Actually, you can operate multiple launchers using one console smartasses, it has a selector. Nobody does it anyway because it's for emergencies/ damaged units.
iirc they had the command unit wired up to 4 different missiles, which weren't even mounted on anything, just resting on the ground, just slightly canted upwards by the ditch that the team was in and pointed roughly in the direction of attack
