    >pic related when russians are wasting money and cink chips with 300x markup price on swarm munitions when they should be cooking arty shells like hotcakes and improving their ISR with purpose made drones at squad level

Thats the reason why nobody is going all in on loitering munition spam and partly the reason why switchblades arent getting delivered anymore and the 600 version wasint even given to ukies. Its because the logistical burden of producing and employing them is 20 times more expensive than a dumb arty shell strike. Swichblade tier drones are niche use for SOF units that want to ACK somebody behind the lines while minimizing the chance to reveal their position. Drones only make sense as arty FOs, preferbably with thermals and laser designators for laser guided shells

I've seen videos of Lancets and Switchblade. Biggest difference I've noticed is that Switchblade does majority of busy work for you, you point a target, it tracks him and constantly adjusts drone for maximum hit probability. Lancet has none of it, you have to completely manually steer it to target, which is why there's multiple videos where Lancet gets misses by 5+ meters to the side, overshoot the target or wind just blows drone to the side.
Russians are 30 years behind Brimstone missiles and Switchblade tech

While the concept existed for a while already, the US never had any impetus to actually mass produce GLSDBs since they primarily launched SDBs from the air, anyways. Six months sounds like the right amount of time for them to set up an assembly line to crank them out.

Shills love the Lancet because the Lancet has no native target imaging and must receive laser designation from an ORLAN or similar to strike a target. This means that every lancet mission has footage from a second drone unless the designating drone is killed before it can return to Puccian lines.

Yes, every mission. Think about what that means in term of the volume of lancet footage good enough to use for a perception campaign, lmao.

      >lancet2.mov isn't even about a strike on an OSA
      >metadata directly reveals these are from april

anon is there anything you might want to tell us? like, perhaps, whether it's very super duper important that we recognize this lancet clip as an OSA kill and spread this message far and wide?
