Because saboteurs suggest a need for federal troops to come by, which both risks upsetting the local corruption apple carts and also means a bunch of ill disciplined thieves and rapists with guns coming to visit, and both of those are terrible outcomes for the local authorities
This. It's not an outlandish possibility that this is a case of >report productivity is higher than it actually is >report stockpiles are higher than they actually are >read: they exist at all >sell a greater proportion of your output to third parties than you report >read: all of it >order comes in to requisition your stockpiles for the war effort >oops terrible accident sorry commissar plz give funds to rebuild factory >btw who do i need to bribe to keep my job?
New import permits stopped being issued September of 2021. Permits last 2 years before expiring.
Even if it's banned in the US, Russian production could affect the global market in the same way oil does.
That's not how it works for ammo. It works that way with oil because everyone wants oil. Not many other countries are consuming ammo in the same quantities the US is.
>. Not many other countries are consuming ammo in the same quantities the US is.
Sure but when you put them all together their ammo consumption starts to become significant. If Pookistan or India suddenly can't have their 7.62x39 orders filled by Russia they'll buy from Serbia or Romania or whatever and in turn Prvi Partisan will raise prices in response to the new demand they face.
>If Pookistan or India suddenly can't have their 7.62x39 orders filled by Russia
I'm pretty sure their armies aren't dependent on other countries for something as basic as ammo for their rifles. Prices in the US could very well see a bump simply from the lack of competition from cheaper steel cased ammo.
>Will 7.62x39 go up in price?
The last import permits for Russian ammo are already set to expire in 79 days on September 7th. .223, 7.62x39mm, 7.62x54r, and any other calibers where there's still a decent amount of Russian steel cased available is going to go up in price.
On the topic of Wartime Industry,
why hasn't White Phosphorus been deployed en masse in the ukie conflict?
its the most effective type of smoke "grenade" masking concealment there is.
and Russia has a frickload of phosphorus deposits
would it not help with all the drones in the air giving real time recon?

>Will 7.62x39 go up in price?
No
>We didnt need that factory
you can't start if you haven't stopped in the first place
Well, I care about the price of 7.62. Hence why I asked the question.
If you are In The USA, Russian ammo has been banned from import since before the war. Last September IIRC.

>human error
Honestly, this is more embarrassing than getting struck or sabotaged.
>Local authorities stress that the factory combusted on its own power
The russian ass is singed but puckered ready to clench off the dill resistance
