The "victory" will be beyond pyrrhic. The cost fallacy has sunk deeper than the Samuel B. Roberts and there's no withdrawing from this without losing more face than Harvey Dent. The only way I can see to withdraw "gracefully" is by staging a fake civil war that requires all Russian troops to quell. Their situation is honestly far worse than Japan going full moron in China.
The way to get out and somewhat save face is the following >Putin dies, doesn't matter if natural causes or he happens to fall out of a window >new supreme leader puts all the blame on Putin and high military command >settle for whatever peace deal Ukraine is willing to give you >purge the high command and install your loyal guys in there >start rebuilding >lose popularity because you had to settle for peace in Ukraine and things aren't any better than under the old Tsar >false flag some apartment building bombings >go bully some friendly neighbourhood -stan to catch the "perpetrators" >attack one of your neighbours full on because you're still losing popularity >you purged all of the high command and you have no equipment >get your shit kicked in again
Oh wait, maybe there is no way to get out for them.

While I’m still pessimistic for the overall prospects of the war for the reasons [...] outlined, my god, how are the Russians going to rebuild their army after this? With Ukraine they can sustain the conflict despite that because Ukraine is also struggling with its armored vehicles (own production minimal, assistance has got stingy), but imagine trying to start a new war with bare handful of newly-made tanks and APCs while all older stock is either destroyed or early cold war -tier rusty shitboxes.
Are you 'pessimistic' there in your fricking oblast? Russia has already lost this war. Their military capacity has been erased and its now down to the dregs, the Russian economy has also been erased something Russian propagandists dread being mentioned. The Russian dictator will be arrested as a war criminal (and deserves to be) if he sets foot in most of the nations on earth. Finland and Sweden are in NATO. Russias entire invasion ground forces army and their equipment has been destoyed, then their entire pre war ground force and equipment, then their entire first line reserves and equipment. Then there are you concerned strangers who think "Russia has/will 'win' ". That's not happening, Russia will not retain any ground gained in 2014 or in this invasion by aggression because it can't be allowed to or other lunatics like Putin will try the same shit over every festering linguistic enclave. Further Russia decded to make itself an existential threat to the EU and interfere in western democracy as a 'strategy'. So it Russia also made itself an existential threat to democracy. Russia does not get to decide who joins the EU or NATO. Until Russia understands this Russians will be killed at the rate of one thousand a day and 100-200 vehicles and artillery pieces. Russia WILL be entirely disarmed of both conventional and nuclear weapons. Ukraine has the backing of the EU and (again and righteously the USA) its piss stained little Peru size economy is a laughable nothing as are the backward brainwashed and worthless Russian public and its dystopian near failed state, Russia win? Are you actually insane or moronic or just pretending you are? There is no question of Russia 'winning' anything. The only situation being observed is how extreme will Russias humiliation and total defeat be.
You ought to read very careful and stop what you are doing before you and your family wind up dead because you decided it was clever to shill for Putin a murderer and enemy of the European peoples. You dumb brown idiot.
>Are you 'pessimistic' there in your fricking oblast? Russia has already lost this war.
They have won, unless America opens up it's stockpiles of mothballed vehicles including artillery. Europe is tapped out and can only provide a trickle of new hardware. America also needs to ramp up production of all kinds of AA missiles and AA gun systems because the constant propeller drone spam (the russians are presently producing about 90 geran-2 per day) has drained the ukies dry.
>AA missiles
propeller drones like geranium and snasheed are being blasted out of the sky by technicals and a network of sensors
Ukraine just went and fricking reinvented Dowding's system, only with guns that can't fly
Russia will be transformed into a weird loose confederation of ethnic minority autonomous countries along with far right inspired ones all under the new banner of nato. Azov continental empire soon, and then they will go into countries that helped russia for revenge.
>if you think the Ukrainian official numbers are anything close to reality, you're fricking stupid
If you think they're somehow especially fake, then you're delusional

Russia lost this war on the very day it began because their goals were based on complete fantasy.
What's going on now is basically the result of Putin living in complete denial of the situation.
[...]
You're assuming that the Russians aren't lying about how big their army is. Considering that virtually every formation in Ukraine larger than the regimental level seems to be operating at half of their normal authorized strength (i.e. rifle companies with ~50 men instead of the 100+ they would normally have), they probably are.
>Russia lost this war on the very day it began because their goals were based on complete fantasy.
Versus the Ukrainian goal of fighting "to the last Ukrainian" until they regain their 1991 borders?
The ukies have been given a very simple choice by the russians, die fighting or die at the hands of their occupiers.
If they give up, their language, culture and history will cease to exist. They will be forced out of thier homes and replaced woth settlers from the far east. Thier children will be taken from them and transported deep into the Russian interior, never to be seen again amd they themselves will be beaten, raped and eventually killed by thier self proclaimed masters
Facing all of that, why wouldn't they fight to the end?
>or die at the hands of their occupiers.
You really think that Russia is going to genocide Ukrainians in an occupation? You sound like the homosexuals who truly believed that Mike Pence would electroshock them into being straight if Trump got elected.

>On 17 March 2023, following an investigation of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, and Maria Lvova-Belova, Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights, alleging responsibility for the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer of children during the Russo-Ukrainian War.[1] The warrant against Putin is the first against the leader of a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.[2] >The United Nations commission of inquiry characterized the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russian forces as a war crime.[28] Several countries officially recognized the ongoing events in Ukraine as a genocide perpetrated by Russian forces.
Yes it is Reddit narratives. I remember when Russia first took Crimea years ago and on reddit reading everyone discussing how they would genocide the Tatars like they did in Stalin times. This is despite Russia has millions of Tatars and their own republic. It hasn't got any better, they just live in a revolving door of lies before the truth can set old ones.

I think they lost because their logistics were/are giga shit and on top of that they started in winter
Ukraine was a territory that could have been rolled up cleverly with soft power retaining the demographics and infra. Instead it’s slowly turning into an empty rectangle in the middle of Europe.
That’s like if Russia would brainwash people in TX to secede and then have the US invade them, leaving TX in ruins. Even though the the US would eventually win this would be absolutely an L for America
Not the apt analogy. TX is an economic behemoth. It would be like... West Virginia leaving and then America flattening WV and it's own economy to get it back. Like, the prize is much much smaller.
Don't entirely undersell the economic and strategic value of Ukraine. It produces a lot of food and has increasingly large amounts of oil reserves found within its borders. It's also a vital strategic position for Russia.
Texas might not be apt, but neither is West Virginia.
Yes and Russia is not the US economically, either.
Ukraine had about 30% of the population of Russia. It had a pretty well educated, European population. I would say that UA is more important to RU than TX to US
>t could have been rolled up
absolute moronic hot take. Demographic doomerism is already a dead give away.
Ukranian nationalism is a sentiment going back several centuries with no dissipation, only growing stronger. This war is a culmination of it. Belarus is on the same trajectory btw just lagging behind. This is what makes muscovia seethe so hard as this huge breakaway is spelling the doom for their imperial construct as the independence and nationalism sentiment only spreads slowly more eastward as time goes on
>If this war was on Mybookie
Say, are there any betting pools out there on the outcome of the war? I'd put a grand on Ukraine if i could, seems like an easy way to make some money.
Ukraine just has to hold out until Putin is dead. Putin is not a young pup. Even if they 'lose' the moment Putin dies Russia will disintegrate into 20 wars and Ukraine will just be able to reclaim what was lost.
>their demographics will be permanently fricked thoughbeit)
You people will never learn. A large percentage of men were often killed in wars and it was not a problem. The problem is that modern women are not giving birth.
>The problem is that modern women are not giving birth.
Well the problem is that russian men would much rather have sex with other men than impregnate a russian woman
They've been doing that for a while now. BMP-2 stocks are nearly depleted. These numbers are almost two months old already and Russia has lost an additional 400 AFVs in that time period.
While I’m still pessimistic for the overall prospects of the war for the reasons

It is probably over half a million, the real problem with teh UKranian numbers is not that they are too high but that they are too low and conservative. Did you know the Russians have had to close a few prisons as the Russian prison population has plummeted due to losses in Ukraine? The Russian medical system is in a state of collapse as well with district hospitals with less than half the doctors they need (they are importing self certifying doctors from Africa). There are deliberate euthanasia policies now in Russia for multiple amputations and severe burns because they lack the plastic surgery and prosthetic expertise and surgeons . Tucker Carson may have been sniffing bread in Moscow but Russia is literally dying before our eyes. They are down to thrash at this point, what's amazing is the apcs are supposed to have reserves like the tanks and artillery did but with them it seems we are skipping ahead to chinese atvs. Stolen, unrepairable, picked over for export who knows. They had the same problem with T72s. Russia is visibly before our eyes running out of weapons it had vast stocks of. If you can make BMP3s and T90s or Su57s at will or even restore BMP2s and T72s then you don't use chinese ATVs and T62s. Russias collapse is far nearer than most posters here seem to realize perhaps deceived by Russian crowing and propaganda. Its a weak nation and had barely recovered from the utter mad max like collapse of the 1990s when their moronic marxist leninism ate itself. Russia is about to not pop or explode but deflate with a farting sound into a sequence of gangster drive by statelets

