They had been testing better warheads since early 2023, this leaks gives details from their side. The more interesting part are the radios though.

There is diff variation and based on that the price of just solution (variant) of part is mentioned (not total):
BPDSH AEROB (some gibrish) 2297600 RUB ~ 24,630 USD
          INWAVE TRX-8D 13440000 RUB ~ 144,076 USD
          Set-1 Sector KP 1447820 RUB ~ 15,520 USD

So, they’re going to use a high-bandwidth radio comms module with noise hardening and video feed and options for thermibaric and HEAT warheads? Pretty substantial upgrade. The ability stream video should mean lots of new kill cams being released.

Those sorts of rounds and features seem kind of pointless and just an excuse to increase the price of each unit, if they're just going to keep spamming them in swarms to overwhelm AD to try and get their actual missiles through.
The only reason to invest so heavily in low-tier chaff is because you can no longer produce enough mid and high tier strategic strike options to achieve desired results.

Although they may say it, using these to try and strike individual vehicles and tactical targets is an incredible waste of resources when the current gen of FPV's and bomber drones can do the job just as well, for a fraction of the price and be much harder to conventionally intercept due to their smaller size and faster speed.

It's currently a serious problem for them and they are having to import fuel from Belarus to meet demands. They're going to have to make a choice and decide whether the fuel goes to the farmers or the army this year, because they can't support both at their current levels.

I've looked at the damn thing every morning for the last 20 years and it works as good as always. It was attacked with cruise missiles several times, and sustained exactly 0 hits from shaheds

Interesting, they went with a hybrid Jetting Projectile Charge.

Basicallly the lovechild of an EFP and a cumulative jet. Forms a long, pointed dart with a wide base.

Less penetration than a jet but more damage with EFP like stand-off.

It would also appear to have a case optimised for fragmentation.

The first page of the PDF shows an earlier version had a smaller warhead mounted further forward, into the nose. Now there's a bigger warhead mounted further back, but they simply kept the nose instead of redesigning the whole thing's aerodynamics.
