Idk man I suppose guns feel different to people based on your hands and habits but the startling reliability issues make me cringe big time. I've put a good amount of range ammo and a couple boxes of carry (critical duty) through it and the reliability just can't be beat.

Glock still makes a better gun. SIG is just big with cons00mers right now. Glocks will be carried on Mars while SIGs will be a footnote in firearms history.
The glock 19 is basically immortal at this point anon. Gaston is balls deep in the American handgun market, and he's not pulling out anytime soon. Also any polymer CZ is better than sig trash.
It's supposed to be smaller, that's why they made it smaller. It's not intended to be a fullsize fatass gun. If you want more standardized you have to get the fatter guns. The biggest issue is the proprietary rail, which is also due to it being thinner so a standard 1913 would bulge out.
This P365 has a standard rail, though.
And I'm not sure that was really ever a big problem, Springfield Armory and HS Produkt were able to use a 1913 rail on the Hellcat no problem.
The Hellcat is fatter. Go hold them. I'm not sure what frickery these reviewers are pulling but the Hellcat is noticeably fatter than the P365, there's no way they measure the same in thickness.
The p365 rail is proprietary. You have to get an adapter to make it a standard 1913 and it puts the rail so low most lights aren't usable because your finger can't reach the switch.

That's all the modern shooting community cares about now, unfortunately. Higher capacity leads the new hype train, with no thought to how much 17 vs 15 vs 10 actually matters for a carry gun. Thin is in, so the lowest number equals the best gun, with no regards to the compromise in shootability with the thinner grip. Then you need to have the 1913 rail to mount your light/laser/vibrator combo, because without it you will die in a gunfight, etc. It's annoying, but I know that everyone who falls over themselves to argue specs sheet numbers didn't own a gun before 2013, and therefore I'm better than them.

That's not a pocket gun and neither is the Glock 48 or whatever long ass piece of shit they're selling now is. A duty gun also doesn't need to be 1.5 stack, it can be double stack and the standard is 18 rounds. That's almost 20, if you want 20 get a +2 mag or look for a long ass handle gun that gives you 20. The p365 platform with 20 round capacity would be longer than usual since it's 1.5 stack and not double stack. It does give the benefit of not being as fat as shortened duty guns like the fat ass Glock 19. That shit is too obese for concealed carry unless you yourself are also obese. So the 15 round p365 would be better for this role of combining a decent full duty gun with a gun that can still be easily concealed. The G19 has never been that. Maybe the USP which is what they based the G19 size off of, and that gun desperately needs to be brought into the 21st century.

You're out of luck with the P30, but the P2000 is the same size as the USP compact.

The G19 is a compact not subcompact. It's a ripoff of the USP compact. People neglect that the G17/G19 are cheap striker ripoffs of the USP/USPc. It's fatter because it's just a fullsize cut down at the barrel and grip, designed for smaller people or officers/detectives that would benefit from concealment. People will typically shoot a compact much better than a subcompact, that's pretty much true across the board. You're not going to get full performance out of a P365 or especially anything smaller like say a Ruger lc9 or SW shield. Good luck stopping a mass shooting with that especially considering you guys don't actually train.
The real moron here is the Glock 26. They call it a subcompact but it's just a compact cut down even further so it's still fat as hell. People bragged that they had 10 rounds when they were twice as fat as single stacks which carried 7-8 rounds. Totally a useless POS.

1993 is 11 years after 1982.
Also the USP is a very good gun but there is almost nothing original about it conceptually. If anything, part of its success was in how conservative of a design it was, compared to previous H&K pistols like the P9 or P7. It's just a very basic DA/SA, tilting barrel pistol (LEM came later) that had a lot of work put into it. I'm not saying Glock is original, but there wouldn't be any reason to steal anything from the USP when making the Glock, even if it had come out earlier.

