their power to stop it and they don't.

They also seem to be under the belief that castration gives you superpowers, as they believe that trannies are capable of altering reality through their mere presence alone.

/misc/ is a queer place indeed.

I have no idea how they got to this point to be honest. They just seemed to wake up one day utterly convinced that homosexuals are the new Lizard People and are controlling us through the media.

It could have easily been them deciding that blue is the devils colour and that Costa Rica is actually Wakanda and is controlling the world through pineapple-based sorcery instead.

it's an antiflash suit. it's made of nomex and makes you get burned less when a magazine blows up (at least that was why the RN introduced them after Beatty's Big Blowout at Jutland). same reason nuclear bombers used to be painted all white.

        Anti-Flash gear, very useful stuff.

It protects you from short duration bursts of heat, like an Anti-Ship missile strike or a nuclear miss. It's somewhat fire resistant as well but shouldn't be used in place of proper firefighting equipment.

                actually a good translation
"Jingo" is essentially an english nonsense saying that became so stereotypically associated with nationalism that it entered the dictionary as such

                >jingoism (countable and uncountable, plural jingoisms) (uncountable) Excessive patriotism or aggressive nationalism, especially with regards to foreign policy.

                Anonymous

It got associated with nationalism because of a song that was popular in Britain during the Russo-Turkish war. The chorus went:
                >We don't want to fight but by Jingo if we do
                >We've got the ships, we've got the men', we've got the money too

To be fair, twitter is the absolute worst of it. Instagram ain't that bad but they ban you for posting bombing footage or pictures of people with guns.

Twitter is worst than anything on PrepHole or Kiwifarms or whatever, you can find more child porn, dog and horsefricking and drug dealing and murders being done on twitter than any where else.

That's true. Elon fired the jannies and that's when the videos of kittens being killed in blenders started appearing, and when X: The Everything App does get around to deleting it, you can be immediately suggested a video of Mexican cartels burning someone alive in graphic detail instead. That also means Twitter is now literally worse than Gab and Truth Social as I think those sites actually remove the lowest-tier violent gore garbage.

That shit was on Twitter even before that, it just got worse when it became Xitter. When Elon inevitably squeezes all usefulness and profit out of it and drops it the internet will get better.

I know because most of my Brazilian drug dealer folder is from the crackhead's themselves' twitter accounts. It's cool how every time you find their profiles its like a timer starts running down for when they turn up horribly dead. It's like I have the Death Note.

I really am glad that Elon's killing that cesspool, even if it's not entirely intentional. SpaceX does the same on an international level, the US just dumps money on him and Elon makes wildly unprofitable rockets that wow the Chinese and Russians into trying to copy him. China's gonna overturn their entire economy trying to get to the moon with rockets more expensive and less effective than the Saturn V.

if Iran was bombed I'd say Israel for sure, but why would the Israelis bomb Yemen?

            Anonymous

probably because of the missiles and drones they've been lobbing at israel, maybe they waited until america began bombing just to sow confusion

THe Houthis initially launched missiles at Israel when the invasion of Gaza first started, but they were highly ineffective (distance and Israeli defenses). That seems to be at least in part (I would claim highly causitive) as to why they switched to attacking shipping: much easier and has had a much larger impact.

          quite
I have a pretty narrow range of Twitter newsfeeds and I have not posted a single word since getting the app about seven years ago

          >Do you all only get your news from /k/?
          unironically yes
my family and friends' chatgroups have more news than I need, and mainstream news is not worth the bandwidth it's downloaded on

most of this shit really is not worth the time taken to read it
