a pro russian/indian website, no thanks
you can certainly hear the hissing sound the su 57 does so it is legit
however i dont know if its actually from 2022...
How come Su-57’s don't use RAM?
RAM is just /k/ope for bad geometry and poor design.
The SU-57 airframe RCS has been calculated BY HAND.
> calculated by HAND.
Damn, dude!
Nice cope to cover that you've not got any decent computers to handle the calculations.
Thee high skill Russians really are the best, to compute hundreds of millions of variations and to come up with such an amazing system all in their heads, amazing skills.
Do they use high angle radar trigonometry using computational error floating edges?
It got also assembled by hand
And each one has a plate with signature of the person , who assembled it, like M156 AMG engines.
su-57 is garbo
Looks overly enhanced, but WTF is it anyway?
A lack of S-ducts which severely undermines any other attempts at reducing RCS.
>K expert about cope-ducts.
Impressive
>S-ducts, RAM coating and not using exposed rivets and screws are just copes
non-5th gen fighter having ass hands typed that post
It's enhanced via he same method they use to spot nipples through clothing. Contrast abuse.
Article says nothing confirmed and it's likely just a false claim for propaganda purposes.
i've skimmed through the article and there's thinly veiled 'praising' of russian 'strategy' so yeah...
There's no way Russia's risking one of their remaining and irreplicable Su-57s even they were flight ready which they probably aren't. Not to shoot Cold War era missiles and drop dumb bombs for little gain.
Bet they just flew over Russian territory for propaganda purposes and fricked off back into Russia.
Do they operate alongside with stealth T-14s?
As real as the bandera-mobile
That's kind of a step down. Nobody's been able to detect the Moskova for a couple months now, and Russia insists that it's sailing around the Black Sea under its own power even today.
THAT is impressive stealth.
>in stealth mode
This makes me wish pilots would say "engaging stealth mode" every time they turn the radar to standby.
Don't forget to turn off the running lights, too.
>stealth
I'm looking right at it.
But is it enough to fight the Bandera mobil?
Imagine if Ukies manage to shoot it down with a S-300. Vatniks are gonna have a Moskva tier meltdown and Armatard might actually kill himself.
Imagine if it gets shot down by a stinger during a bombing run because the Russians ran out of smart bombs.
That actually raises a question. How effective are stealth measures when in close to lower power MANPAD radar?
It's literally just gonna get stinger'd via thermal lockon lmao
Oh I'm fricking moronic. Please make this happen, I want to see more images of destroyed Ruskie aircraft.
It's ok anon, nothing wrong with asking questions.
MANPADS are IR guided, not radar guided.
>MANPADS are IR guided, not radar guided
Do bongs really guide their manpads by radar? What are the advantages other than making it a fair fight by alerting any RWR that the plane is being painted
Newer MANPADS have electro-optical guidance, and there's no reason the missiles can't be datalinked/networked in the same way a large SAM or cruise missile is.
>posts a command guided beam riding manpad
They're bad with anything nearby. Stealth gives you detection handicap, not invisibility.
If it's within visual range most anything will be able to lock and kill it.
They do try to manage it's thermal signature, but that's for IRST detection at 300km, not 3km. If it's within visual range updated stinger don't even need IR. It can also lock on the dark spot of UV light the plane silhouette blocks from sky (thus making flares useless unless they also leave a UV blocking smoke trail).
>and Armatard might actually kill himself.
Armatard doesn't exist you schizo, take meds
Armatard got fricking softdoxed at the beginning of this year, moron. For anyone interested in how it all unfold, start reading here:

Jeff Jaworski? That’s such a fricking common pollack name I’m not even kidding lmao. A cursory search on Frickerbook comes up with literally dozens in my area alone
When you have to make a ton of accounts and have to avoid getting recognised, you'll probably end up with names like this.
By the way some russian fake news websites quoted him with that name as a journalist and war correspondent for some articles of downed TB2s, which eventually were used as sources on the wikipedia article of it, took them quite a while til they notice and removed it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Baykar_Bayraktar_TB2
>The claim that 47 TB2s were downed by LNA has no real evidence. It's nothing but a hearsay, and if you actually follow the sources it leads to a fake US official named Jeff Jaworski. It was a PR stunt for Pantsir S1 by Kremlin shills, i'm very surprised to encounter those dubious articles as sources here after all this time.
Imagine if they get it with a fricking Stinger. We probably wouldn’t even know, Russia would just ape out and start launching warheads at western cities lmao
"Stealth mode activated, they won't see a thing"
I remember this line from some Vidya, but I can't remember what the game was. It was a female character saying it though
Sounds like an Empire Earth line
Items a male voice actor from Command & Conquer 3. Nod stealth tank.
>stealth
>flying low to avoid enemy radar
Russians truly are pathetic. topkek
holy frick you are dumb
This may be semantical, but how does a stealth aircraft have a "stealth mode" if most measures are passive rather than active? Is there active stealth? I'm genuinely curious.
Yeah, passive and active stealth are frequently used terms. Active stealth is some types of electronic warfare, like the radar-wave cancellation that Dassault's SPECTRA does.
SU-57 has no S-ducts, so they have screens that can be put in front of the intakes to block radar. I have a couple questions about it, personally.
>are the screens integral and move in place while in the air on-command?
>how much do they restrict airflow?
The whole concept seems extremely fricky for these two reasons alone.
there are multiple US aircraft fielded that use radar blockers, not to mention a bunch of prototypes and canceled aircraft
not rly a crazy concept
both S-ducts and radar blockers have trade offs
S-ducts don't really have tradeoffs besides needing space to frick with intake geometry. Every fighter needs some kind of way to stop shockwaves from hitting the engine and S-ducts do that for free, which alone make it worth the trouble.
>how does a stealth aircraft have a "stealth mode" if most measures are passive rather than active? Is there active stealth?
External stores: Non-stealth mode
No external stores: Stealth mode
Can it transition when it has dropped any external appendages?
>operating-in-stealth-mode
CLOAK ENGAGE
They used this technology

"Suppose the Su-57 is as stealthy as its American peers, in that case, it can be expected the plane to be able to fly undetected inside the Ukrainian airspace to suppress enemy air defenses, experts commented."
>Billie Flynn, a former F-35 Lightning II Senior Experimental Test Pilot, >>>
<<<<<< with this suggestion when asked about it by EurAsian Times.
"He said:"
>“Su-57 is not survivable in a high threat SAM (surface-to-air missile) environment at this point in its development, so would not be deployed within range of any Ukrainian SAMs.”"
This fricking article LMAO
>agreed
lmfao
Russia only has 3 of those things surprised they pulled them out of the showroom. They are just one heat seeking MANPAD shot away from epic vatnik seething.
>stealth aircraft
>posts a picture of it
The spookies would glow a bit harder if one crashed in Ukraine
>DoD nerds roll it out as a joke and they spend 30 uninterupted minutes laughing at the RAM paint chemical analysis alone
Nobody here but us trees
So let’s pretend Russia could come up with a budget to build their next gen of multirole fighter and none of the ministers or factory managers embezzle any of it. What could Russia make based solely on domestic and Chinese import parts? Would they be stuck trying to make the best 4th gen they can? Perhaps with some low-observability features ie Silent Eagle? Or go with the best stealth fighter they can manage?
Looks like russia is unfricking itself. I wonder what took so long, western saboteurs high up?
>eurasian times
>stealth mode
>4th of July
>Heres your stealth bro, made by hand btw.
I saw one of these fly over cheasapeak va like a year ago
