What are you thinking of buying next? Can be a whole gun, an upper, optics, parts in general. Let’s debate what’s worth doing and why.
Personally I’m looking into some sort of pcc/sub style gun for bedside and maybe putting in a bag or carrying under a jacket for lols.
I have money all year round, and I fill out my W4 correctly so as to not give the government an interest-free loan.
Very proud of you. What’s your next interesting purchase?
A personality.
I'm going gator/hog hunting in israelite-lie. Gunna pay to have the gator skinned into a rug. Hoping to nab a really gnarly looking hog to mount. Was going to pay for a mountain lion hunt, but 7k (excluding food, accommodations, and taxidermy) is too off-putting. Trying to get my buddy to get me a deal for next next season.
I want to try hog hunting soon. Recently moved to eastern NC gotta have some around here
NTA, but it's fun as hell. I did one of the Helicopter hunts in Texas and it's a memory I'll never forget.
>Hoping to nab a really gnarly looking hog to mount
I'm gonna be lucky to get anything on my return, I'm probably gonna owe. I got a whopping $34 last year
This is the correct way to do your taxes. Imagine giving the government an interest free loan for a year
I hope they don’t go spend that $100 all in one place
At least $100 can buy me two anime blu rays
Why the frick should I care? The government will spend as much money as it wants to even if it didn't have my $1000. I don't make enough money for my surplus tax withholding to be significant, and in all likelihood, you probably do not either. If, by chance, you do, then you're getting israeliteed out by the government at an even greater rate than me. Enjoy!
Dunno. I'm torn between the following.
>GHM9 (to SBR)
>Ruger MKIV Lite
>Ruger 10/22 (SBR, ODIN Chassis)
>M9A4
I plan to get all eventually, just not sure which I want first. Help me pick, bros.
Do you already have a can? Either of those 22s would be pretty fun that way
I've got a .223 can and a .30 can. My 9mm can got withdrawn today for resubmission (long story), so I'll be lucky to see it by August. I'm leaning towards one of the 22s also.
Ill have enough for a used Glock 26 Gen3, which is exactly what I want.
Had one when I was 17. Sold it like a shithead, now I want one again. 8 years later
I’m gonna owe like $1000
My tax season started with a 400€ fine from 2021, frick that shit
what should I buy lads? A polish Beryl in 5.56, A Yugo M70 underfolder (new import), an Arsenal SAM 5 5.56, or a Staccato C2 9mm?
Under folders are sexy idk newer build quality but I’d probably go that for aesthetics alone
I’m gonna owe the IRS like $5,000
What cool stuff did you buy with your "makes enough to actually owe on taxes" money you had year-round?
An SP-1, Glock 43x, Bulgarian Luger, and 5 acres in shithole, southern Colorado. My next and probably last gun purchase for awhile will be a Scar 17
Baller
Gun related I'm good, I'm dumping more money into my Tacoma.
They keep raising taxes so I’m going to have a return of like 20$
>Sudden disposable income
>I know guys, let's blow it on another Gunko Pop
didnt get the responses from the last thread that you wanted i see
>/k/ is so financially illiterate that two people saying "don't blow your pennies on bullshit" has to be samegayging
kek, I hope the other guy you're referring to laughs as hard as I just did
I swear, I'm on /k/ like once a week, and this is the second time I've read this moronic phrase.
It's not clever my dude. Just stop.
I said it because I saw someone else say it and thought it was a funny, somewhat accurate phrase that captures how moronic the current gunsoooomer culture is. If you don't like it, may I recommend crying about it?
Fair enough. I understand that rampant consumerism is fricked. I don't understand going on a board devoted to weapons, and being upset about people discussing which weapons they intend to purchase. Is all gun buying bad? Just some of it? Who decides and what criteria are they using? There's been threads about tax return purchasing on /k/ for a decade plus-
Throwing snide comments around doesn't improve anything.
>breaching shotgun for giggles
>22 plinker for the kids to train on
das it mane
If you need a tax return to buy any gun your poor and should refrain after one AR.
It’s more just a jumping off point to talk about interesting builds from any genre. No one is so fiscally irresponsible to only have money come tax season right??
If you don’t know the difference between “your” and “you’re” you are poor and should refrain after one AR
For me I think I might overpay for a 9mm Tavor SAR conversion kit. Just so I have options for calibers in one of my favorite guns. It's just a shame I need to sacrifice my foreskin (again) to the merchant guild.
>What are you thinking of buying next?
Something semi-auto in 5.56. Current Contenders are WBP Jack, M90, JAKL, or that new Vuk thing. Vuk will win if it actually materializes.
>fed refund cancels out ME taxes owed to within a $10
Maybe like a Reeses or something.
Next interesting purchase is probably a VZ61 pistol, but I can't decide if I should get it in .32 or get one of the .380s since I already stack .380 for my EDC.