>the May 4th Victory day parade is just around the corner!
I just can't imagine any other country losing THAT much equipment against a neighbor that's meant to be so much weaker than them and the people not fricking forcing them to go home. The Russians are 100% hiding actual losses from their own people. Hell, even the Chinese would look at losses like this and be like 'Huh... maybe we should just reinforce what we have and sue for peace?'.
The small professional spearhead was smeared all over Kiev, kek. If they did limit themselves to that they would have straight out lost the war and not gotten any ground. it's kind of a chicken egg thing because without Soviet nostalgia they wouldn't have a desire for a large army and keep putting money into Soviet stockpiles to equip it or invade their neighbors for dumb reasons.
>If they had let him do his thing and turn the Russian army into a small modern and professional force they may have actually pulled off the Ukraine invasion
That's the point, they did that reform. It was their small professional force in 2022 and it got its shit kicked in. Hence the need to mobilize hundreds of thousands.
It took Russia 70 years to amass the stockpile they have. With their economy and industry being what it is today, it's an impossible task. The Russian army of the future will be smaller and lighter, totally incapable of waging a major war like this ever again.
Look at tank production. Most of the T-90Ms are just rebuilt T-90As. Hull production is absolute abysmal and as much as they talk about restarting T-80 production lines, there has been 0 movement. It's no better looking at BMP-3 and BMD-4 production.
It's going to be the best thing that ever happened to them. Forcing them out of their red army coma. They tried back in the late 2000's but stopped because the guy running it fired too many corrupt officers. If they had let him do his thing and turn the Russian army into a small modern and professional force they may have actually pulled off the Ukraine invasion.
You're very right that Russia should have followed through with the reforms to modernize and scale back the army, but I don't think it would have mattered for the war. Russia was never going to be able to modernize in the way they needed to, their strength has always been in their numbers. But now their numbers are failing, leaving them with nothing.
I'm waiting for the Ukrainians to begin laying waste to radar and Su-34 production. That's basically the only edge they have left, their ability to keep their airspace relatively locked down to anything larger than a drone. The moment they can't replace fighter losses (I know they can't already, but I'm talking about complete inability) all hell will break loose. They'll have to buy fighters from China.
Won't happen, production is located in Novosibirsk and is unlikely to be threatened even by long range drones.
Targeting and dismantling forward the forward Russian AD network will be Ukraine's best chance at allowing their F-16s to better deny and interdict their airspace against tactical aviation.
As long as Ukrainian fighters are forced to hug the ground and operate conservatively, there will be no chance of stopping the bombing.
>is just going to be a rolling coffin for its crew.
Who cares? Russia has a lot of people.
A lot of people, yes. But less and less skilled operators. And what's the point of an IFV if a single FPV drone disassembles it before it even enters combat, or if a single mine turns it into smithereens. It cannot be stressed enough how many of Russia's problems are due not just because of poor equipment, but because the men fighting are poor soldiers.
>It's going to be the best thing that ever happened to them. Forcing them out of their red army coma.
Is it now? Loosing their entire store of conventional weapons, armaments and trained personnel along with their economy, veto aty the UN and nuclear weapons? You'rea a fricking extreme optimist if you think Russia will still exist in a decade at the current rate of erasure.

I would avoid quoting the Ukrainian numbers for equipment losses, they are at best exaggerated, and at worst entirely fabricated. Use Oryx or Warspotting if you want something at least based in reality. However the current situation is dire regardless of what numbers you go by. Storage locations will most likely be depleted in 1-2 years, and then their army becomes a ticking time bomb before it needs to begin merging existing formations to generate quality forces.

Dude calm down, I'm literally on your side. The Ukrainian numbers are bullshit, that's all it is. But the Russian storage numbers were also bullshit.
The Covert Cabal audit of Russian storage put tanks at around 7000, with maybe another 2000 in indoor storage. Military Balance 2022 assessed the Russian army as having about 3500 tanks in service. Lets call the Russian army as having 12,500 tanks in total. Oryx puts Russian tank losses at around 3000, but of course that number will be higher, perhaps by as much as 1000. That would leave Russian storage as being down to around 4000 tanks. Funny how that perfectly lines up with a median between the most recent assessment of storage sites.
Imagaine not even knowing that teh Oryx site itself says its estimates on Russian losses are only a fraction of the actual Russian losses. Imagine being a smell Russian c**t posting shit for Putin for a pittance. Imagine being that worthless waste of fricking oxygen.

Take this with a grain of salt for a lot of reasons, but this count is also old, I think from October of 2023.
The numbers are current being recounted as it's believed that a lot of counted T-72s were actually T-62s. Also a large number of T-80s are T-80UDs using the diesel engine which does not have parts, rendering them unusable without engine replacement.
I'll look to see if any counts have been re done, but I don't think so.

You're full of shit though /k/. has gone over those numbers repeatedly and they have been confirmed over the courese of the war by the arrival of obsolete equipment like t62 and t54, the begging of ammunition from noth korea and the repeated mobilizations, as well as open source satellite imagery of whats;s been removed from Russian weapons dumps. But there s you the paid propagandists and you are shilling for fricking Putin like a c**t who has to automatically post your worthless bullshit FUD

Is completely true. They have repeatedly acted as great predictors for everything from further ,mobilizations after the initial phase of the war to the arrival of T54s. You are trying to cast doubt on them because that is your role as a Russian propagandist, or at least you are echoing exactly the behavior of one. You are the same poster concerned that Russia is going to 'inevitably win'; when in fact Russia has already lost and anyone with a brain observing this war knows that.

Again you are trying to muddy the waters with lies, the Ukrainian estimates of Russian losses are quite accurate. Don't drag poor old Oryxs site into your bullshit either. The Ukrainian figures are correct and they don't even include Russian wounded. Neither do they include desertions, fratricide, accidents, friendly fire etc
>This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here
https://www.oryxspioenkop.com/2022/02/attack-on-europe-documenting-equipment.html
So these figures are correct and just as Russian losses of in service APC/IFVs
s hit 100% we see golf carts appear. Again validating the Ukrainian numbers

There's also the fact that a vehicle may be dragged back to the mechs and repaired. Several times. Therefore, the same russian vehicle can be counted several times as a "loss" by Ukraine, without them knowing. Or they could be counting a chimera vehicle that was put together from working components of 2 other lost vehicles.
The "inflated" numbers when comparing reported losses to storage sites isn't just because of intentional propaganda, but is simply inevitable even when attempting honesty

>implying the ziggers are able to recover their busted vees in any real numbers
LMAO.
Imagaine not even knowing that teh Oryx site itself says its estimates on Russian losses are only a fraction of the actual Russian losses. Imagine being a smell Russian c**t posting shit for Putin for a pittance. Imagine being that worthless waste of fricking oxygen.
It was an amazing stockpile way back when, and numbers were a big deal then. Read the DOD summary of 1985: https://apps.dtic.mil/sti/tr/pdf/ADA152969.pdf

>Russia
the USSR, you mean. Russia without Ukraine will never be more than a regional power. This is a big part of Brzezinski's postsoviet doctrine, all you need to do is drive a wedge between Russia and Ukraine and Russia becomes a problem only for the countries which border it. They know it too hence why Putin delivers speech after speech saying Ukraine doesn't real because the existence of the Ukrainian national identity is a gaping wound in Russian imperial ambition. The mixture of natural and human resources that left le Russkiy Mir with Ukraine was devastating for their military and basically every industry aside from mineral extraction. And even that was under threat by 2012 with Ukrainian petrochemical resources being developed in Donbass.

By Russia's own acknowledgements they've been able to do a base of 20-30k recruited per month plus something like 200k from the each of the spring/fall conscription waves. And i'm not sure those number include prisoners given a choice to lighten their sentence. If the 20-30k is accurate that alone is enough for them to increase their force total (remember the Ukraine daily update number includes critically wounded not just dead, and i'm not sure Russia would actually care enough not to send someone back in if they don't die)
Unironically, if the Russians lose enough BMP-2s that they are forced to field a plurality of BMP-1s that's gonna be a huge degradation of their assault capabilities. For all we laugh about the 2A42/2A72 guns and their inaccuracy, their rate of fire up close is daunting to go up against and will keep heads down. The 2A28 can't hit the broadside of a barn and lacks the volume of fire to keep heads down. If even competent groupings are forced to be equipped with only BMP-1s, Russian offensive capabilities will suffer and they'll likely sustain more casualties when assaulting.
Here fren. Demonstration of the gun.
The ammo expenditure of this wobbly stream seems self-defeating, but it definitely looks like a good psychological weapon. For the 1-2 minutes you have ammo...
Undoubtedly, the ammo stowage requirement for this moronic gun contributes to BMP-2 going poof easily. A more moderate weapon might allow proper ammo compartmentalization.

It's not that, we knew that Russia sent conscripts in on literally 24th February 2022. OP likely got this news from here: https://twitter.com/NOELreports/status/1782126099939426324/ >In the Amur region, Russia is restoring mothballed and even cannibalized BMP-1's, while also adding 675-sb3KDZ protection kits.
More about the 675-sb3KDZ protection kit here: https://en.defence-ua.com/weapon_and_tech/ukraines_military_captured_russias_bmp_2_equipped_with_modern_additional_protection_kit-3326.html >Overall, the 675-sb3KDZ is a set consisting of polymer panels that should protect the machine from the fire of large-caliber machine guns, as well as a set of anti-accumulative grilles. It is noted that the polymer panels have "positive buoyancy", ie the amphibious capabilities of the machine remain at the same level.
Could be that open hood = engine it shot/no working parts so its a hull that needs to be fully refurbished while the ones with the hoods close = Working/somewhat working engine.

Russia is fricked. It is this simple. The western democracies are committed to backing Ukraine and particularly the EU. They outmatch Russia economically (vastly) and are not going to stop supporting and financing Ukraine while economically penalizing Russia. QED Russia is fricked.

