Tear Gas for home defense

What are the pros and cons of using tear gas for home defense, and where can I buy some?

I live alone so if anybody is in the house who should not be I could just gas them out, and I am a felon so I am not allowed to own a firearm, so my only self defense weapon is a brush demon.

This video has me motivated to buy a new gas mask. I have one of those cheap Fernez/Sperian ones that I got in 2020, but I think I want a FM12.

Get a fricking millennium, they're back down to pre-corona prices and they slap harder than anything they used in that video

Really? They're better than an M40/50 to an FM12? I like the aesthetics of military masks, and I see that these are still around $700-1000 USD unless they're somewhere cheaper. But I'm a big proponent of buy once cry once, so I'd go for the best function.

I mean I already own a gas mask, I just probably should get one I can actually shoot a gun in, not just a STANAG NATO mask.

Get a gun, why would fear of the law stop you a second (or more) time?

Why is anyone invading your home? Why does your home not have perfectly legal burglar bars and other security additions? Solve that and the rest is academic. Disconnect from other human garbage. That drags down people who try to escape their peers.

Get dogs (two, not one). They need to be alert and bark. I had many rescue pits (great and grateful doggos superbly behaved) but they were not nearly as alert as da wifes wienerer spaniels.

DIY offers many deterrent options. Tear gas will chase out idiots but then you have to vent your home. I'd use an orange smoke (to not be confused with fire) to blind invaders while I dropped to the ground with an edged weapon, crossbow (you don't mention country, dumbass) or similar. Keep a carpet dryer or bounce house fan for forced ventilation (I use them when welding, they work nicely).

Now go change everything about your life which is your real problem.

If in the U.S, just get black powder guns. CS will make your house smell and feel like there is CS in it for hours or even days after any incident. Or just go back to your roots and make prison weapons.

Reminder that homosexuals like you who go out of you way to help violent people who have demonstrated to society that they can't be trusted with guns are why Cabelas no longer sells black powder guns online. If you keep this shit up, politicians will eventually step in and change the laws and all the fun black powder shit that would be an NFA item otherwise will go away.

Homie could make a pipe bomb out of totally legal shit with one trip to the hardware store and 15 minutes in his garage. Why hasn't he?

He doesn't want to go back to eating shitty food and worrying about getting his ass dilated by Tyreese every day.

If he wants a gun I say give him one, and if he can't have one give him a black powder revolver to keep people he snitched on from getting revenge, or keep tweakers out of his shitty home.

          >Why hasn't he?
Because a gun works better for most things people might want a gun for than a pipe bomb. Cabelas stopped bothering with selling black powder guns online because they didn't want to deal with the cost of lawsuits after murder cases, after having to deal with the cost of lawsuits after murder cases.

You don't pay any debt to society in prison, prison serves to protect citizens from criminals and to protect criminals from lynching

Then why release them? If the purpose of prison is to protect citizens from criminals, then you can't release them. Unless of course, you believe they've been rehabilitated, in which case they no longer pose a threat to the citizenry. So what's the deal?

They're less likely to be lynched after a while, and those bums need to stop leeching off of the govt. sooner or later

you give up your rights when you commit a violent crime anon. Though I feel like drug offenses and whatnot shouldn't make you have to lose the right to vote and guns, that's just fricking moronic. Like what happened to FPSRussia was a giant fricking waste of time and money on the federal govt's part, fricking homosexuals only went after him because he was famous

All gun laws are gay, only a homosexual frames his life around possible future expansions of homosexual tyranny.
Also, there is no room in a healthy society for a disarmed class, if anyone "demonstrates they can't be trusted with guns" they must be removed entirely and permanently through death or exile.

The existence of a disarmed class of adults is massively degenerate and self defeating.

CS gas will despoil your house, OP.

You might as well just let the burglar have his way with your stuff, because setting off a gas canister inside will ruin everything anyway. All upholstered furniture is fricked forever, along with the carpet.

You can order both CS and CN from alibaba usually a couple hundred bucks for 2 kg. CN is technically a chemical weapon and is much stronger than CS. It's not used in less lethal because it kills people in confinement more easily but you can add it at around 20-30% weight in a conventional KClO3 smoke mix because of chlorates low melting temp and it wil airborne it with the smoke. This is the wwas all pyrotechnic grenades work. You can also synthesize many lethal chemical weapons in a home lab with a sufrace level organic chemistry knowledge. Herbicides and pesticides are excellent building blocks for experimental nerve agents. May not be legal though. I certainly dont do that. also dangerous.

Think about bear spray. It's a lot more controlled than a gas grenade so it won't ruin everything you own but you don't need a direct hit for it to work. Like if you hear a bump in your living room just unload the canister thru the doorway and fumigate him.

Be aware that tear gas differs. The shit that cops throw at rioters is made to function outside in the open, so using indoor is going to be wild. Also people respond differently. Some get completely BTFO instantly with so many tears and so much snot they're completely fricked. Others just don't feel it. Personally I'm somewhat resistant, finding it mostly irritating.

Combining it would some less than lethal blunt weapon is probably ideal.
