No, there literally isn't. Not morally and not in the law either. Justifiable homicide has nothing to do with the lethal force used, only whether ANY lethal force was justified. Doesn't matter if it was a gun, your bare fists or a revolutionary war era 9 lber cannon.

>This is a tragic situation that could have been avoided had police de-escalation protocols been properly implemented,” the Naji family’s lawyer, Amir Makled, said. “We acknowledge that the police officer faced down the gun used by the victim and the danger that it posed to him and, potentially, others. However, officers are trained to and should be skilled at recognizing mental health crises. The deceased was not in a state to know right from wrong.”
>“Let’s be clear: this is a civil rights case,” he said. “The victim’s civil rights were immediately violated when the police officer fired his gun without, apparently, any consideration to de-escalate the situation. The killing of our client’s loved one was unnecessary, and we believe the entire confrontation could have been brought to a nonlethal close.”
>"The deceased was not in a state to know right from wrong.”
Doesn't the insanity case get thrown out the window the second complex planning is involved? He stole the gun from work, drove to the police station, pulled out the gun, then tried to clear a malfunction. To me that sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing.
>Dearborn has the largest Muslim population in the United States per capita.
We either deport them now, or we so it after we see them dancing for joy after the first terrorist nuke on American soil. This is psychotic. How did we come to this?
>steals gun >parks in no parking zone (this is important) >attempts to shoot desk worker >family is suing the city for wrongful death
Dearborn’s brightest!
>parks in no parking zone (this is important)
Didn't even notice that. I hope they dumped at least another mag into him and sent a parking ticket to his family.
>Dearborn >Shit hole that borders Detroit
The only thing surprising about this is that it wasn't a jogger. One less haji to drive the wrong way down Michigan Avenue.
If he were smart, he would have had a fat life insurance policy for his family. But seeing as how Arabs are almost as greedy as joos, ofc the family tries suing for wrongful death.
its not logical in this instance, i get if the target has position of advantage of he's literally lying on the ground right in front of you.
Cops are morons and always under threat of legal action so you train them to always follow the standard operating procedure, no matter what. The guy could be missing a head and the training will still tell them them to behave like this.
>The guy could be missing a head and the training will still tell them them to behave like this.
Oh I've seen footage lol people clearly dying being told to put their hands behind their back. Man suffering a stroke being tazed for not complying.
Cops act like scared morons too often, bad optics.
Under lethal threat, you respond with lethal force, you shoot until the threat is dead. No cop is under obligation to arrest a criminal who just tried to kill him.
Meh, I hate cops but if someone pulls a gun and fails to shoot and I have the opportunity to take aim and mag dump him, I'm 100% gonna do so regardless of if 1-2 bullets would've sufficed, or even if no bullets would've sufficed assuming he didn't figure out how to get the gun working. Once you aim a gun, real or not, loaded or not, if it looks real and you're acting like it's real, the incoming rounds are gonna feel real and well deserved.
You know what's sad is that there are people on that twitter thread saying "if the gun malfunctioned, the cop had no right to shoot" and "he was clearly down after 1/2/3 shots why shoot so many times?" This is why guns, BLM, and politics in the US is so fricked. People actually think these are legit arguments
Loaded gun in assailants hand
Perp keeps moving around, writhing in pain. Most dangerous time of a self defense shooting whether the person is armed or not. Police training and policy says to keep shooting until they aren't moving.
Do you not have any firearms?
i'm not anon above but police training and policy isn't some universal constant or law of physics. lots of countries dont have the same formulaic/autistic/military ROE style "threat/no threat" approach for their civilian police forces and require them to fire warning shots, shoot to wound, and only shoot to kill as a last resort and even then hold fire once they go down. you can criticize this as unfair or impractical but it still means outsiders who aren't indoctrinated (in the literal meaning of the term) in mag dump ROE along with the unofficial justifications (dead guys cant sue for damages etc) might have a different opinion just like with any other issue
>indoctrinated
I mean, feeling is mildly mutual? While I do absolutely think American policing is full of major problems, I can't look at that movie and imagine anyone thinking "yes this is how that should have gone I'm glad they didn't shoot the driver". Or at the very least if the idea is to always go for tires first they should be arming their officers with shotguns or something that'll do the job.
The big problems with overmilitarization of the police tend to be when they go out to private citizen's homes/businesses, shit like no knock warrants, massive overaggression in stops, etc. OP is one of the few cases where yes killing him is completely fine. There isn't any ambiguity there, and that's in a police station they didn't barge into somebody's house (often the wrong house) at 2am.
reeks like a false flag
the cop fricking opened the glass so it wouldnt break while having a gun pointed at him for 5 seconds
he said gun over 10 times before he even opened the glass
>so it wouldnt break
It was bullet resistant glass you fricking moron. Cop saw there was an opportunity and took it. It's not a magical force field that only works on incoming fire not outgoing.
>the cop fricking opened the glass so it wouldnt break while having a gun pointed at him for 5 seconds >he said gun over 10 times before he even opened the glass