Oh, it's a good thing that the 4 oblasts that fighting is currently being conducted in are, by Russian law, rightfully annexed as per the totally democratic referenda, therefore Russian territory, therefore Russia proper, therefore it is legal to deploy conscripts there to defend the de jure motherland

As soon as the war "Ends" the Leftists in the west will push for massive trade deals with Russia like they did when China first opened up. Since the country is poor but very resource rich there will be a big push to move manufacturing there again for the cheap labor.
Remember pre 2014 the Leftists were super friends with Russia and nearly every trade deal with them benefitted Russia more than it did western nations.
If Russia loses this war they'll probably implode. If we can secure the noooks quickly we should partition Russia and balkanize it so its power is hsrder to misuse.
Also the US should grab far east Russia so China is threatened from the north and the global warming trade route through the arctic is permanently western.
Eastern Russia is incredibly underdeveloped. The US is also in a much better position to occupy a relatively undefended Vladivostok at the drop of a hat whike China's navy is pretty much in containment by Taiwan and Japan
I mean when it comes to occupying Vladivostok I think China would just load up their trucks and drive there directly via the highway that connects them directly,
No one is going to invest in Russia again. Not a hope. No one needs that shit and every etf and investment firm in the world got burned on Russian adrs just like they got screwed by the Russian gangsters under putin in the 90s. There is no further interest and no one is going to pour money on Russia to see it stolen by gangs or their next butt hurt petty dictator
Even the Chinese government bans anything connected to the Chinese government from investing in Russia. Even with putin gone no one will underwrite for a Russian adr again. That shit trades in places like india as a scam as part of the indian scambubble.
>push to move manufacturing to Russia for cheap labor
That'd be moronic even assuming Russia keeps it's pre 2014 borders they'll have a population roughly the size of Japan spread out over a little more area, and significantly less population than Mexico by that point.
Russia officially includes Crimea/Sevestopol, Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporhzia in their population statistics which would cut north of 10mil off their population once they are lost, then you factor in however many more people die before the war ends..... then you've gotta deal with the population is much older than it should be and far more fricked up from war injuries.
Nope.
Euros lost insane amount of money as russia nationalized practically everything that had been invested there.
They lost entire fleets of aircrafts. They lost entire factory complexes.
Billions of dollars worth of Investments were suddenly just ...
"Lol, it's our now!" t, russia
Who the frick is going to invest in Russia when they have time and time again showed that it is extremely risky at best, and absolute money down the drain at worst? Not a lot of people who want to hold on to their investments.
Russia is turbofricked even after the war ends. The only ones who will invest are China and maybe India, who can strongarm russia into "you will give your land and women" -kind of slave-deals in return of investments.
These are the same European governments who constantly signed trade deals with China who constantly fricks them over to steal tech from just to have them sign another trade deal later.
Very few things got nationalized. What happened more is that Westoid corporations self-sanctioned. Many of them sold but with the right to buy it back at a later time (such as McDonald's and Starbucks).
btw, all the brands are still being sold there.

They are interesting and very beautiful but also very mercenary. You can't ever show weakness to them (being in love is a weakness to them) or they will eat you alive. Try to keep things casual or friendly for as long as possible. Don't buy them a lot of stuff (gifts or expensive meals...weakness, again). Slavic women will eat even the most Chad Westoid for breakfast, so don't think you can beat them at their game.
Keep your virginity for your future wife. Visit churches and get a religious gf (virgin). That's how it used to be and still should be. They have Catholic, Lutheran, and even Baptist churches in Russia but Russian Orthodox is most common. >but I digress, what places (outside of the usual like St-Petersburg and Moscow) would you recommend visiting?
I only went to SPb. Start there because it is the most European of any Russian city and has a lot to offer for tourists. Moscow is more expensive and less traditional in character. Oh, and only go in the warm months. Karelia is outside of SPb and is really nice, from what I've seen pics of and heard, if you like beautiful forests and such.

Advice: >get a 3-yr multiple entry visa >open a Chase bank account prior to leaving the USA and put money in it >bring $100 in Rubles and the rest of your money in USD; crisp, undamaged $20s, $50s, or $100s. >once you get to Russia, open a Ruble account and a Euro account at Raiffeisen or some other unsanctioned bank that is still in SWIFT. While you are at the bank branch, get a debit card, download the Raiffeisen app, and immediately exchange and deposit all of your cash. Then use your card from that point on. Raiffeisen rapes you on the EUR/RUB spread but it's the best bank. Lots of locations, they will open a US citizen an account (and issue a debit card) in 20 minutes, you can use a US VOIP phone number for their SMS verification, and you can call their call center via their app (VOIP; other banks make you call a Russian phone number) >using your Chase app, do an international wire transfer to your Russian bank account. Once you confirm that you got the money in your Russian bank account, you will no longer need to bring spending cash (still bring emergency cash). >once you are there, get a Russian SIM card. It only costs a few bucks and makes your life a lot easier. >download the YandexGo app so you can get a rideshare the moment you exit the airport (using the cash option) >don't break any Russian laws and be polite.
Travel:
The only airline that you can get from the USA to Russia is Turkish airlines but be prepared to pay through the nose. The cheaper option, which is slightly more adventurous, is to fly from the USA to Tallinn, Estonia (first cheap) and then take a train to the Russian border, cross the border, and then take a train to SPb. This will take you another day of traveling but it will save you $2K round trip. The TripAdvisor Russia forum is a good place for help and even

Easier is to take a bus/shuttle from Tallinn, which will take you to the border, which you cross by walking, then another bus waiting will pick you up and get you to st peterburg. BalticShuttle and Luxexpress offer this as full service. Compared to turkey flights its dirt cheap.

I feel like if Russia goes through with the Kharkiv offensive they may seriously put their entire army at risk.
Whether it succeeds or not, you just know they are going to lose an insane amount of armor and by all accounts their reserves are approaching critical levels.
they've been using MT-LBs as APCs for almost a year now, this is actually less bad than that IMO. Those things are barely better armored than a pickup. But better than using Chinese golf carts as assault vehicles.
>Russia is making money hand over fist selling oil to the PRC and India.

Russia collapsing is in fact a propaganda cope. Rather it’s on a timer. The West feared a severe energy supply shock so they let Russia energy exports to continue — and being a petrostate energy is the majority of Russia’s GDP and has been paying for the war. However, the European energy market — what this war is about — has been mostly lost. China and other places simply can’t replace the revenue lost in Russia. The cash built up selling to Europe is now being depleted. Sanctions have furthermore accelerated that wealth depletion by forcing Russia pay premiums to evade them. There will come a point in the not-too-distant future in which Putin will be forced to stop due to financial strain. Putin does seem committed if the 2024 defense budget of $350b is real, but he simply can’t keep spending like that for a long time.
There were conscripts in Ukraine since day 1 kek.
Did you not hear the mother's seething about it. And when you're there, they force you to sign a contract or you sit in a room with no food or toilet for a week till you do sign.
Ukraine's state isn't even as bad as it was post WW2, and by using it as a cheap agricultural investment it's hoped the US can deflate some of its prices the way it did making the same investments into Germany post-war.
If no ethnic Ukranian wants that land anymore, we'll buy it for ourselves on the cheap.
Kek, Ukrainian wheat is on the verge of being banned in the EU due to farmer's protests and it is not allowed in the USA.
If you think that this agrarian fctansy of yours will entice millions of Ukrainians to come back and keep millions of Ukrainians from leavings (as they have been doing nonstop for decades, then you are insane.
It doesn't matter if a single ethnic Ukranian still exists by the time this war is over. So long as Crimea is under NATO control and we can hit your home with an artillery shell and plow a quarter of their fields with Poles, it's a good investment for us.
This isn't even new, this homosexual is one of those losers who gets really obsessed with Russia for being "trad" and "based" because he watched a few youtube videos and thinks everyone who lives there is a platinum blonde blue eyed Christian that will make dinner for him and not complain.

I think they lost because their logistics were/are giga shit and on top of that they started in winter
>I think they lost because their logistics were/are giga shit and on top of that they started in winter
A nearly all of their logistics is based on trains. Why the hell did Russia think that all of the railroads would be cleared from Russia to their objectives day one?
Did "winning" in WW2 and then completely ignoring that lend lease allowed them to push west cripple them mentally when it came to logistics?
I honestly want to see what would have happened if the cold war went hot in the 80s and the soviets tried to rush west. Do they make in 20km into west Germany and then get stuck?

They can't keep it up forever but they aren't running out of steam any time soon.
>I'm not emotional at all.
You sound very convincing~ I don't think you've even convinced yourself. A quick look at Russian depot figures versus loss rates indicates they're capped at among 3 years more best case for them, more likely 2; at which point they drop to factory outputs which are so far also semi-cappable.
You're assuming they don't get supplies from places like China or NK. And yes, your own estimate says they can keep it up for two more years at this tempo. Which proves my point.
Look, guys, I don't want Russia to win either, and the fact they didn't steamroll Ukraine in the first place has shown they're not the power everyone thought they were, BUT.
Why do so many people think Russia is going to completely collapse, or be forced out of Donbas and Crimea and whatnot. They can win this shit on pure attrition, since Ukraine's going to run out of men first. It'd be absolutely humiliating, but I think people are being unrealistic in thinking Ukraine is winning outright. Best case scenario for them is a White Peace, barring any civil war in Russia.
>Russia lost this war on the very day it began because their goals were based on complete fantasy
I think they lost because their logistics were/are giga shit and on top of that they started in winter
He is correct in the sense that their goal was the seizure of the state of Ukraine so they lost the war when they got booted from the North. Now they are just grinding out consolation prizes in the south. >Your consolation prize is a soviet era steel mill that has been blown to pieces
Because once the RuAF can no longer operate and IF Ukraine can wrest air control there is no way Russia is capable of supporting its defenses in either region. The units stationed there will starve to death as every ammo or expired ration shipment is sent to the bottom of the Black Sea.
Which of course posits the west giving Ukraine enough airpower to do so before it runs out of personnel.
Air superiority can be wrested by giving Ukraine modern 4th gens like F-15s. Practically every Russian movement is tracked by US satellite and relayed to Ukrainian intelligence.
If NATO was in it to win it, it would've been training a large-scale Ukrainian Air Force, or even did that trick the Soviets did in Nam' and just have the "flight trainers" finish off the sickly RuAF from Krasnodar Krai.
Bud. That's a 500 billion dollar proposal and the lead times on those jets would be 5+ years.
Like we can talk about fantastic scenarios where Ukraine gets the shit it needs or we can talk about whats actually going on and what will likely happen.
They are not going to collapse, that’s delusional. But the fact that this has been going on for 2 years now, and they have gained nothing, but lost significant amounts of personnel (not 500k but certainly above 100k), as well as ruined a country they should have and could have absorbed with soft power, puts this as a huge L.
UA taking back Crimea, RU collapsing are both unrealistic copes. UA should have sued for a ceasefire early on, but this is definitely a win for US.
Russia hasn't really been pushing for territory, it's been waging a war of attrition. I've been saying it since the war for Bakhmut started when I noticed Russia was repeating tactics they were doing in WW2.
Russia has not been pushing for huge territorial gains since the very start of the war. They're waging a war of attrition trying to grind down the Ukrainian army and its been working. They won't start advancing until there's a collapse in the Ukrainian lines, I think we are months away from that.
Imagine me being here for almost 2 years trying to explain to this delusional board that despite the headlines, Ukraine was losing. Here we are and this board is FINALLY starting to admit Ukraine has problems.
I also don't believe Russia has had 500k killed, that's Ukrainian propaganda. I reckon Mediazona is correct and they estimate about 70-80k based on death registrations. This is a pro-Ukrainian source too btw.
I am the poster you responded to. You are presenting the Russian side of cope. The “we never wanted to make territorial gains”, and “we haven’t sent the real troops yet”.
We are solidly within the 3rd year of the war, and Russia is not really moving the needle. Is their hope for UA to sign off on becoming in the RU zone of influence completely, a-la BY? Because that’s not happening. There are plenty of hardcore Russian hating Ukies in the west around Lviv and Ivanofrankovsk that will not go for it and the rest will not be to keen either after 2 years of warfare.
Their referendums in Kherson have absolutely shown that they want territorial expansion. From listening to Russian speaking media, anything without de-facto Russian governance of Kharkov and Odessa is going to be considered a loss. And rightly so
Who is going to drive them out of there? UAF? Unlikely. It’s most likely lost to Ukraine for the foreseeable future.

