>1 hit to the arm, 1 hit to the neck, 2 hits to the body which may have included the hit to the arm passing through >the other 4 or 5 hits were just grazes that didn't accomplish anything of significance >2 shots completely missed the target >hurr surely this is a gear issue and not a shooter issue
I don't know if it's really even a shooter issue. It's hard to know exactly what happened and how the shooting went down, but assuming that all or most of the shooting really happened at 40 yards it's really hard to shoot effectively from that far away with a concealed carry handgun even if you're experienced. They're not really designed to do that.
>implying it even significantly registered with the shooter over all the rounds he was firing with a rifle indoors
Suppressing fire doesn't work like it does in video games in real life.
yeah, suppressing fire is FAR more effective in real life than it is in games, because while the person being fired upon might not be afraid to die, they logically want to survive as long as possible, and they have an incentive to stay down.
In Paul Harrells video on greenwald he shows that he can shoot more accurately at 40 yards with a snubnose than he can with a little auto. Can he fire specifically 10 rounds as fast? Obviously not, but 5 or 6 center mass shots is better than 3 good hits out of 10. Everyone shoots differently with different guns, but if you are that much better with a revolver than an auto you should very seriously consider carrying a revolver.
That's a fundamentally sound practice, and one of the many reasons he could save a really bad day from becoming a total nightmare.
Not gonna tell him he should carry one over the other, but it seems to me like he performed with what he carried, if he had chosen a revolver probably he would still have made it. Hell, if you're antsy about just six shots, there are seven shot revolvers out there too, even eight shot ones.

True, that shit takes some skill, so he's definitely not some guy who just went to the range a couple times a year. Personally, I feel that people should strive to be able to hit man-sized targets at 25yds to cover their bases for carry, but he went well beyond that.
I seriously don't think it would have made a difference either way, he scored a hit in the neck, which is a pretty serious wound, be it with 9mm Luger or .357 Magnum
What really mattered is that he had trained and could actually hit at the range that he did.
I don't care if anybody chooses to carry a revolver, that is their choice, that is what they are comfortable shooting with. My problem is homosexuals that say their reason is "muh average average shooting involves 2-3 rounds" or "if you can't do it in 6, you suck." If you're so hellbent on carrying such little amount of shots, why don't you carry a pistol with 6 rounds in the mag?
You have those same kind of guys with 1911s and 10mm auto, etc.

Do I need to dig the pasta up?
Because I've seen lots of 1911 boomer memes and memes from the 1cm crowd, but nothing matches the level of cringe of a man who carries a firearm designed 130 years ago just so he can be "different".

Ironic because the K frame is like 50 years newer than the 1911
Those are the same queers that have to make up excuses or straight up lies as to why AKs or 20" barrels are actually the best option and you're the dumbass for not using them. The kind of people who feel like every conversation is an argument and they have to win. They're not the majority, just a very loud and insecure minority that needs to assert their masculinity at all times, like the civic owners that make their cars unbelievably loud as to prove they have a fast car and are cool because loud=speed. Just like those civic owners I hope they all get raped by a pack of feral Black folk
You should consider replacing your carry ammo at least once a year or so. You do gradually expose ammunition to warmth and humidity when carrying it loaded into a gun or magazine on your person, and it can add up, together with possible pocket lint and whatever.
With automatics you also have the concern of bullet setback.
"Thank God I didn't listen to contrarian nu-fudds sucking their own dicks because they carried a revolver."

Keep on shitting this in multiple threads you tryhard
Still 8 0f 10 hits and the homosexual is dead

You can also hear the audible crack and whizz of the bullets flying at your direction.
>all the rounds
he didn't even finish a single mag, dipshit. 26 shots fired from active shooter.

Took 8/10 shots. With a revolver it would have necessitated less

maybe a revolver but how tf would humidity get into the magazine?
Humidity moves through the air, and your magazine is not waterproof.
Jesus Christ…
This is your reminder that board traffic increased by three times in February.
Thoughts on cap and ball revolvers?
You guys don't shoot your carry ammo at least once a month and replace it with newer ones? ngmi

Thanks, I needed some cheering up.
