They are inherently superior to the Ruger 10/22, Marlin M60, etc. You will never have cycling problems with revolver carbines in .22LR and you can even reliably shoot subsonic ammo in semi-auto. Why aren't revolver carbines the standard for .22LR?
How can you not admire this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ERxIm5-sTo
>You will never have cycling problems with revolver carbines in .22LR and you can even reliably shoot subsonic ammo in semi-auto. Why aren't revolver carbines the standard for .22LR?
Because .22 is dirty as frick and people like putting their hands on a forend.
>subsonic
You.. do know you can't suppress a revolver without a Herculean engineering effort, right?
>Herculean engineering effort
Herculean trigger pull
>design dead end from more than a century ago that resulted in having a god awful heavy trigger pull
>design dead end from more than a century ago
Isn't this all revolvers though?
You can still walk into a gun store and buy new production revolvers though.
You can buy new production muskets too, this doesn't mean the design isnt a dead end from more then three centuries ago
That won't suppress noise because of the cylinder gap
Thanks for telling us you don't know Jack shit about the Webley.
my point still stands
you can't suppress a revolver
the gap can blow off your fingers, of course it's going to make noise
S tier bait
>he doesn't know
>the Webley
>you gays are still getting it wrong
lurk moar

What? Here is an out of the box revolver with Aguila Colibri: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBGTfe9LzL8 It literally works out of the box lol
>most people don't like the idea of a double action trigger and no safety on a long gun
>cylinder gap means it will be much louder than other .22 rifles, while other .22 rifles can comfortably be shot in low volumes without hearing protection
>semi auto really doesn't matter much for practical reasons in .22 rifles, so the main appeal is among people who want a cheaper gun that a straight blowback action allows for or higher capacity, and a revolver offers neither of those
Post yours OP
I have this one. It’s an extremely fun plinker. Also could become extremely utilitarian in the event of a collapse
forgot pic
Nice, what's the one underneath?
Henry Big Boy in 45LC. They actually threw in the Heritage “for free” with the purchase of that and an El Paso Saddelry holster
I used to be obsessed with these, but the fact that you can't wield it like a normal rifle sucks
If you tried to hold it with your left hand in front of the trigger you would get your fingers blown off.
not true. It’s only 22. You’d just get some nasty hot air and potentially small shrapnel. Definitely not pleasant but you can do it.
No I know a low caliber wouldn't do shit
When I was obsessed with these I was trying to design a long range high caliber revolving rifle with black powder.
Which would be a nightmare because of the cylinder gap.
We know about the existence of such revolvers, the Webley isn't the only one.
My point still stands as most revolvers don't have that mechanism.
Explain to me how it isn't worse than every other kind of rifle
Just because I can manage to craft one very easily.
Why is an iron knife better than a magnesium titanium alloy one?
It isn't. But I can craft the iron knife way more easily.
