Tax season purchase discussion

What are you thinking of buying next? Can be a whole gun, an upper, optics, parts in general. Let’s debate what’s worth doing and why.

Personally I’m looking into some sort of pcc/sub style gun for bedside and maybe putting in a bag or carrying under a jacket for lols.

I have money all year round, and I fill out my W4 correctly so as to not give the government an interest-free loan.

I'm going gator/hog hunting in israelite-lie. Gunna pay to have the gator skinned into a rug. Hoping to nab a really gnarly looking hog to mount. Was going to pay for a mountain lion hunt, but 7k (excluding food, accommodations, and taxidermy) is too off-putting. Trying to get my buddy to get me a deal for next next season.

This is the correct way to do your taxes. Imagine giving the government an interest free loan for a year

Why the frick should I care? The government will spend as much money as it wants to even if it didn't have my $1000. I don't make enough money for my surplus tax withholding to be significant, and in all likelihood, you probably do not either. If, by chance, you do, then you're getting israeliteed out by the government at an even greater rate than me. Enjoy!

Dunno. I'm torn between the following.
    >GHM9 (to SBR)
    >Ruger MKIV Lite
    >Ruger 10/22 (SBR, ODIN Chassis)
    >M9A4
I plan to get all eventually, just not sure which I want first. Help me pick, bros.

I've got a .223 can and a .30 can. My 9mm can got withdrawn today for resubmission (long story), so I'll be lucky to see it by August. I'm leaning towards one of the 22s also.

I said it because I saw someone else say it and thought it was a funny, somewhat accurate phrase that captures how moronic the current gunsoooomer culture is. If you don't like it, may I recommend crying about it?

Fair enough. I understand that rampant consumerism is fricked. I don't understand going on a board devoted to weapons, and being upset about people discussing which weapons they intend to purchase. Is all gun buying bad? Just some of it? Who decides and what criteria are they using? There's been threads about tax return purchasing on /k/ for a decade plus-
Throwing snide comments around doesn't improve anything.

For me I think I might overpay for a 9mm Tavor SAR conversion kit. Just so I have options for calibers in one of my favorite guns. It's just a shame I need to sacrifice my foreskin (again) to the merchant guild.

Something semi-auto in 5.56. Current Contenders are WBP Jack, M90, JAKL, or that new Vuk thing. Vuk will win if it actually materializes.

Maybe like a Reeses or something.

Next interesting purchase is probably a VZ61 pistol, but I can't decide if I should get it in .32 or get one of the .380s since I already stack .380 for my EDC.

P365-380. Too big for a pocket gun, I'm afraid. A buddy has a bodyguard, it's snappy but runs well. Consider an LCP

As long as I don't owe some absurd amount of money to the government I'm going to buy an original longrifle. I just bought a house last year and have been dumping tons of money towards principal to kill my mortgage as fast as possible which has been a big damper on any fun spending. I spent one morning plotting out different amortization uhhh projections or whatever you call them, and along with a whole three column 2024 budget in Excel I'm gonna be plenty fine to around $3k on an original rifle in February. Luckily the ones I favor aren't too popular amongst collectors, so $3k goes a long way.

    >probably no returns again this year
If Uncle Sam would budge I'd buy guns in this order depending on the size of my return
    >Colt 1911
    >Smith and Wesson 629
    >Mossberg 590 Mariner
    >Tikka T3x
Those are my top 4 with the top 3 being very likely.
I think I would ditch option 4 and bulk buy tons of ammo though or maybe get another 9mm duty gun

I wish I was a boomer, then I would have a shitton of money, but the main reason why I want those guns because:
        >1911 is historical
        >629 is more powerful than my 686
        >I want a stainless shotgun for Florida
        >I want a good hunting rifle
Also I just want a place to live damn it
I am looking to just buy land and then place a trailer or get serious and build a house in a few years or with the purchase of the land

          Nta but
          Open td ameritrade/fidelity account
          Transfer money from bank account
Buy index funds like SPY or SPYD if you don’t know how to pick stocks (you probably don’t). Pick stocks if you think you can, and if you’re a degenerate gambler start playing with options
(Hopefully) enjoy a rate of return greater than your mortgage APR

Probably a “pocket” gun. I have no intention of actually pocket carrying, but need something like a P32 to carry when wearing t-shirts since most won’t conceal my m&p shield. I’m interested in a revolver, because the grips are easy to grab from concealment, but idk if the cylinder would make it obvious I’m carrying.

Taxes was already a big enough bother so I just didn't bother any further and haven't done my taxes in 3 years. How much of a pain in the ass would it be to try and get this all sorted out? If it's a big deal I'm not gonna bother. Also, can I still get my Stimulus?
