Expresses grave concern and gives Ukrainians 50 more Western tanks from the 90s. Poland hands over their entire stock of Soviet/legacy Polish armor

No seriously how many times do you need to be proven wrong?

Expresses grave concern and gives Ukrainians 50 more Western tanks from the 90s. Poland hands over their entire stock of Soviet/legacy Polish armor

anon here. What proof? No, really. Do you think NATO would intervene directly? Russia is USA's second biggest threat and Europe's biggest threat by far - ever since the summer of 2022 it was clear that Russia is in too deep and that Ukrainians will fight to the death, because this is a question of survival of the nation, therefore the West can send weapons and those weapons will do tremendous damage to Russia without shedding a drop of Western blood.

And yet, America is treating this less seriously than they did Iraq or Afghanistan (their suppirt is invaluable, but nonetheless, mere pennies to them) and Westeuros responded with actually moronic reluctance. Germans were pussyfooting at every step until recently, the French are STILL showing a pathetic response for what is supposed to be the aspiring military leader of the EU and the Spanish and Italians are busy pretending that they're not some of the biggest economies in the world.

So yes, I think EastEuros would go balls to the wall and the rest of the alliance would express grave concern and send some more tanks from the 90's or earlier.

What do YOU think NATO would do based on what we've seen previously?

          Because we don’t need to

And this is why my prediction would be correct.

Also what kind of dumbfrick attitude is this? Regardless of where you are in the EU, your country has been spending 1-5% of its budget for the past 60 years on building, buying and maintaining equipment (as well as training troops) for the sole purpose of killing Russians and thus preventing them from invading your country. Now you have the possibility to spend a fraction of that to neutralize Russia as a threat for the following half century with practically no risk for your troops. But instead many of these countries drag their feet or contribute the bare minimum.

Or imagine this - what would the Kharkiv offensive would have looked like if NATO had decided to send tanks not in February 2023, but in July 2022.

Europe doesn't seem to understand it's at war RIGHT NOW. It's bragging about spending 2% of GDP on defense, when during war time it should be about 10 times that. It's the same right across Europe, the UK defense minister wanted to spend just 3% of GDP on defense and he was told that wasn't happening. They are having a nice snooze and they don't want to be woken up.

      support vanishes
Putin could personally travel to India and commit the currycost and the poos would still be taking Russia's side against "whitey".

Exactly. Thirdie subhumans support Russia out of their seething hatred and envy of the White man. They'll never denounce Monke. Every time they see White people die they cheer and clap, their guttural cries of joy echoing through the smog-choked air of their shantytowns. They cannot be reasoned with, only ground beneath the White man's boot.

They also like handouts and respect strength, neither of which Russia will have after the war. I expect that we'll see many 'neutral' countries backing away from Russia as the war's end draws near

Russian declare goals accomplished and ukraine loses becuase russia is mostly untouched while ukraine is a wasteland.
Russia tells NATO clean it up janny goes home and just never deals with the west and becomes an untouchable Iran tier regional nuisance.
Ukraine becomes and Israel tier nuisance to russia with constant assassinations but russia escapes any real punishment.

militarily speaking, these are the immediate measures
    >retaliation: the sinking of the black sea fleet
    >complete baltic sea naval blockade
    >NATO closes the skies over Ukraine
    no immediate capitulation: medium term
    >complete barents sea naval blockade
    >destruction of the kerch bridge
    >destruction of all strategic weapons in russia
    >optional: operational level support from the air to Ukraine and a campaign to destroy russian military infrastructure in Ukraine
    still no capitulation: long term
    >invasion of russia

They do not have to do anything. Russia will be the pariah of the world for centuries to come and will lose any diplomatic leverage it still holds. The country will be completely isolated, fully blockaded and implode under its own weight.

last time i read about it it was in process of shutting down - if they blow it up while shut nothing catastrophic will happen - if they restart it to melt it down on purpose contamination to the black sea and surrounding Russian lands would be pretty stupid... but this "special operation" wasn't the best idea either...