Hellcat mags don't taper as much so it feels fatter, but the width is the same.
This is BTW the reason they got an extra round in their mags.
based and cutting-edge pilled
JSOC, CIA, etc. have decided that sidearms are just extra weight and bulk that's not needed for most missions. If you're walking around in your gear with a fricking pistol on your leg it's obvious how behind the times you are.
Depends. FBI HRT doorkickers only have 2 reloads, which is probably overkill for most warrant service/hostage rescue/barricade jobs. If you are a soldier you'll want much more. For an armed citizen have as much as you want, but keep in mind the worst non-police self defense shooting on record only had five assailants (and the armed citizen successfully killed all of them with a six shot revolver).
>If you’re a soldier you’ll want much more
Not these days, if you get into a tic, you find cover and call in an airstrike and either advance once it’s destroyed or gtfo
They have an ar15 and probably wont even fire it their whole career. There are green berets who have done multiple deployments to afghanistan who don’t even have a cib despite being at a fob. The infantryman is pretty much dead. After the cia couldn’t torture anymore and eveyone in gitmo got lawyers, they stopping doing the capture/kill thing as well and just used drones
I'm not even gonna bother shooting this new flavor if the previous two feel like shit and have reliability issues. In fact I avoid sigshit all together now including their crappy rifles. So yes.
I just killed the 365 x-treem. Subcompact but feels like shooting a full size pistol. Comes in 18rd or 33rd versions. Striker fired or da/sa, polymer or alloy frame, your choice!
>no flared mag well
Gen 5 has this if you think it matters (it doesn't) >no pic rail
This is good. Pic rails are ugly and offer no advantages over the glock rail >no threaded barrel
moronic on a sub-compact but there are aftermarket options for this >no grip dimpling >no front slide serrations
This is good. These things are ugly and useless. >no extended mag release
Available if you want it but most people don't. >no night sights
Available from the factory which isn't appealing to most purchasers because if they care, they probably have their own preferred type of night sights in mind
>This is good. Pic rails are ugly and offer no advantages over the glock rail
Imagine being this much of a dick rider.
Pic rails are objectively better in every way. This is why everyone except Glock uses them. >These things are ugly and useless
Everyone serious firearms user uses front serrations for press checks and malfunction clearing, among other things. Just because you’re an idiot hobbyist who doesn’t need it does not mean others don’t either.
Just accept that your favorite cop worshipping company is behind the times.
Unless you have compromised grip strength, forward slide serrations are a meme. Just wrap your off-hand thumb over the front of the slide and pull it back, you don't need serrations for that.
>Pic rails are objectively better in every way. This is why everyone except Glock uses them.
In fact they don't offer a single real advantage over the Glock rail. This is why CZ doesn't use them for the P10c series. It's why HK doesn't use them for the P2000 series. It's why Beretta doesn't use them for the PX4.
>Everyone serious firearms user uses front serrations for press checks and malfunction clearing, among other things. Just because you’re an idiot hobbyist who doesn’t need it does not mean others don’t either.
No they don't because nobody except idiot hobbyists do the forward press check bullshit. People who actually might need to use their handguns to kill someone (i.e. special forces and cops) all prefer Glocks. They have a tactile LCI. Press checking is completely pointless except to larp as John Wick at the range doing your cool manipulation (note that you look like a homosexual doing it)
>This is why CZ doesn't use them for the P10c series.
They’re morons who make trash for guns.
It's why HK doesn't use them for the P2000 series. It's why Beretta doesn't use them for the PX4.
The PX4 and P2000 have been replaced in their lineup by the VP9 and the APX. Neither of those use the proprietary bullshit anymore, you stupid dipshit.
>People who actually might need to use their handguns to kill someone (i.e. special forces and cops) all prefer Glocks
Look who’s behind the times again. SF have started ditching pistols entirely, owing to the doctrine that back up pistols are just dead weight and your team should be your back up, not a pistol. They don’t even run BUIS for this same reason. The only reason glock was adopted, in their own words, was because it was the lightest option if they needed it. Guess which brand new gun weighs less and carries more ammo?
The only people still using pistols for any actual use are officers and MP, and they use M17s, not your homosexual austrian cop worship pistol.

>SF have started ditching pistols entirely, owing to the doctrine that back up pistols are just dead weight
This is moronic, but so are SF. A sidearm is in case your gun jams. You have a shot and come across a phase 3 malfunction in your rifle, instead of taking 10 seconds to clear it you take 1 second to draw to first shot with your sidearm. You'd be absolutely moronic not to carry a pistol on any SF mission, as a SWAT team member, or in any SHTF scenario where you're already carrying a rifle. It's a backup, 2 is 1 and 1 is none.

