Shotguns are fricking broken in this game
If it's for blasting doors what does this do that a Serbu Shorty doesn't?
Box mags are the only benefit as I have seen Shorty's mounted under barrel. >Inb4 MIC
I own the M-26 PDW posted above, and I also have a Super Shorty. The Super Shorty has better ergos and is easier to shoot. You have less control over the M-26 because there is no good forward grip whereas the Super Shorty has a really solid grip on the pump slide. The M-26 is also slower to shoot compared to the Serbu. The Serbu shoots just like any other pump shotty, you just pump it between shots. The M-26 requires you to take your support hand off your grip, operate the bolt, and then grip the gun again before you can fire. Now the obvious downside of the Serbu is that they're only 2+1 or 3+1 and slow to reload. The M-26 has 3 and 5 round box mags which are, IME, highly reliable. So as far as a standalone weapon or breaching tool goes the Serbu wins on everything except capacity and reload speed, but unfortunately those are pretty important.
Now for underbarrel mounting I'd think that things would be different. In that configuration you've got the stock and the grip of the M4, so this wouldn't have any sort of disadvantage compared to a KAC Masterkey. In fact it would be outright better than the Masterkey thanks to the box mags.
It doesn't make a defense contractor 4k a gun. I am sure I am by hyperbolic with the price but u get the point
They're not too expensive. I think I paid about $1500 for my M-26 and 8 mags, and that was as a random civvie who called up my NFA dealer and asked them to order me one from C-More. I've seen them sell for several times that on Gunbroker, I don't know if something changed or if people were simply ignorant about how one could simply order one straight from the source. Anyway, they aren't crazy expensive.
They did for like 10 minutes in 2008
Just get the civilian version bro
Civilian version? That's just as much of an NFA item as the others.
There is a different configuration intended for underbarrel use, and another one meant as a PDW (picrel).
I get killed by them all the time in bf4

I hate frag round users with a burning passion but its really funny when someone uses them as indirect fire
for me its the m1014 with slugs and the rifle scope
I used to run spas with slugs and acog in HC all the time
They should just use the dang Ks7.
Nattu Guard here
We have 2 of them and use them once a year
Butt Secks?
Yes but literally just for shooting doors. Never ever mounted on rifle. >Engineer gay
Makes sense, seems lightweight enough to hang on your back and it's fine, but would be a fricking pain in the goddamn ass to hang under an M4.
