Society has collapsed and you can only keep at most 3 guns with you on your person/backpack. What combo of guns are you picking and why? Take into consideration when putting together your loadout (mobility, reliability, ammo availability, etc.). Total budget for all 3 guns and their attachments is $10,000.

I'll make my post as fake as her breasts.

            >Narinco SKS.
            attachments are:
            >post factory installed 3 prong spike.
            >Bakelite Stock with pica-tinny rails mounted at awkward angles
            >a Soviet style scope mount wielded on the barrel, it is set so the attached scope is a full 1.5inches center-line to the port side. long eye-releaf.and the bakelite has been cut to expose the metal and partially melted. the whole thing has a natural 2° tile.
            >replace the original irons with an arasaka aircraft elevated sight. (not a replica scaled for an SKS but an actual sight for an arasaka)
            >cut the stock and mount just a ordinary door hinge and a lock so I can turn it into a mares leg.

cost is probably no more than $2000.

buy a mossburg 500 and a remmington pump shot gun and modify the remmington to accept mossburg replacement parts. use the 500s barrel and tube, but the remmingtons slide, reciver and stock. cut in a mossburg safety, with a dremel.

total cost $500 and my dignity.

a BP cap replica revolver using a premium high strength steel. have a conversion kit cylinder for 9mm, .357 mag,and .38spc, two barrels a 3inch stub and a 7.5 inch. have a stock attachment and exaggerated irons.

            probably $2000.

spend the rest on breast implants and questionable penis enlargement surgeries.

Ar 15 in 5,56 (long in mountains medium in any other case), any compact handgun in 9mm and a company mortar but it will surpass the budget so a .22 bird rifle for some easy hunting

Of the guns I currently own, my Glock 23 and WASR 10/63 would probably be the most important. The WASR can be concealed since it has a folding stock, in addition to being a competent overall fighting rifle. The Glock is far more effective as a concealed weapon of course, and mine can shoot 9mm and 357 Sig in addition to 40 S&W which could be a valuable capability.

For a 3rd weapon I don't know what I'd use. A shotgun wouldn't be that useful, a second rifle would probably be too heavy to carry around and another pistol would be redundant. I guess if I had to carry it on my back I'd take my 1911 or Kahr CW9.
If I had the means to store it in a car or stash it somewhere I'd rather have my C308. Battle rifles aren't the most practical things but it would have some capabilities that my AK doesn't.

I'll go hardmode and only use what I have.

    >11.5" AR-15- 1200 bucks
    -sling -60 bucks
    -aimpoint PRO- 400 bucks
-streamlight protac whatever the frick -120 bucks
    -holosun LS321 -600 bucks
-magpul foregrip - like 30 bucks

    >Glock 19
    barebones stock, cost me 400

    >marlin 30-30 lever action
30 dollar hunting sling, grand total was like 450

Grand total is 3260 dollars, so even if I were to include my night vision and plate carrier/helmet/belt and all that shit would be well within budget. AR would be for defense/offense, glock would be a backup to the AR, and the marlin would be for game that's too big for me to trap/snare.

A pistol. You need something you can carry easily and have on you at all times. Something 9mm would likely be best.

A rifle. You need something that is more oriented towards fighting. An AR15 would be my preference.

A 22lr rifle. Something you can carry/stock ammo with in large amounts. You can hunt small game with it, and when the AR runs out of ammo you will still have plenty of 22lr and it is better than a sharp stick. Get the most common 22lr rifle in your area.

Pistol of your preference, try and keep it in a fairly common model/caliber
12 gauge pump shotgun. Reliable, versatile, and ubiquitous. You can go from shooting basically any animal on the continent to doming some homosexual looter with a plate carrier and a daniel defense AR all in one day
Dealers choice between an AR/common rifle or a .22 of some sort. Reasons are pretty obvious

My MCX for defense, my Rem 870 for hunting and my LC9 always CCW'd since the only time I'd realistically need it is when I'm somewhere I can't have the other 2

Ak-74 and glock and shit tone of ammo. I'm not that into know everything about guns, so I need most reliable and easy to use and decent stopping power.
Wanted to say vintorez as It great and also very reliable sneaky weapon, and I don't see myself shooting in a long range but acquiring ammo for it would be a problem.
Oh and probably take tone of flashbangs

If I'm carrying them on my person/backpack, I'm not carrying 3 guns. At most, a rifle and handgun, at best just a rifle and a spare BCG. I think people vastly over-estimate their ability to carry weight across distance on foot. For me, an AR15 with a spare BCG and 210-330 rounds is about all I could realistically carry along with whatever other equipment I needed.

The vast majority of infantry never use a pistol in war, and I just don't see the point in spending the weight on one. I feel it would be better spent on extra magazines or survival equipment. There's plenty of "butwhutif" bullshit but so far I haven't found any of it particularly compelling. My Block II clone is all I need.

    Big blunderbuss

    smoll blunderbuss

    hand blunderbuss

If society collapses I expect smokeless powder cartridges to be one of many things of the old world. Most SHTF people tend to be the ones who will buy that meme riser mount that raises a red dot and laser so high you can literally hip fire. I don't expect them to stock up on chemistry and geological literature

Ruger 5.56 MPR with a Holosun red dot/magnifier combo and Holosun LS321 plus a Blue Force Gear Vickers sling along with a Streamlight Protac
Ruger 10/22 with a Magpul body and Holosun red dot
    Glock 19 with TLR-7
Rest of the budget would go towards extra ammo and magazines.

How exactly? Does everyone just start killing each other? If it was impossible to even find a single person to befriend then there’s no point in survival.

9mm hi-power- decent capacity with accuracy in low to mid range fights.

.357 mag lever action (16”) for medium to longer range fights I always like lever guns since they top off load so nicely

Scoped AR-10 for long range sniper/hunting use
