No, because that’s a fricking stupid idea, and you’d be far better off with an SSGN

It's a fine way to spam missiles from the expendable ChiCom "merchant" fleet. It doesn't have to be optimal to be ubiquitous and surround Taiwan. Once the contents are launched the fate of the transporting bugships doesn't matter as casualties are irrelevant to Chinese.

        >as casualties are irrelevant to Chinese.
.. why? do they come out of the gestation pod fully grown with genetically implanted skillset?

Because Chinese military tradition takes wise advantage of enormous numbers of expendable people. See Mao's remarks on nuclear warfare. There will be no domestic blowback because bugs think as they're told and especially because maritime losses are invisible on the home front.

"“We shouldn’t be afraid of atomic missiles. No matter what kind of war breaks out, conventional or nuclear, we will win… If the imperialists unleash war on us, we may lose more than 300 million people. So what? War is war. The years will pass and we will get to work making more babies than ever before.”
Mao Zedong to Nikita Khrushchev, 1957"

Individual bugs may value themselves but they value each other as they do street toddler speed bumps.

That won't matter, because you still need personnel to train other personnel and *manufactured equipment*. Look at what happened to Russia. They start the war with inadequate levels of gear and then what they do have gets blown the frick up.

You cannot 'human wave' an absence of gear!

If a military commander order a soldier to disguise as a civilian or false flag, he is breaking international laws and no one will be able of taking legal action against you for shooting back at enemy civilian population.

Same apply to carrying weapons in civilian boat or making Q-ship.

Oh no! I can't shoot it! It's registered as a civilian ship.
Oh god the war is lost. Soon all their soldiers will be disguised as civilians and we will be incapable of firing back at them or WE will be called terrorist.

Technically speaking, the UK government requisitioned the ship, so it wasn’t actually a civilian ship at the time. Though, you could definitely argue that it was very much on the border line of a war crime.

Not really because it was with the fleet and its new role was never disguised, so it was never like the army guy dressing up as nurse to conceal his intent, anyone looking would see what this ship was doing.

Q-ships are a compromise to arming all cargo ships. All ships in the convoy are lawful targets of attack without any warning. The q-ship is just a disguised escort to confuse enemy priorities of attack.

              Not a warcrime.

Civilian ships mobilized for war are allowed to be armed.

That's precisely what it does (as long as the targeting of nurses is discriminate (ie you don't target all midwives as well), proportionate (ie the number of midwives you accidentally kill is not excessive), militarily necessary (not killing the all nurses to neutralise soldiers disguised as nurses would disallow completion of your objectives) and doesn't cause unecessary suffering (you need to be good at killing nurses and your methods of killing them need to end their life as quickly as is practicable).

Eye for an eye is the universal law in warfare
        >they kill pows, you kill pows
        >they kill your medevacs, you kill their medevacs
If you give quarter where your enemies dont, they get an advantage

That's literally the opposite of true. If your enemy slaughters prisoners and you don't, your forces fight to the death while the enemy's surrender.

Economically, this is like using bioweapons. The blowback will outweigh any sneaky tactical win.
You'd have to be a moron to deploy it. All of your shipping is now fair game, ALL OF IT, and you'll never get blue water maritime insurance again ever, and the embargoes will be cruel.

Nothing special because the container is just a shell for either ease of transportation or a ruse.
