anyone know if Crazy Neighbor died by MAID?
the circumstances surrounding his death are strange, or opaque..Steve Wallis stopped uploading content a while ago and made an announcement on twitter about crazy neighbor suffering from terminal illness (presumably, as a result of the motorcycle accident he was in a couple months ago). And then a month after the announcement and the cryptic memorial video, crazy neighbor is gone.. right on schedule? What the hell? Wallis uploaded a video announcing his death, but skirted the cause of death.. no mention of “natural causes” or any specificity anywhere. Next to zero details about what terminal illness Glenn was suffering from… something about this stinks.. please tell me they didn’t MAID crazy neighbor.
Why do you care?
fpbp stop obsessing over random people you don't know and go touch grass
This.
As I just discovered the news, I'm still sad to see him gone nonetheless. RIP
He broke his femur anon, that's a death sentence in a young person let alone a 70 year old dude, there's nothing mysterious about it
is healthcare really that bad in canada?
Depends on where you live.
It has nothing to do with healthcare, if you break your femur you're a dead man within 3 years
If you're elderly and/or a fat sack of comorbidities, sure
lots of CHUD MD going on in this thread. it's not necessarily a death sentence, at all.. the mortality rate for elderly pipo with femur fractures is around 5-30% within the first year the fracture occurs. i can’t believe you MAIDed your neighbor… you’re a piece of shit steve.
He's thinking of horses.
I'm thinking of people, breaking your femur is a death sentence, most who break it are gone in 3 years, some live to 5 years.
If you're old it's considerably shorter as in Glenn's case (RIP)
>schizoid rambling writing style
No thanks frick off.
>he thinks MAID is involuntary
If crazy neighbor got MAID it was because he wanted it. If somebody would prefer to die on their own terms rather than slowly degenerate from a terminal illness until they're incapable of doing anything but laying unconscious in a bed, that's entirely their decision, as it should be.
Oh, I see, because clearly nobody ever faces pressure from family, society, or even their own deteriorating health to consider options like MAID. It's all rainbows and sunshine until you're actually in that situation, right? homosexual.
>because clearly nobody ever faces pressure from family, society
If these "pressures" make you choose MAID maybe you weren't strong enough to survive the world anyway.
>or even their own deteriorating health to consider options like MAID
That's... the point of MAID. If you're already dying, and know it's going to be a drawn-out process full of suffering, humiliation, and pain, you can choose to die painlessly and with dignity, on your own terms, rather than waiting until your disease turns you into a complete invalid.
Of course if you WANT to die slowly and naturally you can still do that. Nobody stops you from doing that.
Are you even Canadian? Let me guess, you aren't, so everything you think you know about MAID is from /misc/schizo conspiracy theories.
yeah dude I hear all the families are rushing to pressure their loved ones into suicide now, there's lineups outside the clinics
The government certainly is. Theyll give you a bunch of brochures and shit, offer it when you havent brought it up, etc.
>Theyll give you a bunch of brochures and shit
Oh god no, not brochures!
>offer it when you havent brought it up
The only people who ever did that were fired as a result.
>Oh god no, not brochures!
Pressure is pressure. Especially considering where the message is coming from. Ttry to understand how these people might feel.
>fired as a result
Theyre fall guys.
>Pressure is pressure. Especially considering where the message is coming from. Ttry to understand how these people might feel.
Simply being informed that MAID is an option is not "pressure" nor is it even a suggestion. Healthcare workers don't suggest that anybody should consider MAID. If a patient is eligible then they just tell them that it exists, because they have to inform patients of all possible treatment options - precisely so the patient can choose for themselves how they want to proceed.
>Theyre fall guys.
Uh-huh. Proof?
Telling someone that suicide is an option IS pressure you autist. Which by the way in calgary a judge ruled is worth killing yourself over.
>Telling someone that suicide is an option IS pressure you autist.
No it isn't, because suicide is ALWAYS an option. MAID just means grandpa can die peacefully, rather than by blowing his brains out in the shed with the old 12 gauge because he was diagnosed with dementia and doesn't want to live through it.
>Which by the way in calgary a judge ruled is worth killing yourself over.
Source?
>some people (who were fired as a result) did bad things, better shut down the entire system
Its not the duty of the state to kill its own citizens. Grandpa can od on pills if he wants to leave a intact corpse.
The state isn't killing it's own citizens. Citizens are choosing to die and doctors are helping them with that.
Again, are you even Canadian? I bet you aren't.
If you have a nice day because someone said you should, then maybe you should actually just die. Because you are clearly weak and pathetic.
No one cares about your opinion on suicide you boot licking psychopath.
No one cares about your opinion on Canadian laws, foreigner. Mind your business.
>noooo everyone who criticizes Trudeau is a foreigner
MAID yourself
I despise Trudeau. Doesn't mean I automatically despise every policy or law he's ever implemented.
The government isn't sitting there deciding who needs to die today.
MAID is a decision that is solely up to the patient.
>MAID is a decision that is solely up to the patient.
Yeah just like abortion right? No one has ever been pressured into that!
