It's actually alright if you put modern comms in them. And by modern I mean "2023" modern, not 19"it's still alright"80' modern.
If you can put commander of a whole unit in a separate vehicle where they will monitor whole battlefield top-down through drones and give out commands to multiple vehicles simultaneously online, that would cover up entirely for a lack of a third man.
