So much prime land in the West is locked up from development and put in the hands of the BLM, NPS, and FS
How is that fair that some states can't use half their land? Can we really not trust people to frick the environment?
I say privatise it all, it's a waste to let the best land remain fallow and an injustice to force ranchers to pay grazing fees to the government
pretty based, undeveloped public land is comfy, there's enough urbanization
>just turn all of the israelitenited States into a subdivision
When the Last Tree Is Cut Down, the Last Fish Eaten, and the Last Stream Poisoned, Only Then Will The White Man Realize That You Cannot Eat Money
Why does state public land not matter? Why would you WANT land to be federalized given that federal rule typically comes with much more rules and regulations and prohibitions?
Most of it was federal land long before it was state land. Guess government schools don't teach much in US history anymore other than slavery and identity politics.
Canada wasn't a country until 1982
Please replace "Canada" on your map with "the Great Britton's b***h"
>Can we really not trust people to frick the environment
People can't be trusted to push a shopping cart ten feet to the corral. If we let them do whatever they want with the woods, it'll all be commie blocks and starbucks within a year.
no
>the best land
never actually been to Nevada have you?
Yes
Its fricking amazing
>Washington and Oregon have more parks than the entire east coast combined
lol
Rabbit hole: now look up land held by department of energy...
Actually, even in Nevada that holds true
Because most of the state is held by the BLM, the lowland rivers to the highland forests,
Ranchers have to rent grazing lands from the government instead of owning it themselves
This is also true for the rest of the Southwest, the National Forests like Gila and Coconino prevent ownership of the highland areas
The highland areas of Nevada are really nice actually, just kill all the coyotes and pave it over and you could plop down a new Phoenix or Tucson
> just kill all the coyotes and pave it over and you could plop down a new Phoenix or Tucson
First time I've ever liked the federal government right here
State of my state, city dwellers.
>BLM is hogging the BEST LAND (literal desert and barren mountains) otherwise we could be as overpopulated as INDIA
>Can we really not trust people to frick the environment?
Absolutely we can not. Look at any area that isn't designated wilderness or protected in some way and you'll see it's a suburb, strip mall or other shithole.
>Can we really not trust people to frick the environment?
we really can't. i hope it stays this way or increases
The only reason I have a place to hike and shoot guns freely is because of blm land, I absolutely don't want to give that up to ranchers that'll just fence it all up and shoot me for crossing the forbidden corners. The federal government should actually take back more land, failed ghetto cities should be completely evacuated and left for nature to take it back. It would be cool to explore overgrown abandoned cities.
You could always ask to hunt on their land. Since when have Americans been so unfriendly?
The federal government is the reason the USA has ghettos in the first place.
Hart Celler is the reason why private property owners became hostile to outsiders.
It's an injustice they still let you breath air.
Agreed OP, it should be privatized and sold the highest Chinese bidder. All environmental regulations should likewise be removed so the CCP members who own it can create maximal value from that land. Anything less than that is communism and unamerican.
There's too much urbanization as is. We must protect the remaining wild lands from development.
pave the wilderness
nobody can enjoy it if it is "wild"
Only homosexuals can't enjoy it. The white man is at home in the untamed woods. We need to stop the spread of the urban cancer full of subhumans and bugmen. that is the place you belong.
>the mentality of a 10yr old.
And you've got the mentality of a woman