If you have a nice day because of "pressure" (which you seem to define as simply being told that MAID exists - if that's pressure, it's the lightest fricking pressure in the world) then perhaps you deserve to die.
If they are that weak willed then maybe they do. But the government needs to stay the frick out of it and they DEFINITELY don't need to drag doctors into it.
The government IS staying out of it you fricking moron. You're acting like there's some kind of political committee deciding who needs to die today.
Doctors aren't "dragged into it" at all. In fact, healthcare workers who don't agree with MAID don't have to provide it (though if the patient wants it they can't stop them from getting it, they can only refuse to participate themselves).
The government IS performing it. Its a government program, what the frick are you on about? It wouldn't be a thing if not for the government.
Manipulating people who are vulnerable and at their lowest into killing themselves so that you can pocket their money is the epitome of evil, and the fact that you can't see this is very telling of what sort of "person" you are and who you vote for.
>Manipulating people who are vulnerable and at their lowest into killing themselves
And who is doing that aside from shithead workers who were fired as a result?
>so that you can pocket their money is the epitome of evil
Do you think the government just takes the money and assets of anyone who dies from MAID?
>and the fact that you can't see this is very telling of what sort of "person" you are and who you vote for.
What I see is that people have a right to do what they want with their lives, including ending them as they see fit.
>The government IS performing it
No, doctors are performing it.
>Its a government program, what the frick are you on about? It wouldn't be a thing if not for the government.
The government's involvement in the program consists of writing regulations, guidelines, and rules. They are not deciding that anybody should die. They are not suggesting that anybody should die. They have simply made it a legal option, as it should be.
>No, doctors are performing it.
Performing in on behalf of the government, with government consent. Doctors who, by the way, are paid by the government.
They're performing it on behalf of the patients, with government consent.
Would you prefer doctors be paid like they are in America, where you go bankrupt if your insurance decides to frick you over?
No they aren't moron. They're letting individuals decide what is worth killing themselves over.
>Do you really think this was an isolate incident that won't ever be replicated?
If it happens again, more people will be fired.
>They save huge money on you being gone.
Sure. But again, they can't force you to choose MAID.
>They always did. No one has a right to place that burden on the taxpayer or anyone else.
The burden is on the taxpayer whether they kill themselves by MAID or not. Do you think suicides don't cost the government money? EMS, police, etc. all cost money and all will be involved in a suicide investigation.
And you owe that whether you die by MAID or die of natural causes. It makes no difference.
>i can’t believe you MAIDed your neighbor
Once again, nobody can "MAID" somebody else. If crazy neighbor died by MAID (and there is no indication that he did) it was 100% his own decision.
>The burden is on the taxpayer whether they kill themselves by MAID or not. Do you think suicides don't cost the government money?
The moral burden you psychopath
So grandpa should have to blow his brains out with a 12 gauge in the shed for grandma to find after he gets diagnosed with alzheimer's, because you don't personally agree with people's right to die.
It is genuinely hilarious that you talk about morals while taking the position of "force people to suffer more instead of being able to die painlessly and quickly."
Grandpa can run his truck in the garage like all the men before him.
>grandma enters the garage to check why her husband hasn't come in for dinner
>dies
Again, MAID is the morally superior option. From a moral perspective there is no valid reason to oppose it.
Never happened. And its morally wrong to drag others into your suicide. Its a private thing. Write a note and do it. No one else should be involved.
>atheist talking about morals
frick off back to plebbit
>They are not deciding that anybody should die.
They are literally telling the population what is worth killing yourself over. Bipolar? have a nice day. Autistic? have a nice day.
Its a demoralization tactic and potentially a eugenics tactic as well.
>And who is doing that aside from shithead workers who were fired as a result?
Do you really think this was an isolate incident that won't ever be replicated?
>Do you think the government just takes the money and assets of anyone who dies from MAID?
They save huge money on you being gone.
>What I see is that people have a right to do what they want with their lives, including ending them as they see fit.
They always did. No one has a right to place that burden on the taxpayer or anyone else.
>takes the money and assets of anyone who dies
You have to pay a 50 percent tax on value amount increase of any real estate from the time you got it.
So if you bought a house a 250000 and then the housing bubble inflated it to 500000 by the time you died then you'd owe half of that increase in tax.
Its a government program which means the state is doing it you idiot.
>better shut down the entire system
Yes. It clearly demonstrates that the government is not responsible or competent enough to be playing God.
Source: your ass.
it's true. the government would rather kill you than offer you proper medical aid. they could be using that money to give free houses to wealthy refugees and immigrants.

Probably alcoholism like every other retarted 50 year old Albertan
F
50 year old Albertans are riding horses on their 400 acres property while east coast city rats (actual alcoholics) inhale plastics and die before even saving up a down payment.
Mom, Wife, Best Friend.
At least he still has Garbage.
Safe and effective
why is lady fate so harsh on him?
Many of Steve Wallis close family and friends seem to unexpectedly die. If anyone asks searching questions about all these deaths, Steve Wallis and all his fans, shut down the questions immediately. I personally think it's all very suspicious.
How does Steve get away with it?
He took out Beautiful Wife, his mom, and crazy neighbor in under two years.
Does he really hate posting content that much?
