Yep. Whatever was on that plane was important. You can see that they're actually in full damage control mode, trying to push a centralized narrative (it was ukrainian pows!!! here's a random list!!!) which isn't the reaction we get to minor happenings these days. Something big occurred here

Russia could do probably the best thing now and go through with the exchange, saying that it was the other plane.
It both makes them look good by not trying to pretend POW's aren't dead and it gives weight to any further bullshit they'd eventually peddle.

You're joking but that's actually a brilliant idea. They have thousands of corpses in morgues. Grab an exact number and scatter them. Get living mobiks to saw of limbs.

Ziggers probably needed to hide a bunch of POWs their men just tortured to death anyway, a crash site works perfectly, they can just dump them there and pretend the evil ukrops killed their own people, same shit they did when wagnerites murdered a bunch of POWs and pretended Ukraine killed them.

        Anonymous

But why would they sacrifice a IL-76, what’s essentially Lostech, to hide dead Ukrainian POWs?

          Anonymous

          >why would they sacrifice a IL-76
This needs to be addressed. A functioning IL-76 is an asset that russia cannot afford to lose right now.

          1)
It got shot down (we don't know for certain by who), and they're using the opportunity to salvage some sort of propaganda out of the situation.

          2)
They had an IL-76 that was falling apart & useless, but had one decent flight left in it for a high value operation.

I don't like 2) very much. Also means killing a flight crew, which is as valuable or moreso than the IL-76. I lack the imagination at the moment to suggest 3), but anyone else is welcome to have at it.

            >It got shot down (we don't know for certain by who), and they're using the opportunity to salvage some sort of propaganda out of the situation.

Almost guaranteed, 2 stretches suspension of disbelief way too much.
It's good cope, too, since after Russia unilaterally called off the exchange, it's impossible for Ukraine to call them out on their bullshit because no one aside from Russians knows the truth.

      Anonymous

Frankly, I think that the palestinian lies about hostages being killed by Israel has been such a winner in the disinfo "news" cycle these past few weeks that puccia decided to take the bullshit out for a spin. My bet is that they already had 65 POW corpses on hand and fabricated the entire story to explain why they aren't alive for a scheduled exchange.

We saw this when they burned out the Asov POW barracks to disguise the torture and murder that had taken place, then tried to claim it was blown up by a Ukrainian missile. The pictures from the site looked nothing like a missile strike, none of the burn marks and other damage could have been produced by a missile strike.

Watch for it here. The POWs were already dead. monke is using this incident as a convenient cover to try and hide that.

Let us revisit, once again, the question of just how many vatBlack folk were on the plane.

What the frick is wrong with you Black folk.

If - by design or by coincidence, the Russians did transport Ukie PoWs on that plane, it's a Russian warcrime. A transport plane flying into Bilohrod is a combatant. It was rightly shot down and the Russian behaviour is nothing more than using prisoners as human shields (stop firing your unfair patriots at our transporterinos or you might kill your own). The only response you have to that is frick it and open fire at the double, or you'll just encourage such Black person behaviour.

If they want such flights, mark them with a RC, announce them and have a neutral party (Turkey was brokering deals for example) confirm it's a humanitarian flight. The Ukies are humans, they would lawfully respect that.

Let us revisit, once again, the question of just how many vatBlack folk were on the plane.

65 POWs seems like a minimum of 25 "escorts," perhaps 30 or more. There should be about 100 (or more) corpses at the crash site. IF puccia is not lying.

Where are the bodies? Where's the casualty list?

There should be between 90 and 100 bodies at a minimum. Potentially more, if they were using the extra 80% of available transport space in an IL-76 for other equipment &/or troops, etc. It's an absolutely frickhuge plane to transport just 65 POWs, a ridiculous waste of resources. Unless it was also purposed to transport other things, such as weapons.

Watch webm related. Compare the size of that fireball to what we see here:

Here's footage of the crash, will upload webms of the crash site ASAP.

There was something more than "just fuel" on this POW transport. Interesting new War Crime BINGO! that vatBlack folk were transporting explosives on the same transport as POWs. It's like they were using Ukrainian POWs as meat shields for their weapons ...

I find it funny how much the Russian canned narrative of the shootdown borrows from Girkin's accidental warcrime. Although without Seppo gopniks looting and desecrating the remains of neutral civilians (even iirc taking western clothes off them to sell)

Whatever did happen to those POWs its pretty safe to say that if anyones body can't be found/recovered the best place to look is the black soil of Kolyma

Nobody is denying Ukraine shot the plane down you fricking mouthbreather.
The question is, what the frick did it contain for Russia and it's shills (you) to work overtime on the story.
Ofcourse, Russia couldn't claim friendlly fire with this one, as we have footage, so they were forced to say the Ukies shot it down. But that's problematic... According to Russia, Ukraine hasn't shot down any Russian planes as of late.

    So, enter POW story:
Russia finally admits that Ukraine shot down a plane of theirs (as they literally cannot deny it due to the footage) BUT! haha, dumb xokhol! We stuffed the plane with 65 of your own POWs! Also, no, we will not post a single video or picture of said POWs.

the GRU literally has no way of knowing if there was 65 POWs on board that plane unless Russia has literally sent them pictures and shit. There could be, but with how poorly the RUMOD story lines up and the refusal to post any pictures/videos clearly showing dead Ukies at crash sites to the public, everything points towards Russia trying to save face over losing another military aircraft in such a short span of time.

This sounds like the typical news outlet wanting to report everything ASAP, so they refer to another news outlet, but that source may not be completely accurate anyways. Then it's like a game of chinese whispers if they didn't copy 1 to 1. I guess we'll find out eventually maybe, or it will just be memory holed eventually by either sides.

Yeah, even to this day. MH17 really illustrates the Russian psyche: Sure, you have firehose of falsehood and information warfare. You have Vranyo and the russian relationship with lying for the purpose of dominance over plain deception. But above it all you have the simple fact that russians are the world's biggest fricking candy asses and get irretrievably buttblasted about anything that makes them look bad or anyone who doesn't accept their narrative. It's my theory why the ghost of kyiv shit made them so fricking mad back then, their egos were wounded by what they perceived as people preferring other lies to theirs.

There were other airliners shot down before that didn't translate into war much less punishment. The MiG pilot who shot down a civilian airliner is still living and considered a hero of the Soviet Union for shooting down a """spy plane""".

If you're a nook country you're pretty much untouchable, non-nook havers are seeing this right now. Not only Russia strengthened NATO but they also opened Pandora's box to non-nook countries, both firstie and thirdie alike that if they don't have nooks then they can't do shit.