Sig is such fricking garbage. The last Sig I bought had an issue where the barrel become so loose I could wobble it around, while the slide was in battery, within only about 100-200 rounds. The constant denial of problems and gaslighting with shit like "voluntarily upgrade program" (for what ought to be a mandatory safety recall) is such a fricking israeli business practice too. Reminds me of the israelites in the Biden administration right fricking now.
YOU WILL BUY THE NEWEST SIGGER PRODUKT
IT WILL FIRE RANDOMLY
IT WILL RUST
IT WILL HAVE FIRING PINS SHATTER
YOU WILL PAY A PREMIUM FOR IT
YOU WILL PAY EVEN MORE FOR THE LEGION MODEL
YOU WILL COPE POST ABOUT IT, LYING TO OTHERS SO THAT THEY WILL CONSOOM THE PRODUKT
YOU WILL CONSOOM SIGGER
SIG's israeli willingness to play ball in taxpayer money embezzlement schemes is the reason the M17 was adopted. There's an open season run on our treasury. If SIG agrees to a $4bn contract in which they send $2bn right back to the politicians to approved it and the corporations they owe allegiance to, through modern money laundering shell companies, SIG gets the contract no matter how shitty their piece of plastic is. Even the generals got some sizeable kickbacks off that shady deal, go look at their smirks when they were looking at the SIG vs the other options. As soon as that hunk of trash was brought out, big dumb guy smiles, "yep, this is the one that's gonna make me, my kids, and their kids rich." Yoi have no idea how politics works in a crumbling empire. Next you'll claim they care more about the American people than the bunkers they're building in Switzerland and New Zealand.
if this thing can hold 17 rounds now and it's basically the size of a glock 19, does that mean we can shield arms a metal mag for the 19 and get 17 rounds? I dismissed it the first time someone wrote about it because it's basically already double stack and surely someone would have tried by now.
Large capacity increases aren't really possible for the 19/17 as evidenced by my link. So much was able to be gained in the 43x platform because Glock designed their magazine so lazily.
yeah I kind of already knew this and that mbx website seems familiar from that time I researched it. Plus I don't know where to get a steel mag catch for a gen 5 glock (learned this the hard way with an aluminum catch on a 43x and the shield arms magazines). Basically you can get an extra round if you don't care about the slide locking back is all.
There's some CZ75s that are either 19+1 or 20+1 standard, but again you pay for it in handle length. That's gonna be a big ass 9mm. Maybe not so big in 5.7 or something smaller.
>decent full duty gun with a gun that can still be easily concealed. The G19 has never been that.
It’s closer to your arbitrary requirement than anything else out there >it’s an obese gun that you can conceal unless you yourself are obese
That’s not how it works. If you’re obese, your belt line is the largest circumference of your upper body, and your shirt contacts it, and will print whatever is there (big gun, small gun, concealed McDouble, whatever). That’s why fat old boomers like to 3:00 OWB carry and hate AIWB; their gut gets in the way. If you are fit, your shoulders or chest will have a larger circumference than your waist, and your shirt will drap over your belt line, allowing you to more easily conceal larger pistols.
>Maybe the USP which is what they based the G19 size off of, and that gun desperately needs to be brought into the 21st century.
Based Glock dabbing on HK by stealing their designs that they hadn't even created yet.
Glockgays will go on about how they actually like having a heavier, bulkier gun, as if they didn’t use its “minimalist slimness” as a positive for years.
They’ll also start using the 1911 arguments like “having 2 extra rounds doesn’t matter if you can’t get the job done in 15”.
I'm just spitballing here, but let me run this by you all - imagine the same gun, same slide length and everything.... except WITHOUT the goofy integral compensator in the slide and the barrel is longer to make up the difference. Then you could even put a threaded barrel on it and still have muzzle devices if that's important to you?
I’m just still in disbelief that people are comfortable carrying a striker fired handgun with no inertial safety.
NuSig has an abysmal design and safety record the past 10 years. The past 5 being the most heinous.
The most surprising of all, is that people are still willing to jump in on a newly released sig, when every new firearm they have launch in the past years has had problems and revisions, from the first p365 to the mcx, no to mention the drop safety fiasco that is the p320
I think calling the P320 a dropsafe problem is an understatement. It’s simply not a safe handgun design, the weapon can fire without the trigger being pulled. There are tons of cases of this happening, you need some kind of secondary safety on a striker fired gun. It’s asinine that people will even deny that this is a problem when it’s such a no brainer thing.
>hmmmm I will no point this gun at my penis that relies on a 1mm thick internal saftey made out of Indian sheet metal, oh and if I jostle my hostler and any part of the kydex makes contact with the trigger and exerts 3 pounds of pressure, I no longer have balls
Buy a 1911
> 8 rounds of dogshit
yeah, I'd pass on that shit too
Buy a glock 19
What’s the advantage of this over just a p320?
It makes you look cooler at the range and it gets more updoots on social media, which is what the vast majority of people buy guns for now.
it supposedly has the slim frame of the 365, but idk much about either
I don't care how shitty the gun functions I will buy 10 of your gun if you make crazy long slides like that
I think it's intended for women, like the Walther PDP F-series. The Macro was being shown by Lena Miculek on socmed probably not by accident
Why wouldn't you?