What’s the edc? I’ve been thinking about the s&w bodyguard for a pocket gun
P365-380. Too big for a pocket gun, I'm afraid. A buddy has a bodyguard, it's snappy but runs well. Consider an LCP
Nothing, I can’t afford shit.
As long as I don't owe some absurd amount of money to the government I'm going to buy an original longrifle. I just bought a house last year and have been dumping tons of money towards principal to kill my mortgage as fast as possible which has been a big damper on any fun spending. I spent one morning plotting out different amortization uhhh projections or whatever you call them, and along with a whole three column 2024 budget in Excel I'm gonna be plenty fine to around $3k on an original rifle in February. Luckily the ones I favor aren't too popular amongst collectors, so $3k goes a long way.
Anon just being able to buy a house would be better than being able to fill a two page 3s, section Ds of a 4473
>probably no returns again this year
If Uncle Sam would budge I'd buy guns in this order depending on the size of my return
>Colt 1911
>Smith and Wesson 629
>Mossberg 590 Mariner
>Tikka T3x
Those are my top 4 with the top 3 being very likely.
I think I would ditch option 4 and bulk buy tons of ammo though or maybe get another 9mm duty gun
Okay boomer
You should be buying equities not paying down a low rate mortgage kek
I wish I was a boomer, then I would have a shitton of money, but the main reason why I want those guns because:
>1911 is historical
>629 is more powerful than my 686
>I want a stainless shotgun for Florida
>I want a good hunting rifle
Also I just want a place to live damn it
I am looking to just buy land and then place a trailer or get serious and build a house in a few years or with the purchase of the land
How and why do you buy (invest) into equiuties (stocks) ?
Nta but
Open td ameritrade/fidelity account
Transfer money from bank account
Buy index funds like SPY or SPYD if you don’t know how to pick stocks (you probably don’t). Pick stocks if you think you can, and if you’re a degenerate gambler start playing with options
(Hopefully) enjoy a rate of return greater than your mortgage APR
>buying SPY on instead of VOO
>buying the S&P 500 for growth instead of NASDAQ 100 (QQQM)
peak midwit.
Probably a “pocket” gun. I have no intention of actually pocket carrying, but need something like a P32 to carry when wearing t-shirts since most won’t conceal my m&p shield. I’m interested in a revolver, because the grips are easy to grab from concealment, but idk if the cylinder would make it obvious I’m carrying.
>muh vanguard
Oh no, not an expense ratio of .09% instead of .03% thats .6% savings over a decade!
That’s almost half the dividends lol and the NASDAQ mogs the S&P
you sound 12
I don't even get any money back, maybe $120 if im lucky.
I have enough guns.
This is the year of gear and nods.
I want a cool milsurp bolt action, non bubbad' readily available ammo for a fair price.
some of us owe taxes because we make a shit ton and pay for you poorgays
I dont want to pay taxes frickface
I tried to get my stimulus when Vorona first hit but the IRS said they had to do a correction on some info Turbo Tax screwed up, so I owed them $9 for the labor. Taxes was already a big enough bother so I just didn't bother any further and haven't done my taxes in 3 years. How much of a pain in the ass would it be to try and get this all sorted out? If it's a big deal I'm not gonna bother. Also, can I still get my Stimulus?
Can't decide if profoundly moronic or incredibly based
Why not both? don't forget lazy ass frick.
Idk just seems fun
Very fun, those come with endless accessories and mods available, I let my daughter build one when she was 12 and we still shoot it many years later
ive got one these things are great braced toss on some flavor of holosun and its a great time
>What are you thinking of buying next?
A HOUSE Black person
WE'RE MAKING IT OUT OF RENTAL HELL
you people ARE filing your taxes for free instead of giving your money to Black person services like Turbotax, right?
I'm torn between buying a Canik Rival or keeping the money for a Desert Eagle.
save for the deagle, it's gonna be way more satisfying and you can swap out the barrels for different calibers
MAC 1911 JSOC. I got a Tisas a1 for free and it’s honestly better than my Springfield. The Springfield isn’t even dehorned. I don’t really care about meusoc but it has all the features I want and none that I dont
If I even get a return, I want to get a blue tongue skink. They’re hilarious creatures, and make me laugh.
M1 Garand will probably be my next purchase. Seems like the ideal thing to mount over a fireplace.
i got some ammo to go shoot the guns i already have
Comfy
was going to buy an AR-50 for the frick of it but literally overnight like near every vendor decided they wanted to tack on an extra $500 for no particular reason
I need to scratch the itch.
I'm going to pay off my truck because I'm tired of giving Hebrews my extra money.
My first set of tools from Lowe’s.
>t. First year Aviation Mechanics student
I have a list and I'll just take one.
>Draco
>AR-10
>Shockwave
>AUG
>Mini 14
>M1A1
>Scoped .308 bolt gun/scout rifle.