Russia has not made any general advance since the beginning of the war. They've been applying pressure to bog down Ukrainian forces and force movement of forces around the front. Russia has been slowly building their forces, I think they plan to have 1.5 million by mid this year? It's a complete misrepresentation of the war to say Ukraine has been holding them back for 2 years when Russia hasn't been on the offensive in any serious state since the first few months of the war.
I think this war ends with Kharkov and Odessa back in Russian hands.
Yeah, I am familiar with all of the talking points. I will believe it when I see it materializing. The truth is that much like UA has a problem with materiel, esp. ammunition, RU has a terrible disadvantage with C4I equipment, and that gap does not seem to close. Their lack of advancement is due to that, not anything else.

Russia has no business losing this war so completely.
...But they will.

Their loss is mainly because of expectations. Internally, Russians will no that 3 (4? 5?) years of war and no control ver at least half of Ukraine, incl. Kharkov, Odessa and Zap - this was not a win. Now they will try to spin it as one to the ears of malcontents in the west, but doing that internally will be much harder.

It would have been a victory for the history books if Zelensky capitulated from the beginning, a country conquered in hours.
Problem for Russia is that they let their cultural corruption rot their system from inside out during peace time. This stuff takes years to fix, as we are seeing. So they entered the war completely unprepared for it. If they had spent time fixing their military first it would have set off alarm bells something was up. They invaded completely unprepared, no choice.
Russia has one thing going really well for it and that's military academies, which are top notch. it's the one thing Russia takes care of and doesnt allow to rot out during peace time.

The corruption there is not just “cultural”. It’s very real. UA and RU are both very corrupt countries. Saying “they couldn’t have fixed it before invading” is also cope. They absolutely expected the Ukies to fold quickly. UA didn’t, but all of the ghost of Kiev garbage was just that -BS. They stopped the initial attack, but it did cost them. They had major wins RU was not prepared for the resistance they put, and for the logistics of fighting an actual war. RU was also significantly understaffed for it.

How is it not obvious yet that everything the Ukrainians and Western media have said was a complete lie for 2 years? Ukraine is suffering dramatic manpower shortages, the country is almost in complete power outages. This board was predicting this shit to happen to Russia by now. Everything was wrong.
This is not the first time I've lived through this level of complete delusion. I was trying to tell people 20 years ago the War on Terror was not going well. But back then it was the Republican rural demographic that was pro-war and they were showing me news headline after news headline that US forces were winning trying to tell me eventually all these countries will have pro-American democracies. It's astounding I'm seeing this happen again. Except now it's Democrat city types that are jingoist

>They can win this shit on pure attrition, since Ukraine's going to run out of men first.
RusBlack folk wish. As it stands, Russia loses disproportionately massive amounts of men and equipment in just about every move they make, and they are ill-suited to replacing much of either. Their demographic situation is shit, their industrial capabilities are nigh non-existent, their economy has completely shat the bed, and what's left of their military stockpiles is all either useless antediluvian technology, like BMP-1's, or rusted to the point of being inoperable. Despite these rather obvious problems, Russian tactics remain dependent on meatwave assaults, meaning the rate of attrition for the russian side is likely to remain constant, if not increase due to the depletion of any decent material. Ukraine on the other hand seems intent on maximizing russian deaths while minimizing their own, a position well supported by their more defensive posture and the supply of western equipment and weaponry. If things continue as they have been (and i see very little indication that they won't) the ukies are absolutely going to win a war of attrition as they seem to be the only ones who try to conserve their forces in any way.

Putin in the political lynchpin in Russia in as much as no one wants to change his diaper, because cleaning his mess will involve being perceived as weak, and so when he dies, any prospective successor who is serious about his own success will be gunning to be the second or third new Tzar, not the next new tzar. Perhaps the only faction with any desire to grasp the purple right off the hop are the Kadyrovites, as the regime in Chechnya lives and dies on the dhimmi paid by Moscow, and grasping the purple is probably the only way that Ramzan can ensure continuity in the tribute payments.

You are so incredebly fricking stupid that I urge you to donate your brain so the medical research can have a breakthrough on curing moronation and you could do literally one thing in your life that is a net positive on the world.
Just cause the armored frontal assault golf cart needs to move through the rear to get to the front, doesn't mean they are not literally cargo culting it.
You're seeing footage of them being destroyed without context. The fact that they lost ~300 armored vics around one village in one month suggests they don't have an armor shortage. Imo the memecart videos are of FPV's fricking their second echelon units. >Guys getting cycled from positions etc
Plenty of footage of the golf carts and bikes being blown up by artillery on bombed out fields, driving from one side to other.
theré is at least one where it gets blown up near a river, which is LITERRALY the dividing line between the two fronts.
So no, russians are not americans with funny accents, they are literally fricking stupid and while they are not "running out" of armored vehicles, 2nd most superpower going from bmp3 and shit to bmp1, mtlb and now transporting troops on the front line in a golf cart does say that the fabled endless soviet stockpiles are indeed not endless.
Also reminder, the only bmp factory still flooded since russia is collapsing and can't maintain dams.
So...your European or American and just decided to holiday in St.Pydorsberg and now you have bolted on a Russian girlfriend who is 'trad'. Doubt is creeping in anon.

And the suspiciously missing vast funds gotten as reprecrussion from WW2 had NOTHING to do with this "great, functional economy" that was completely crushed and destroyed by shooting a few rockets, right?
Those funds famously ended when this little thing called "the iron curtain" got pulled across half of Europe.
>nuh uh economy wasn't funding itself on slave labour and war reprecussion funds because the funds dissapeared literally overnight when the wall fell. Nuh uh, economy where luxury items like stockings, pineapple, banan and sausage and later basic electronics were in huge shoirtage or extremely poorly made was in fact the strongest in the world.
Literally first hand accounts, surviving relics and literally talking to anyone not a tankie proves you wrong.
Whatever you say is in fact tankie historically revisionist bs, which is a common narrative nowardays to make russia stronk, and you are stupid basically.
No. It's not Russia stronk because it's a failed system. Saying the system worked for a period is not a value based judgement or an endorsement of the system (since the statement is made in the context of "the system failed). it's a fact based assessment and nothing more.
Not everyone goes through life feeling the need to treat shit like sports fanaticism.
The opposite. That was when they lifted a lot of State repression and removed legacy from Stalin's paranoia. It precipitated the collapse of the USSR and perestroika in the 90's was far worse with the risk of malnutrition from poverty returning.
That being said, the economic system didn't work and the prosperity of USSR entirely relied on the price of oil which was 90% of government revenue. If it wasn't for oil they would have had nothing, no military industry, no space industry, no medical industry. Everything they could accomplish could be traced to the price of oil allowing them to trade in international market to import.
And the suspiciously missing vast funds gotten as reprecrussion from WW2 had NOTHING to do with this "great, functional economy" that was completely crushed and destroyed by shooting a few rockets, right?
>No, it's fricking moronic. Had Germans and Japanese had that attitude, there would be no Germans or Japanese today.
the ukrainians are NOT in the same position that the germans and japanese were in when they surrendered
It's over. Russia is finished. They ran out of missiles, men, tanks. Their economy is sanctioned. they're mothballing BMP-1's. Ukraine will be in Crimea this Summer and Moscow by Winter.
>Is this the power of western might?
I mean, has NATO ever spent so much and accomplished so little? NATO has spent more than the 20 years in Afghanistan and the result will be the same: humiliating defeat and lots of wasted money and lives.
NATO didn't just lose Afghanistan. Spent $8 trillion losing the entire middle east to Iran and the Taliban. Iran was contained to its borders 20 years ago and now it's the biggest player.
Russia will eventually win in Ukraine despite the cost
>Russia will eventually win in Ukraine despite the cost
Yes Russia will triumph economically with its tiny dying dictatorship over the EU, NATO and the G7. The magic of pydornomics!
I'm not sure you're aware of the state of the EU but that is dying. Germany is rapidly de-industrializing, there's nothing left. At least Russia has energy and resources to export.

Oryx and BBC are not conservative, both are propaganda. It was a fricking moronic idea having open source count for Russian losses, it was obviously going to get filled will mentally ill redditors inflating things for morale.
Mediazona is likely the most accurate since they use death registrations. It's pro-Ukraine too so there is no incentive for them to lie for Russia's favor. They estimate something like 70k-80k. If Russia was losing hundreds of thousands they would have had to do conscriptions. So far they can rely on offering contracts, they get enough volunteers.

