Everyone 'trains' to take center of mass shots these days, but if SHTF, everyone and their mothers will be wearing at least lvl 3 plates. Shouldn't you be training to take lower shots now? The groin region has many LAY THE FRICK DOWN points and huge arteries that are almost impossible to squeeze off and stop blood loss. And even if you hit lower having holes in your legs presents some problems.

Body armor is becoming more prevalent in gun owner communities, which have themselves grown in popularity as the Federal Government has become more and more openly hostile to the citizenry.
If there were a WROL, societal collapse, "SHTF" scenario, Level 3 and up body armor would be a lot more common to encounter than it was just 10 years ago. But I think that's led to a misconception that "everyone has armor now."
Normies and nogunz will still look at you sideways when they find out you own body armor at all. That and I get the sense that most of the people who will be raiding/pillaging in societal collapse are the same types that raid and pillage Walmarts and Targets currently. Which is to say untrained and undisciplined monkeys. Said monkeys won't bother with body armor even if they did get their hands on it. Just look at NFAC. Their elite, their finest, were wearing mesh carriers and airsoft gear.

2. Center of mass training leads to a statistically higher hit percentage, and a shorter time till the first hit. Meaning the army that trains to shoot something other than center mass statistically looses more men than the army that trains to shoot center mass. By training to shoot at the pelvis, you are hampering yourself for an advantage in a scenario where you and an enemy have level 4 plates but your enemy does not have a groin protector, and accepting that your enemy is going to hit you in the chest first. Again, it's statistics, so if you respond with some individual case "but Id be fastar tho" you're just revealing yourself as a homosexual.
3. no one wears level 3 plates, and level 3 plates can be punched through with 5.56 easily. Carry a full sized rifle barrel you dumb homosexual.

I'm not a professional and even I have a lv4 wiener blocker. BFD doesn't kill, and all the force of a puny bullet is spread out over the entire plate and what's behind it. The fat on my wiener will absorb the trauma, might even get hard from it.
