all vermonters hate you, for no reason. every vermonter is fake and will treat you as sweet as pie only to return to broken homes that they pay 10x the price its worth to live in only to complain to their pill/heroin/meth addicted wives or husbands before then storming into their childs room only to emotionally and physically abuse them to make sure that cycle repeats. that is the reality of it, and it seems most other places in the northeast. cold weather breeds hatred and depression, everyone ive ever encountered in vermont throughout my life here has proven to be a broken person under the layers of fake pride to be living in this place which is just coping for living in such a pointless place with no opportunity and no way out. me and multiple others ive grown up here with have been desperate to escape this place and i myself have packed up most of my belongings and have been looking for somewhere else to go with the opportunities im looking for which ironically is to work in the woods, but you cant even fricking do that here without starting your own company. funny story i spent the last year and a half here just looking for an opportunity to work in the woods logging and of course the only people who still do it are elderly now, the same people who love to complain about how nobody wants to work anymore! only to hangup on me when i ask if they are looking for any help. keep in mind ive been through forestry school and have certifiable logging education and experience. everyone here is just two faced, only cares about themselves, and dont want to give anybody a chance in fear that they might be successful which is something most people living in vermont never feel they were on the inside hence why they retreat to drugs and abusing their children which just repeats the cycle. this place is hell, and the only option for anybody that has ambitions is to leave. i could go on for hours but its pointless, nobody cares. just dont move here