The way to get out and somewhat save face is the following

Their military capacity has been erased and its now down to the dregs, the Russian economy has also been erased something Russian propagandists dread being mentioned.
Too long didnt read.
Anti-commie crusade worldwide soon.
>the new banner of nato.
NATO and the EU do not want or need Russia.
New pasta?
Bruh, I don't think anybody's rooting for them. But if you think the Ukrainian official numbers are anything close to reality, you're fricking stupid.
>if you think the Ukrainian official numbers are anything close to reality, you're fricking stupid
If you think they're somehow especially fake, then you're delusional
peruvian here, we are not that bad 🙁
>Russia WILL be entirely disarmed of [...] and nuclear weapons
This could be an issue.
Offer $10 million and a US passport to anyone who turns in a nuclear device, no questions asked.
Russia lost this war on the very day it began because their goals were based on complete fantasy.
What's going on now is basically the result of Putin living in complete denial of the situation.
Versus the Ukrainian goal of fighting "to the last Ukrainian" until they regain their 1991 borders?
defending your country to the last man is reasonable
About to tell us that the mass graves and forced migration are just propaganda too, by any chance?
It's as real as Trump putting little Mexican kids in cages.
so enlighten us what happaned in bucha homosexual. what exactly was going on in the occupied kharkiv regions. whats up with the hundreds of thousands of kids getting deported and forced into zigger nests deep inside vatnikstan
Bucha was swamp gas. No such place, silly HATO.
>On 17 March 2023, following an investigation of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, and Maria Lvova-Belova, Russian Commissioner for Children's Rights, alleging responsibility for the war crime of unlawful deportation and transfer of children during the Russo-Ukrainian War.[1] The warrant against Putin is the first against the leader of a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council.[2]
>The United Nations commission of inquiry characterized the deportation of Ukrainian children by Russian forces as a war crime.[28] Several countries officially recognized the ongoing events in Ukraine as a genocide perpetrated by Russian forces.
They've already tried it once, and Puton has repeatedly and publically declared his intent to try again
Putin doesn’t want to genocide the Ukrainians. He wants to conquer Ukraine and turn it into part of Russia. He didnt expect this war
At the most charitable interpretation, he has expressed intent to destroy their cultural identity and self-rule.
Oh, no doubt about that, especially the last one. But when people hear Putin wants to genocide the Ukies, that’s not what being understood, obviously, so it comes across as a obvious, purposeful lie
>Yes, it might be genocide
>But it's not what people think when they hear the word genocide
>So when you think about it, isn't that a lie?
No.
>Russia lost this war on the very day it began because their goals were based on complete fantasy
I think they lost because their logistics were/are giga shit and on top of that they started in winter
Yeah, problem with that is that Ukraine and the West are perfectly willing and able to spam stuff that massacres shitboxes until it's over.
>their demographics will be permanently fricked thoughbeit)
Yes but the Ukraine's demographic situation is way worse than Russia's.
Yes but they aren't the ones desperately larping as a superpower. Their goal is to simply live free from Russia
This is what makes muscovia seethe so hard as this huge breakaway is spelling the doom for their imperial construct as the independence and nationalism sentiment only spreads slowly more eastward as time goes on
Are you from the region?
Objectively false.
Ukraine is 98% white.
Russia went from 4% Muslim to 20% in only 24 years. In 15 it will be 40% Muslim
>If this war was on Mybookie
Say, are there any betting pools out there on the outcome of the war? I'd put a grand on Ukraine if i could, seems like an easy way to make some money.
Ukraine just has to hold out until Putin is dead. Putin is not a young pup. Even if they 'lose' the moment Putin dies Russia will disintegrate into 20 wars and Ukraine will just be able to reclaim what was lost.
>their demographics will be permanently fricked thoughbeit
Depends on what you deem important, they'll just import more migrants
>their demographics will be permanently fricked thoughbeit)
You people will never learn. A large percentage of men were often killed in wars and it was not a problem. The problem is that modern women are not giving birth.
>The problem is that modern women are not giving birth.
Well the problem is that russian men would much rather have sex with other men than impregnate a russian woman
They've been doing that for a while now. BMP-2 stocks are nearly depleted. These numbers are almost two months old already and Russia has lost an additional 400 AFVs in that time period.
While I’m still pessimistic for the overall prospects of the war for the reasons
outlined, my god, how are the Russians going to rebuild their army after this? With Ukraine they can sustain the conflict despite that because Ukraine is also struggling with its armored vehicles (own production minimal, assistance has got stingy), but imagine trying to start a new war with bare handful of newly-made tanks and APCs while all older stock is either destroyed or early cold war -tier rusty shitboxes.

Fun fact all media claiming the Russian economy is ok/growing/just fine are basing their numbers on those of the IMF who get their numbers from....the Kremlin. Russia has not changed the laws of economics and is cannibalizing itself financially.
>Russia has not changed the laws of economics
They keep trying, though. Never works out for them.

Bumping slid numbers
Here's to hoping as we get nearer to the victory day parade they push harder and with less success and we can celebrate 500k military personnel that day.
I don't want to accept that this is true because the amusement i'll have when it happens will be such a nice surprise.
>I don't want to accept that this is true
I don;t even think there will be a 'moment' you can point at and say 'There that's when Russia imploded' because like I saw its deflating with a wet farting sound and just dying. Goodbye Russia, but not with a bang but a whimper.
>. Goodbye Russia, but not with a bang but a whimper.
He wa promised here a slow death and he got it. Not so smart now are you you fat commie c**t? Post guns dead fat commie c**t.
Uncle ruckus finally got his wish.
Speaking of wet fart sounds, the May 4th Victory day parade is just around the corner!
You think we see any golf carts? Even a single tank?
Are the down to africa-tier technicals?
Or are they just going to declare "security threat" and cancel the whole thing?
I hope to christ we see the MLTBs with the naval AA guns on them.
Most cities have actually cancelled their celebrations due to drone fears, yes.
They are a bit moronic though. Ukraine does not actually see a bunch of babushkas attending parades as a desired target. Go figure.
Yeah but you don't want to tell people that. The chance to do something in their daily life that'll make them put more stock into the 'threat' of Ukraine against the Russian people? That's worth a ton to the Russian government.
I think this year''s might be the biggest LARP ever
all those 'new divisions' they said they built, are gonna parade and then get loaded up onto trains or whatever and shipped off to ukraine, like the fricking wwii parade
god that would be so funny
>the May 4th Victory day parade is just around the corner!
Jesus fricking christ those numbers are grim...
Welcome to the Russpocalypse, enjoy your stay.
>+950
A THOUSAND MORE WILL DIE EACH DAY
The small professional spearhead was smeared all over Kiev, kek.
>Won't happen, production is located in Novosibirsk and is unlikely to be threatened even by long range drones.
Considering that the Israelis have successfully smuggled huge bombs into Iranian nuclear plants inside pieces of machinery, I wouldn't be so quick to judge anon.
>I would avoid quoting the Ukrainian numbers for equipment losses, they are at best exaggerated, and at worst entirely fabricated. Use Oryx or Warspotting if you want something at least based in reality. However the current situation is dire regardless of what numbers you go by.
How dare I question the sacred Ukrainian battlefield reports, forgive me.
How do you explain Russian tank storage decreasing at a number that lines up fairly well with the Oryx numbers being around a 70% estimate? Guess what you can't. Because Ukraine overinflated their numbers just in the same way the Russians do. It's a war, people lie. You assume I'm against Ukraine, why? I have just pointed out that Russia most likely has 2 years left of tanks in storage, where is the pro Russian message there?
And here are the Oryx losses compared to the Military Balance 2022.
Don't forget 87 T-64s and 120 T-62s, this also assumes Oryx gets 100% of losses
I accounted for that, I quoted 3000 Oryx losses to cover the T-62s which weren't included here. I'm just working with the graphs I've robbed from Twitter, although I should probably compile something myself for when the schizos come out. I don't know what it is about questioning government data that angers them so much.
Did you count their losses? Personally?
Total Russian casualties are probably nearing 400k total with somewhere between 100-200k of those being dead.
I have a fairly accurate vision of the losses from the daily footage I jerk off to, but there's no data on actual conscriptions and deployments. Just loads of Russians missing and their families not getting Ladas.
>ou assume I'm against Ukraine, why? I have just pointed out that Russia most likely has 2 years left of tanks in storage, where is the pro Russian message there?
The Ukraine war was supposed to be over now, so that America can open up a new war against Iran in 2025. Instead it drags on and America might be forced to chose between Israel and Ukraine.
america won 2 world wars, they'll be fine as long as you start it
You're probably replying to teenagers or /misc/yps attempting to poison the well
Good post though
Yeah I know. But it goes both ways, if I just ignore it someone that doesn't know any better will just building their own opinion from it. 5 minutes of my time to try and counter disinfo seems like a decent trade off.
i do wonder if the images estimating how many tanks are left are of high enough quality to give a good idea of what model of tank they are. It's all well and good to say Russia has a shit ton of tanks left but if those are mostly T-55/62/64 then is it really going to matter?
Take this with a grain of salt for a lot of reasons, but this count is also old, I think from October of 2023.
The numbers are current being recounted as it's believed that a lot of counted T-72s were actually T-62s. Also a large number of T-80s are T-80UDs using the diesel engine which does not have parts, rendering them unusable without engine replacement.
I'll look to see if any counts have been re done, but I don't think so.
>the diesel engine which does not have parts
I thought the soviets only ever used a single engine for tanks apart from the turbine.
ya the main issue is that the company that makes that engine and the factory it's made at is in Kharkiv.
T80UD-yes. Everything else-hell no. V2 family was made literally everywhere. Right now, ChTZ, BarnaulTransmash, and UDMZ are making the OG 1930s V2
The T-64 had an opposed-piston engine
Aren't the engines for the T55/62 and 72/90 just further evolutions of the original T-34 engine?
Yep. I know absolutely frick all about engines, and I don't even know what I'm looking at, but if you look at the red doohickeys on top they have those same three oval whatsits, and the same six tube-looking things on the side. I suspect they all burn dizzy-fume water to go vroom vroom, though I'm not positive. But they're all derivatives of the same 1930s design.
Tanks are obsolete anyway. Russians are just using up their supply until their drone programs take off.
Russians are taking vehicles from Belarus and there's also the separatist republics vehicles they started the war as and vehicles from mercenary organizations. It's not all Russian stuff taken from depots thats why the Ukrainian numbers are that high.
>there's also the separatist republics vehicles
The majority of which were Russian.
>Dude calm down, I'm literally on your side. The Ukrainian numbers are bullshit,
Except they are not, in fact the Ukrainian daily reports of Russian are very accurate. I don;t know what you mean by side either to me you seem like a rat bag of Russian 'talking points'. The Ukranian tallys of Russian losses have been comprehesively discussed presviously and
>You're full of shit though /k/. has gone over those numbers repeatedly and they have been confirmed over the courese of the war by the arrival of obsolete equipment like t62 and t54, the begging of ammunition from noth korea and the repeated mobilizations, as well as open source satellite imagery of whats;s been removed from Russian weapons dumps.
>How dare I question the sacred Ukrainian battlefield reports, forgive me.
No you are not forgiven. No one spreading kremlin talking points should be forgiven now or even years after this war ends.