It's already been done, and it's called the P2000/P30.
>and that gun desperately needs to be brought into the 21st century
It's already been done, and it's called the P2000/P30, meant for
They don't have a USPc/G19 sized one, so nope.
No wonder people think Gaston was a genius, he was able to rip off a design that didn't even exist yet
If glock was ripping off HK, wouldn't the more competent argument be the striker itself, vp70, p7, etc? I don't remember the uspc being around when gen 1 glocks hit the market, but I could very easily be mistaken.
I'm a USP gay but even I know that 1982 came before 1993.
The Glock 19 came out in 1988 and the USP Compact came out in 1996.
It was in testing and development for 9+ years. Meanwhile Glock is still beta testing on the public.
They still havent warmed up to the new fangled “picadillo” rail or whatchamacallit
Idk how this thread became about the USP
>even I know that 1982 came before 1993
>Idk how this thread became about the USP
Too many people huffing HK's farts, but if you're going to pay that much you might as well
I was probably replying to a crazy person again.
>The real moron here is the Glock 26. They call it a subcompact but it's just a compact cut down even further so it's still fat as hell. People bragged that they had 10 rounds when they were twice as fat as single stacks which carried 7-8 rounds. Totally a useless POS
Huh. The 26 was my year Glock (traded it for a SIG P220 chambered for 45 auto).
Thanks for the explanation. I had my own reasons to hate it.
You should get some Starbucks and Uggs with that moronic basic b***h shit opinion.
>Outperforms
>Media break one day
>Glock 19 nearly 40 years on market
Come on Anon
Hellcat mags don't taper as much so it feels fatter, but the width is the same.
This is BTW the reason they got an extra round in their mags.
>carrying a side arm in the current year
God that was so last meta
based and cutting-edge pilled
JSOC, CIA, etc. have decided that sidearms are just extra weight and bulk that's not needed for most missions. If you're walking around in your gear with a fricking pistol on your leg it's obvious how behind the times you are.
11.7 ar, with 3 mags on pc and one in the gun is the current meta for anyone interested
Obviously this is such because they have a whole gang of homies and roll up quietly. Probably not holding water for a SHTF situation
If I rock 4 on and 1 in would that be too much?
You do you king
Shtf is impossible in the usa, the last few years proved that
Shit has already hit the fan. We just don’t know it yet.
Captcha: Mard0n
>If you’re a soldier you’ll want much more
Not these days, if you get into a tic, you find cover and call in an airstrike and either advance once it’s destroyed or gtfo
>only had five assailants
please, youtube is full of citizens who require multiple extra large mags for their preemptive self defense
Can you link to one? A civilian reload in a gunfight has never been documented.
It almost makes sense to give em a glock 42 since it's half the weight of a g19. Might as well have something.
>Bring less
Where have I heard that before?
I bet I could beat them up (except the dog I don't condone animal cruelty)
The dogs probably a master sergeant
killed it?
with a negligent discharge?
I'll sooner throw all my guns in the lake before I become a Sigger, go bribe some more government contracts homosexual.
>samegayging
Glock is cheaper and has a trigger safety.
homosexual spotted
I have a 365x and it's a b***h to shoot past 7 yards. Frick little guns.
You suck my man.
I have a P365XL so we have the same grip size and I can put a full mag into a USPSA A zone at 25 yards.
>is it another striker fired polymer frame pistol
>is it made in exeter
ain't care ain't interested, real sig or git
>comes complete with free rust and patented sig Drop Fire™ feature
I just killed the 365 x-treem. Subcompact but feels like shooting a full size pistol. Comes in 18rd or 33rd versions. Striker fired or da/sa, polymer or alloy frame, your choice!
That looks like it's a pain in the ass to carry tho
That's the joke. It's literally just a sig glock 19x with a goofy not-a-comp milled into the slide.
...Do you...
Do you usually use your ass as a mag holster...?
>no flared mag well
>no pic rail
>no threaded barrel
>no grip dimpling
>no front slide serrations
>no extended mag release
>no night sights
At least I have a high capacity extended clip
Also no red dot options
>no flared mag well
Gen 5 has this if you think it matters (it doesn't)
>no pic rail
This is good. Pic rails are ugly and offer no advantages over the glock rail
