Because of how far the bridge is from the front lines and the damage is exactly consistent with a BROACH warhead

          >the damage is exactly consistent with a BROACH warhead
Thanks. Would a BROACH warhead not still have a visible impact on the upper course? I've not seen one if there is / should be.

lol i've been baited by that frickwit before, i am not him, I'm arguing in good faith. I have zero investment in it being a stormshadow, a naval drone, HIMARS, or a bloke with a blowtorch that did it, just trying to get a full picture of the available evidence.

Not that anon, but storm shadow is a cruise missile, cruise missiles generally fly a low flat path not a ballistic arc. So there is no reason why it would have to go through the roadway when it can just hit from the side. That said at this point who knows what actually did it, could also be another sea drone

It was bombed last night, so unlikely.

Again? I thought it was bombed 2 weeks ago and I thought I recognized this photo as the VBIED that blew up the bridge early in the war. Is there even enough bridge left to even repair?

Scorch marks at the base of the supports seem to indicate possibility of an underwater drone. I guess those Soviet-era trained dolphins work as well as the rest of Russia's poorly-maintained 1980s gear.

hato continues to spend 150$ million in missles on a single strike attempt, with damage being repaired almost instantly by 2 guys with a cement mixer (and no hard hats)
i get that its frustrating if the counteroffensive loses 20% of equipment on the first day and then doesnt make a single meter of progress afterwards but is wasting more money on pointless bridge strikes really the correct solution?

I hope NATO wins so Ukraine can have drag queen story hour and open borders immigration just like us. They deserve it. If they're lucky we'll even ship their industrial/manufacturing jobs to India or China and build them some Dollar stores, Walmarts, and predatory lending centers.

[Interviewer:] The bridge that was involved in the incident off Crimea this week…

[Shoigu] Yeah, the one the top fell off?

    [Interviewer:] Yeah

[Shoigu:] That’s not very typical, I’d like to make that point.

[Interviewer:] Well, how is it untypical?

[Shoigu:] Well, there are a lot of these bridges going around the world all the time, and very seldom does anything like this happen … I just don’t want people thinking that bridges aren’t safe.

    [Interviewer:] Was this bridge safe?

[Shoigu:] Well I was thinking more about the other ones…

[Interviewer:] The ones that are safe,,,

[Shoigu:] Yeah,,, the ones the top doesn’t fall off.

Interviewer:] Well, if this wasn’t safe, why did it have 80,000 people on it?

[Shoigu:] Well, I’m not saying it wasn’t safe, it’s just perhaps not quite as safe as some of the other ones.

    [Interviewer:] Why?

[Shoihu:] Well, some of them are built so the top doesn’t fall off at all.

[Interviewer:] Wasn’t this built so the top wouldn’t fall off?

    [Shoigu:] Well, obviously not.

    [Interviewer:] “How do you know?”

[Shoigu:] Well, ‘cause the top fell off, and 20,000 people were stuck on a bridge that had caught fire. It’s a bit of a give-away.” I would just like to make the point that that is not normal.

    ETC. russia is a meme.