Here's the Russian cope about it. The Cold War was quite a time.
>ML-20 5
Jesus Christ, what? Is this counting museum pieces?
>Russia
the USSR, you mean.
>Hull production is absolute abysmal
Tank hull production doesn't exist since around 1998. The "production" you see is deep refurbishment from storage.

Like we have with the mopeds and golf carts now. Its okay russia is doing frontal assaults with them since western nations use them for light transport far away from the front line, so russia truly is a superpower still.
Well the T-14 was too expensive, so an 'austerity' platform could be a solution with its heavier T-62 Turtle's

An IFV is an IFV.
This has been proven totally false by the extreme disparity in quality between modern Western designs and legacy Soviet designs.
An IFV without ERA or better yet, APS is just going to be a rolling coffin for its crew.

Duhh durrr duih dhurr post about fricking israelites and israel fricking spasti8c brown third world fricking maggot? You know who's next after Russia? Not because of fricking israelites of israel but because it fricked around and sent weapons to a war in Europe to kill Europeans? That's right Iran. Evbery fricking mullah and every single one of your precious Iranian sponsored little social clubs that have been spamming for the Kremlin are going to be killed, including your cluster of morons in Damascus and all you can do is wring your hands and post about fricking israelites when you have a risen remilitarizing Europe staring down your moronic brown neck

In what way is this relevant?
https://www.nato.int/nato_static_fl2014/assets/pdf/2023/7/pdf/230707-def-exp-2023-en.pdf
Did you count that increase? Personally?
>I trust the rule of law in Russia
It's not that, we knew that Russia sent conscripts in on literally 24th February 2022. Denying it is on the same level as denying Bucha or the bombing of the event center in Mariupol with "CHILDREN" written outside. He can only say it here because there's nobody in the same room as him to hit him or scream at him to leave.
>thinking Russia obeys its own laws
Idiot
Also, you're mistaking general conscription for selective conscription, which they have been doing since the Kyiv Feint
Pidor says after a day where a 60 billion dollar support bill to Ukraine passes.
It's not just Ukraine. Israel and Taiwan are included. I really doubt a lot of it is going to Ukraine when the current thing (tm) is Israel
source: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/04/20/us/politics/ukraine-aid-bill-gaza-johnson.html
No the whole thing was over 90 billion, Ukraine is getting 61
And of that 90 billion the US MIC/overseas activities is getting about half the total.
Read your own source, moron. 61 billion to Ukraine.
>mothballed
as if. they've straight up started taking the shit that was left outside and picked apart for 30 years just to get ANYTHING out there.
OP likely got this news from here: https://twitter.com/NOELreports/status/1782126099939426324/
>In the Amur region, Russia is restoring mothballed and even cannibalized BMP-1's, while also adding 675-sb3KDZ protection kits.
More about the 675-sb3KDZ protection kit here: https://en.defence-ua.com/weapon_and_tech/ukraines_military_captured_russias_bmp_2_equipped_with_modern_additional_protection_kit-3326.html
>Overall, the 675-sb3KDZ is a set consisting of polymer panels that should protect the machine from the fire of large-caliber machine guns, as well as a set of anti-accumulative grilles. It is noted that the polymer panels have "positive buoyancy", ie the amphibious capabilities of the machine remain at the same level.
Rusting in the fields.
why the frick did they left the hood open for the elements?
Could be that open hood = engine it shot/no working parts so its a hull that needs to be fully refurbished while the ones with the hoods close = Working/somewhat working engine.
I have doubts about the polymer addon plates being able to stop .50 or 14.5 AP but it does mean the sides will likely be immune to 7.62x54 and x51 AP
Polymer is a large category. Kevlar is a polymer.
theres 4 guys doing any work in this photo. how fast are they going to be churning these out
those photos are from Romania not Russia..dont believe NATO poopaganda my dear Shlomo..

>EU aid to Ukraine
What's that up to now anyway? And i mean actual aid that's been delivered not that bullshit the EU does where they count what they've promised to give in the future, which reminds me what happened to Germany pledging to increase military spending by 100~ billion.
>What's that up to now anyway?
Vast.

https://www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-against-ukraine/ukraine-support-tracker/
Russia is fricked. It is this simple. The western democracies are committed to backing Ukraine and particularly the EU. They outmatch Russia economically (vastly) and are not going to stop supporting and financing Ukraine while economically penalizing Russia. QED Russia is fricked.
>Frick em though
Germany just sent another Patriot and in general has sent a lot of useful gear. All the NATO states have and some non nato states too. Russia is fricked.
>Frick em though
Germany just discovered Russians trying to plant bombs in Germany. I expect they will change their tune.
for what reason? this sounds like tinfoil shit, dude. unless you mean Muslims who happen to be Russian nationals.
Why don't you just google "germany catches saboteurs" instead of asking stupid questions?
>I expect they will change their tune.
kek, yeah this ones it! the germs are a permanently neutered race
Isn't that convenient? Isn't russian law amazing?
>Isn't russian law amazing?
it's so flexible, its the wacky inflatable arm, failing tube man of law
The crazy thing about Russia is that there's a wacky inflatable arm, failing tube man who is now a wacky inflatable arm, failing tube unperson.
Reminds me of those really nasty compound fractures you see on vatniks from the odd drone strike with all kinds of bent and floppy happening

>war
Just for saying the W-word you have demonstrated a dearth of understanding re: the law.
Eh if Russia implodes China is just going to swing north and take all of eastern Russia. Nothing can really stop them from doing that.
Eastern Russia is incredibly underdeveloped. The US is also in a much better position to occupy a relatively undefended Vladivostok at the drop of a hat whike China's navy is pretty much in containment by Taiwan and Japan
I mean when it comes to occupying Vladivostok I think China would just load up their trucks and drive there directly via the highway that connects them directly,
>when Russia loses this war they'll probably implode.
not implode deflate with a wet fart sound and its already happening
No one is going to invest in Russia again. Not a hope. No one needs that shit and every etf and investment firm in the world got burned on Russian adrs just like they got screwed by the Russian gangsters under putin in the 90s. There is no further interest and no one is going to pour money on Russia to see it stolen by gangs or their next butt hurt petty dictator
Even the Chinese government bans anything connected to the Chinese government from investing in Russia. Even with putin gone no one will underwrite for a Russian adr again. That shit trades in places like india as a scam as part of the indian scambubble.
all that money will be invested in ukraine anyway, US wants west germany 2.0
>push to move manufacturing to Russia for cheap labor
Many of them sold but with the right to buy it back at a later time (such as McDonald's and Starbucks).
btw, all the brands are still being sold there.
t.American that just visited Russia
>t.American that just visited Russia
work related or holiday?
Holiday. US Citizens can get a 3-yr multiple entry tourist visa. I had a gf there at the time.
is russian pussy worth it?
t.virgin
but I digress, what places (outside of the usual like St-Petersburg and Moscow) would you recommend visiting?
homie, if you wanna lose your virginity, you can go to prostitutehouses in countries that aren't currently at war (Thailand, the Netherlands, etc.) and get a way better deal, and less AIDS.
I just want a relationship thankyouverymuch
How many Ruse-girls can I buy for $15k? I need maids for my Texas ranch.
Karelia is outside of SPb and is really nice, from what I've seen pics of and heard, if you like beautiful forests and such.
my dense as frick ass wont have any trouble with that, its how Ive managed to frick up every chance at dating Ive had till now
I know of at least 3 girls who had crushes/ tried to make advances on me without me noticing, sadly Ive lost contact with 2 and the 3rd has been taken for a while now, but we still get along
I'll keep all of that in mind though, thanks
Bro, go to a church near you, not in Russia.
Advice:
>get a 3-yr multiple entry visa
>open a Chase bank account prior to leaving the USA and put money in it
>bring $100 in Rubles and the rest of your money in USD; crisp, undamaged $20s, $50s, or $100s.
>once you get to Russia, open a Ruble account and a Euro account at Raiffeisen or some other unsanctioned bank that is still in SWIFT. While you are at the bank branch, get a debit card, download the Raiffeisen app, and immediately exchange and deposit all of your cash. Then use your card from that point on. Raiffeisen rapes you on the EUR/RUB spread but it's the best bank. Lots of locations, they will open a US citizen an account (and issue a debit card) in 20 minutes, you can use a US VOIP phone number for their SMS verification, and you can call their call center via their app (VOIP; other banks make you call a Russian phone number)
>using your Chase app, do an international wire transfer to your Russian bank account. Once you confirm that you got the money in your Russian bank account, you will no longer need to bring spending cash (still bring emergency cash).
>once you are there, get a Russian SIM card. It only costs a few bucks and makes your life a lot easier.
>download the YandexGo app so you can get a rideshare the moment you exit the airport (using the cash option)
>don't break any Russian laws and be polite.
The TripAdvisor Russia forum is a good place for help and even
.
Any more questions?
>fly from the USA to Tallinn, Estonia (first cheap) and then take a train to the Russian border, cross the border
Easier is to take a bus/shuttle from Tallinn, which will take you to the border, which you cross by walking, then another bus waiting will pick you up and get you to st peterburg. BalticShuttle and Luxexpress offer this as full service. Compared to turkey flights its dirt cheap.
How often are there buses/shuttle from Tallinn to the Russian border?
>How often are there buses/shuttle from Tallinn to the Russian border?
Balticshuttle goes 4x a day, you can google the schedule.
Its pretty much the only affordable way in/out of russia atm and huge amount of russians use this Tallinn and bus option.
>move manufacturing there
That requires a stable, friendly local government implementing sound policies that support such a move and ensure investor safety.
I'll leave it up to you to figure out how likely that's gonna be the case when the war ends with Russia collapsing.
>China openly spies against the US, constantly attacks it's cyber security, and is still a hostile foreign power.
>Yet we still do business with them.
If there is money to be made for the people at the top trade will still happen.
They really do have a treasure trove of stuff that's wasted on them.
>Russians don't deserve custody of Soviet technical gems
Wrong. Su-47 DESERVES to rust in a boneyard beside random crap, getting autumn leaves and seeds dropped all over it. Su-47 WANTS this.
Unironically want to form a /k/ommando team to steal her and give her a more suitable resting place. What did my Berkut do to deserve this?
You just described a prompt for some excellent /k/ommando drawhomosexualry.
Unfortunately I'm working in something Interwar/WW2 at the moment.

any links bruder?
Not yet,
As renovating my online portfolio is the next task, in fact.
I posted some preliminary stuff from this project in the last art thread, but nobody seemed particularly interested by it so far...
Maybe because I haven't gotten around to making enough studies of historical objects...
Nice, as someone who is also working on making a comic (albeit in the very very alpha stages) keep at it bro. I hope to see your finished product.
Cool
Are you the "tank out for revenge in the Wild West" anon?
nope, I've never really posted talking about my project. But that anon's work also sounds interesting.
Is it me or are vatnik trolls getting worse?
This post is fricking moronic. Like are they even trying anymore?
>Is it me or are vatnik trolls getting worse?