>no threaded barrel
moronic on a sub-compact but there are aftermarket options for this
>no grip dimpling
>no front slide serrations
SOCOM just got new g17 gen 5 without front wienering serrations and a special MOS cut that has the rear sight integrated in the plate, they don't want the m17 or m18
Glock 26 gang
Guess you'll be switching from sucking Austrian wiener to German wiener?
>German
Oh, you sweet summer child.
Did the glock 19 drop it off the ground?
>extra charge for integral ports in the slide that don't do jack ahit for recoil, but do increase flash and concussion
Cool
Now that sig is doing it, everyone will change their opinion and ported carry guns will become the new meta.
Couple mo ths back I got a new barrel and comp for my g19, I don't notice any difference, can still shoot a stock 17 better.
Shoulda just got a 34, or better yet a 17L.
I'll get a 40 after I get a new rds slide
I already have a 17.
I do kinda want a g34, but it's not a top priority
become a Canik cuck?
Sig is such fricking garbage. The last Sig I bought had an issue where the barrel become so loose I could wobble it around, while the slide was in battery, within only about 100-200 rounds. The constant denial of problems and gaslighting with shit like "voluntarily upgrade program" (for what ought to be a mandatory safety recall) is such a fricking israeli business practice too. Reminds me of the israelites in the Biden administration right fricking now.
Absolutely nothing wrong with SIG pistols, you're complaint is about Sig Sauer
sig sauer is actually the branding on the west german made pistols.
they are all the one group, owned by a german holding company. all of their pistols have been us designed since about 1990.
My club just got an old p210, army issue.
The hammer kept hitting and bludgeoning my hand
good shooter, otherwise
>this entire thread
No ones making you buy one, calm down.
No, YOU WILL CONSOOM THE SIGGER TRASH!
No one is telling you to buy it. Shut the frick up
YOU WILL BUY THE NEWEST SIGGER PRODUKT
IT WILL FIRE RANDOMLY
IT WILL RUST
IT WILL HAVE FIRING PINS SHATTER
YOU WILL PAY A PREMIUM FOR IT
YOU WILL PAY EVEN MORE FOR THE LEGION MODEL
YOU WILL COPE POST ABOUT IT, LYING TO OTHERS SO THAT THEY WILL CONSOOM THE PRODUKT
YOU WILL CONSOOM SIGGER
Buy sig or Obama will rape you in your sleep homosexual
Obama is why the M17 was adopted.
Might be a good "full-size" option for women with smaller hands. I'll buy the grip module and a few mags for my XL to see if my gf likes it.
If pocket guns hold 15 to 17 rounds now I don't understand why full size guns don't hold 20.
They could, in theory. Nobody really cares to push the envelope, though.
if this thing can hold 17 rounds now and it's basically the size of a glock 19, does that mean we can shield arms a metal mag for the 19 and get 17 rounds? I dismissed it the first time someone wrote about it because it's basically already double stack and surely someone would have tried by now.
>$98
>16 rounds
>larger than g19 magazine
wow they really innovated there
Large capacity increases aren't really possible for the 19/17 as evidenced by my link.
It’s closer to your arbitrary requirement than anything else out there
>it’s an obese gun that you can conceal unless you yourself are obese
I wonder how many times the glock has been killed since it was first made
Glock still ryhmes with wiener!
>What does Sig ryhme with, H'uh!
Shit Saucer
Oh boy another plastic springbox.
Only 3 more weeks of Sig commercials
I already have a glock 19 though, why should i buy a sig (that isn't a two-tone p239 named henrietta)
It just came out and I'm already sick of it
>Make one of the most successful carry guns in decades
>Decide to just keep making it bigger and bigger
Why?
Isn't it odd that every month a new gun kills Glock, and yet it's still here?
Can it kill the usp? Sick of hearing how great that piece of shit is.
But it's cute
Buy Sig, goydier
2-foot bore-axis
I'd pass on this shit.
Noguns detected
I didn't, siggers can think this though.
t. S&W shill
>finger groove
>barrel ports
>non-flush fitting mag
Yeah, no thanks.
Makes sense the 365 is a winner
Yeah the Glock 19 had its time in the sun. It’s time to move on to better designed systems.
Oh look, the glockkiller#79, shilled by every guntuber willing to take cash for a stellar review, I wonder how long until it fades away
Oh I'm sure that will happen but for now siggers are paying a premium for the ported version. Pretty smart of sig.
I like it but would much rather have it without the comp slide.
