Not really, more likely from underneath, depending on how they seat on your nose/cheeks.

When I look at my budget,
I want to save a few pennies on the only goddamn things protecting my eyes from injury.
Seems to me, the equipment that's preserving my vision is the right thing to cheap out on.

I got a pair of that model and a couple other models off aliex; about two mill thick lenses. Can't compare with "established brands for lack of experience. Will post pics if you want me to.

    86¢ "safety" glasses

It's your eyes, not my problem.

      >Is le bad because not marked up to the gills; quality must cost an arm and leg because that's what I've been charged and that's it.
Pretty much all those chink factories advertise machinery from Japan, Germany, US; same for raw materials like plastic pellets from Germany, etc. (e.g.: BASF, etc.).
I'm betting pretty much every "trusty" brand you could name has them outsourced to the same factories that produce these, others similar.
And that's a profitable price, btw...
      Tl;dr: price≠quality

The difference is, a trusted brand makes sure they are actually ANSI certified factories.
You really think these low priced chink factories give a frick about actual certification?

What people need to realize about mainland china is that there are copious amounts of small factories that have like 50 people who use cast off equipment and counterfeit any and everything they can.

Do you know if the random person who white labeled the PTCOL brand used a large expensive factory with its certifications, or a small cheaper one with worse equipment and materials with no certification?

          >ANSI certified factories
lol, lmao even. That shit isn't worth the paper it's written on. Here's how it goes with certification, the factory is notified in advance that an inspector is coming. Everything is tidied up, staff is notified and given a quick refresher on what they're supposed to be doing. Once inspection is passed standards are allowed to return to their slapdash norm.
This happens in nearly every industry, frick Boeing can't even manage to properly torque up nuts and they've got inspections out the ass

This isn't rocket science, buddy; if you're paying more than a few bucks, regardless of muh certification, you're being had. And that while they're still having an healthy profit at this price point.
          Price≠quality.

    >Brand I haven't heard of
    >Amazon
Amazon doesn't give two shits about the safety of the products sold on their site and rampant review manipulation means you can't rely on their rating at all. I'm not saying just cause I haven't heard of a brand it can't be good, but I'd want to buy this sort of thing from actual stores that can't just go "Oops, thats an independent seller incorporated in china you'll never hear about again, we can't be held liable, good luck with not having eyes tho"

Also, real men steal protection gear at work.

why don't you get one good pair of safety glasses for like 10 bucks instead of multiple shitty pairs?

    Buy, damage test one pair
If its good you got a good deal
Its funny to see how brandlets cope saying brandnames check if things are run properly as if they give a shit
Its all made in the same factory and you're just paying a 900% markup for the brand sticker morons

I'd be wary about whether or not safety equipment this inexpensive has actually been certified to meet the standards that it claims. You can state whatever you want on Amazon, they don't give two shits whether or not it's bullshit.

Another issue with cheap eye protection is the uniformity and clarity of the lenses. Cheap eyewear can often have a wavy or non-uniform surface that distorts your vision. If you check the reviews for these glasses, there are a number of people complaining that these have that problem.

      Lol
      Lmao
It's just the same fricking run of the mill thermoplastic raw material as every other ones on the planet, nothing special about it.
Picrel two other models. If anything I'd go for the ones with the frame. They're top notch.