I feel like if Russia goes through with the Kharkiv offensive they may seriously put their entire army at risk.
Whether it succeeds or not, you just know they are going to lose an insane amount of armor and by all accounts their reserves are approaching critical levels.
they've been using MT-LBs as APCs for almost a year now, this is actually less bad than that IMO. Those things are barely better armored than a pickup. But better than using Chinese golf carts as assault vehicles.
how would that be possible?
MT-LBs were classified as tractors, so the only ones who would have them are artillery crews
were they sending artillery crew into battle?
They are multi role vehicles that are primarily used as artillery tractors, but they are also used as APCs because they get that job done as well.
>but they are also used as APCs because they get that job done as well.
did they just walk up to the artillery battery and yank their movers?
anon have you been under a rock or something? there are videos of these things getting popped by drones on the frontline like every couple of days.
Russia only has enough BMPs for another 2 weeks of combat operations
We've seen the videos of the '''quality''' of the food those 'bought' fastfood joints in Russia are now producing Ivan.
can i see it
No. I know a dragon when I see a dragon.
i dont know what it means but ill believe you when you say it was real in your head
>i went to Russia's richest city and things were great!
wow Tucker, thanks for the insight into the russian economy
>Russia is making money hand over fist selling oil to the PRC and India.
They are selling below the the price cap that the EU set, they are losing money they would have made if not for grabbing at banan
Doesn't really matter in which IFV ziggers get blown up in does it? Especially as recently the seem to sit on top of it like pajeets on a train.
>recently
There were conscripts in Ukraine since day 1 kek.
Did you not hear the mother's seething about it. And when you're there, they force you to sign a contract or you sit in a room with no food or toilet for a week till you do sign.
This would be like if the US tried using AAVP-7s in place of Bradleys.
So long as Crimea is under NATO control and we can hit your home with an artillery shell and plow a quarter of their fields with Poles, it's a good investment for us.
>my home
My home is California, where I am located now. But unless you can shell Saint Petersburg, you won’t ever hurt where I might live one day.
>Californian
ah, so you are a communist after all.
NATO can absolutely shell st Pidorsberg now that Finland has joined
Just another example of based putins 4D chess at work lmao
Pay attention lads, this is a new species of zigger shill they've just come out with. I'm gonna call it "The Tucker."
>Shill, tucker
Do not redeem Saars!
Call them for what they are: Pinkos.
This isn't even new, this homosexual is one of those losers who gets really obsessed with Russia for being "trad" and "based" because he watched a few youtube videos and thinks everyone who lives there is a platinum blonde blue eyed Christian that will make dinner for him and not complain.
they actually think their failures in life are a circumstance of where they are, rather than who they are.
I'm gonna give you one piece of advice right now: If you think moving to russia is going to turn your life around and make you into some ridiculous chad you've seen on PrepHole memes, you should just save yourself the trouble and have a nice day now. You'll end up doing it over there anyhow.
You're overselling it laughably hard in those two posts.
The truth is probably a combination of the above posts and

.
Russia will have a few Potemkin cities, but the misery in the countryside will be deep, nigh total.
Yet the depth of the misery will not matter much because the Rus will continue to squat passively in their hovels. (Literally and figuratively)
It will be the 1800's again, except with synthetic polymer clothing & smartphones.
>the Ukraine
Can't help yourselves can you?
I get irked by his subtleties.
"I did not visit Russia's richest city."
Oh no, I didn't visit the absolute ***richest***, but only a ***very rich*** city. You know, there are ***so many*** rich Russian ***bustling cities*** it gets difficult to keep track...
Are you a schizo. I was replying to a specific post where that anon said That I visited Russia’s richest city.
Thanks. I don’t want to get raped by Turkish Airlines again.
Did you watch his follow up interview with Russel or just going to parrot MSM talking point because tucker bad! Tucker question government so he bad!
Russell Brand? The actor?
NTA but Tucker is mostly fine, his interview with that r/antiwork troon was comedy gold. Everybody has their competence limit, though, and Putin was his (I do think that the rambling "EU IV fabricated claims" interview might've broken the spell a little).
Him and Hinkle are commies. They should either stay in their lane, or stay out of politics.
That wasn’t Tucker, that was Watters
I watch neither Tucker Carlson nor MSM. I tend to read boring tables, and seek out things as close to documentary footage as I can find.
I haven't watched more than 5 minutes of any Trump speech. I have watched about 2 hours of Biden speaking, around the time of the Afghan withdrawal clusterfrick, because it was hilarious and infuriating at once.
I don't care whether something matches up to MSM or not. MSM may as well not exist to me.
I'm convinced you're just a shill though, so your job is to waste time.
>schizo
Yeah I've learned to filter out anybody who throws this word around, too.
This thread has had a decent amount of information and interpretation until about the midpoint. I can see it's winding down into the usual mudpit, now.
>Yeah I've learned to filter out anybody who throws this word around, too.
If someone is accusing an American veteran who is descended from the Mayflower pilgrims as being a Russian due to "subtitles", then that is legit paranoia (possibly schizophrenia).
>if you question the government you are a shill
Jesus man seek help.
Idk what you mean. Are you implying that I’m Russia? I’m an American eating in a burger joint in California rn.
>millions of working-age men have been killed or wounded
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
Yes.
May I see it
That's still more BMPs than Ukraine has or the West can provide.
>That's still more BMP-1s than Ukraine has or the West can provide.
Not really a flex, but okay vatnig
>the Ukraine

time
lmao
it's kinda weird considering the word "the" literally does not exist in Russian.
I speak English only. And I’m using the English description for the region/u in use from the 1700s to the 2000s.
Nope. I’m a far-right ethnonationalist. I am a 4th generation Californian, so I didn’t choose to be raised here.
Jumping ship for the GOP after Bernie got shitcanned don't make you far-right, it just makes you an uninformed voter.
>Nope. I’m a far-right ethnonationalist
He admits to being a based russia moron and people keep replying anyway?
Of all the telltale signs that it isn't an American and was never in russia, the latest I bothered reading was when it blabbered about """Patrick""" Buchanan. It should've been obvious from the start, but for some reason, some underage tards wanted to try giving the samegayging garbage some ""advice""".
If anyone was still wondering why people here wanted all russians dead even before this war, it's this exact larping samegayging piece of shit that sealed the deal. I ain't gonna be satisfied until every gommunist garbage that worked towards a post-truth """multipolar""" world is butchered along with their entire families.
There are plenty of Americans that think this way. America is a big country. Think about the Douglas McArthurs and Tucker Carlsons.
>there's totally so many Americans who called him """Patrick""" Buchanan, goys!
>McArthur and that moot looking homosexual totally called him """Patrick""" goys!
Even your fellow israelites who actually amanged to infiltrate the US knew what name he goes by. You, however, are just useless to them because of how much you slip up, so they won't mind when you get butchered first.
Wait so the israelites now are on Russia’s side? Hard to keep track
They're on their side, lets not kid ourselves!
Seriously though since Russia started fricking around in Syria annoyed them a lot, then when Russia started swapping bodily fluids and cash with Iran it got them pretty heated up and there's some Russian involvement in Lebanon and Palestine territories... now they're fricking cranky as all get out.
Think if it came to pissing on a Russian right now to stop him burning to death they'd walk away
IL is pretty neural re: UA, so that’s BS. It’s easy to see that the current pivot to turdyism by Russia is reflexive muscle memory driven by the MFA boomers, accepted only begrudgingly by Putin
Russia-Israel is probably at its lowest point in history
https://www.voanews.com/a/fact-check-did-russia-s-top-diplomats-walk-out-on-israel-s-un-representative-/7577510.html
This completely nothing in comparison to the USSR relations. Unless this is a semantics game where RU isn’t the successor of the SU
>russia has already lost
>ukraine has already lost
last time i checked the war was still going on
The only good thing about tankies is that they fund the deaths of Russians via their taxes, and someday soon they'll fund the deaths of the chinese.
>burgers
>burgers
>I'm american from california oblast eating many burgers in burger joint right now
This homie is legitimizing himself with hamburgers lol
kinda late tbh, it's like 8PM on a sunday in California right now.
I think it may be a real mentally ill american but the need to bring up burgers as proof is funny, hope he does apple pie next
>Burgers
Personally i find them saying 'my local big city in california' to be more of a give away it's like they've got a prompt they're supposed to ad lib and they didn't bother looking for an insert.
I still don’t understand why he’s bragged about diapers being sold in Russia, is that a luxury over there?
anyone here have any idea if there are any armored vehicles in use by Russia that .277 Fury can pen? About all i know is that it can potentially pen Level 4 personal armor but that tells me frick all.
>thread about AFV production
>Derailed by war tourists seething about fricking Tucker Carlson or whatever irrelevant media personality bullshit is going on
I fricking hate what what you homosexuals have done to /k/.
it's basically just that one guy from California oblast that likes burgers though.
No it's a collection of weirdos who obsess over Twitter personalities.
>Omg hinkle

>Get sent to Ukraine
Follow me for more unpleasant realizations
It's not a sending it's a special transport operation.
>Russia's economy is the same as the USSR
It's the same problem as Lend-Lease anon. This time Ukraine is on the outside, not the inside. I think you're the one projecting your emotions.
I'm not emotional at all. That's the problem here. You think anyone not shitting out mindless platitudes is Putin or something. And yes, there is nothing stopping Russia from going full NK and running off a planned economy once they can't access the market anymore.
Which proves my point.
>russians running out in 2 years proves my point russians aren't going to run out anytime soon
Is this what they call high time preference cognition?
Look, guys, I don't want Russia to win either, and the fact they didn't steamroll Ukraine in the first place has shown they're not the power everyone thought they were, BUT.
Why do so many people think Russia is going to completely collapse, or be forced out of Donbas and Crimea and whatnot. They can win this shit on pure attrition, since Ukraine's going to run out of men first. It'd be absolutely humiliating, but I think people are being unrealistic in thinking Ukraine is winning outright. Best case scenario for them is a White Peace, barring any civil war in Russia.
Sensible post.
Lmao no one is getting air superiority. And you're not going to be able to interdict their supplies to the point that they run out of food.
And rightly so
They won't keep Crimea either because that would reward annexation by force. Tards just don't understand especially the vatBlack person type.
Who is going to drive them out of there? UAF? Unlikely. It’s most likely lost to Ukraine for the foreseeable future.
Actual bot
Kek, take your meds.
I'm chilling on my bed in my tighty whities and you're calling me a bot. lmao
It’s funny because I am debating with you and he thinks we are the same bot. This board would benefit from user IDs
>RUSSIA HAS NOT YET BEGUNNNNN TO FIGHT! [No. 12578]
you tried.
I am not relying on /k/, MSM or USGOV/ NATO cutouts like Bellingcat for my sources of information. I am from the area originally, and familiar with people on both sides of the border including family. This war is not going well for RU OR UA. It is going very well for the USGOV if you agree with their goals in the region
I used to think it was going well for US gov too but I don't think so anymore. It seems to just be accelerating an international shift towards China's benefit.
The most disasterous thing has been this war in Gaza going on at the same time. USA positioned itself as a humanitarian champion and it's completely unraveled, and they aren't able to support Ukraine against Russia. This is a complete disaster.
The US position as humanitarian champion was never real in the eyes of the 3rd world.
Maybe aid missions are more intended for internal consumption,
So dumb college kids could feel good about pursuing positions.
Instead they #DanceToFreePalestine
It’s not that. 3rd worldism is built on resentment and jealousy. This can never be ameliorated by philanthropy, because philanthropy reinforces the relative standing of the west vs. the rest. You can see it in how the “Arabs” of the levant treat their peninsular and gulf benefactors.
>Russia has not made any general advance since the beginning of the war
already memory holed your failed winte offensives? Let me guess, it never happened
>Russia has not made any general advance since the beginning of the war.
I wonder if that reflects their capabilities in any way. No, they must be keeping the gloves on.
To the Rhine in 4 weeks, comrade Conskriptovich
Whatever happened to seven days to the River Rhine and fourteen days to Lyon?
>Fighting a war of attrition instead of a war of maneuver is a deliberate choice
If things continue as they have been (and i see very little indication that they won't) the ukies are absolutely going to win a war of attrition as they seem to be the only ones who try to conserve their forces in any way.
not reading that

Putin in the political lynchpin in Russia in as much as no one wants to change his diaper, because cleaning his mess will involve being perceived as weak, and so when he dies, any prospective successor who is serious about his own success will be gunning to be the second or third new Tzar, not the next new tzar. Perhaps the only faction with any desire to grasp the purple right off the hop are the Kadyrovites, as the regime in Chechnya lives and dies on the dhimmi paid by Moscow, and grasping the purple is probably the only way that Ramzan can ensure continuity in the tribute payments.
Just to compare, this is what a tank factory in collapsing, bombed out German Reich in 1945 looked.
>we're talking about Russia, the country famous for having a functional planned economy from 1920-1991.
Yes.
I get teh feeling you didn't do very well in high school economics anon.
Either that or you're a moron who gets impressed by the most basic key jangling.
Speaking of key jangling, there needs to be a version of “unknown technology” but it’s tucker Carlson and a shopping cart with a coin lock
>emotionally invested in this conflict. Russians aren't going to run out of AFV's any time soon and as for their economy - we're talking about Russia, the country famous for having a functional planned economy from 1920-1991.
This has to be bait
It's not. Just do some light reading on the topic.
Yeah. We're integrating them into infantry battalions as well.
>the country famous for having a functional planned economy from 1920-1991
dumbest fricking sentance I've ever read.
You are a complete dumb frick. a piece of moron brainshit-frick.
Based moron.
Soviet economy was shit. Read a book that is not written by russian revisionist.
We didn't even have fricking bananas or sausages. The economy was only capable of making vodka.
>We didn't even have fricking bananas or sausages
Yes, by the late 1980's.
>Great Society helped US pull ahead of BURGEONING CCCP
>Great Society helped
>Burgeoning USSR
So many layers of wrong.
Quite the nesting doll of wrong
It's completely non-controversial history you fricking clown.
Your very visceral reaction to something so completely uncontroversial is astounding.
kys
>Russia had a solid economy from 1950 till the late 1980's.
if you believe that you are so stupid and deluded about the events of the last century and the reasons for the USSRs collapse you are probably stupid enough to think the dystopian world of want that got it's first toilet paper factory in 1969 was a 'solid economy'.
>late 1980's
The late 80's was the worst period of all under soviet rule, it was pretty fricking dire for a lot of people
Which is what I said.
Had Germans and Japanese had that attitude, there would be no Germans or Japanese today.
the ukrainians are NOT in the same position that the germans and japanese were in when they surrendered
>there would be no Germans or Japanese today.
Have you seen those fertility rates?
You really are a fricking moron. Get off this board
>>and just decided to holiday in St.Pydorsberg
>Yes.
.
It's over. Russia is finished. They ran out of missiles, men, tanks. Their economy is sanctioned. they're mothballing BMP-1's. Ukraine will be in Crimea this Summer and Moscow by Winter.
>Ukraine will be in Crimea this Summer and Moscow by Winter.
This. Ukraine will stretch from the Bug to Vladivostok by mid-2025.
Many still around, many left for Europe, some killed in the war.
>inb4 hurr durr subhuman Slavs
>NATO still yet to send a single man
>Occupying territory in anon's head regardless
Is this the power of western might?
>>NATO still yet to send a single man
Only having sent how many hundreds of billions of dollars?
And how many Boris Johnsons?
At least eleventy of them
>eleventy
Common misconception, we only sent two or three dozen while the incubators were set up in Kyiv.
NAFO shill, everyone knows that even a single Boris Johnson carries enough eggs to infest an entire planet,
Which we've already seen happen before.
>Is this the power of western might?
I mean, has NATO ever spent so much and accomplished so little? NATO has spent more than the 20 years in Afghanistan and the result will be the same: humiliating defeat and lots of wasted money and lives.
>humiliating defeat and lots of wasted money and lives.
Russia lost more men and equipment in one year of combat in Ukraine than all of NATO did in the entire 20 years of occupation in Afghanistan.

Read the fricking thread next time before posting pydor
Even if you use much more conservative estimates, such as Oryx numbers or the BBC's recent attempts to confirm Russian KIA, it's a pretty grim picture.
*fart*
I'll rely on LostArmor from now on, too
>Send money and hardware
>Get an unconscionably high pile of Russian bodies and burnt out hardware
Sounds like a good trade to me.
>the Ukraine still won't have its land back
So a temporary annoyance of Russia was the end goal?
Ukraine regaining their pre-2014 territory would be ideal. Ukraine remaining an independent state free of Russian occupation would be good.
Short of all that, making Russia pay for it with obscene numbers of bodies, dollars and hardware is still better than nothing.
You do realize that this is all on borrowed money and interest payments on the national debt are higher than ever before? For the first time in history we are paying more in interest than on defense.
Okay. I still want Russia to have to pay for every inch of land they steal though.
The national debt has grown by trillions in the last years. It’s a big problem, but UA, IL, etc. are a drop in the bucket tbh. It’s when US puts actual troops on the ground - that’s when foreign policy costs a lot
This was never going to happen though. It should have been obvious to everyone by Bakhmut or the Ukrainian counteroffensive. this board is full of teenagers and redditors though, haven't quite figured out the headlines they relied on were propaganda the whole time.

I'm used to it. /k/ is full of people who never experienced life outside the Internet. My favorite thing to do on here is post unattributed quotes about how the Ukraine is losing or should negotiate and let the (You)s pile up where they call me vatnik, Ivan, etc. then I link to the source showing the quotes coming from NATO officials, even generals. Then the cuc/k/s start coping with "they are just saying that to get more aid".
This place sucks just like biz except it's going to take a lot more than requiring an email address to fix this shithole of a board.
Note that most of my posts are deleted because troony jannies banned me for “off-topic” discussion. Meanwhile, the gays participating in the same discussion, but anti-Russian, remain unbanned and their posts undeleted.

israel's usual kvetching isn't gonna change how 10% of israel is russian, and how russia is run by israelites especially ~~*Shelomov*~~. There are few things israelites criticize more than other israelites.
What does go beyond just criticism though is the neo-judeo-bolshevik attempts to subvert and destroy nations, including trying to form a post-truth """multipolar""" world. Luckily, the internet never forgets, and you're on record as calling one of the people of the nation you infiltrate """Patrick""" Buchanan, and shekels and claimed """passports""" aren't going to erase that, especially when they aren't what are looked for on this board. as a russian, I can tell that he is mostly right
the economy largely being in business as usual mode is the reason monke can continue waging war. My friends who remain in russia are still able to feel that war happens somewhere else and the fact that ukrainians are targeting military/oil things only with their drones means they can continue feeling safe and completely ignoring the war
regarding the monke popular support, it's visibly high, but it's only because opposition has been completely decimated and pushed to youtube, you can't see any evidence of discontent simply because it was cleaned up
it all depends on how long monke can continue flinging oil to china and india to continue supporting the war and stagnating economy
so finally just two more weeks until total globalist victory, right?