>lots of countries
America is the only relevant country. Russia and China are almost relevant because they each have hundreds of nuclear weapons. Every other country can suck my fat greasy hairy nutsack.
>lots of countries dont have the same formulaic/autistic/military ROE style
They should though. Take your attached webm for example. Had the cop popped him the moment he decided to turn hus vehicle into a ramming device, it would have done much less damage than what happened.
>warning shots
give them time to pull their gun, if it's already drawn it's just a signal for them to start blasting. Where exactly are you supposed to aim these warning shots? >shoot to wound
Ah, because if they're shot in the leg they can't shoot you. Have fun trying to land a shot on their shooting hand like in the movies John Wayne. >hold fire once they go down
Because if they were dangerous enough for you to shoot them (i.e. fear for your life or the lives of people around you) you should definitely give them another chance to kill you or those people you were trying to protect. >they're doing it so they don't get sued
doesn't look like it's keeping them from getting sued in this case or like 99% of any police involved shootings >webm
Police being ineffective against guys who obviously have no regard for the lives of others allowing them to continue off into the community they are supposed to protect. Sure, whatever. If it was a stupid reason they are running, they're kids or whatever maybe let them go but your webm doesn't prove anything at best and at worse just proves my point.
What makes you think the guy you're replying to is arguing with you? The fact that he posted that webm leads me to believe he is not in agreement with using kid gloves to apprehend violent subjects. He probably agrees with a lot of your arguments and is just pointing out that many jurisdictions do not allow the same level of force allowed in most American states.
Cops are morons and always under threat of legal action so you train them to always follow the standard operating procedure, no matter what. The guy could be missing a head and the training will still tell them them to behave like this.
It's just a show because they know G*d needs a little more time to take this guy to heaven instead of immediately rendering this moron life saving first aid and costing tax payers millions in medical costs.

Shit response, but good split times, assuming 18 sight pictures and all hit in the upper thoracic

Taking all bets on what the gun was that jammed before firing a single shot.
he stole it from a barber shop he used to work at right before the shooting so my money would be on that he just didn't know at all how to operate it. it's some big stainless hammer fired pistol.

I own a 5906. Not calling this a positive ID, but I just held mine up against the video on a 1080 monitor in similar positions from this point of view. Frame-by-frame, I'm saying this *could* be a S&W 5906, or something very similar.
> t. I'm happy to say, even holding my own confirmed, unloaded weapon pointed at myself by myself still gives me cold sweat. Hope that shit never changes.
And, frick yeah. Total mag dump was fully justified in this shoot. Motherfricker was repeatedly attempting to shoot & get the weapon firing. If he had been in front of me pointing at me while trying to get the weapon firing, I'd have done a full 17+1 mag dump on him ... which happens to be exactly what my 5906 is configured with.
I hink he stole the gun to off himself but it either jammed or whatever and then he decided to do suicide by cops 10/10 yify on the acting inside the station.
Do you think all these yung kangs are doing this as a means to support their families? If you're a failed provider and demoralised into victimhood, then why not go out fighting the 'opporessors' and get your family paid for it? Even if the cops don't get sued the hordes of nog sympathisers on twatter will do a go fund me.
It was kind of funny in that he probably thought he was looking cool one handing the gun but ended pretty sadly because he probably didn't know how to use it.
For a moment I just thought he was committing suicide by cop. >1/10
It looked like target practice.
A gun can't really 'jam' on the first shot. Looks to me like >why no bang >oh safety yeah >still no bang?? >shieeet is there even bullets in this thing >oh yeah here's bullets in the magazines maybe I have to pull the sli-
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
unbelievable that you gays would argue about whether or not to post a webm or a lazy link to twitter when the video is so awesome
audio is 10/10 on this one
isn't this the same station where some guy walked in open carry and was quickly surrounded by cops pointing guns at him while he kept saying open carry was legal and he dindu nuffin?
Legally speaking, aren't cops in the US only allowed to shoot until the aggressor is no longer a credible threat? I get that it's nuanced - an armed person is not necessarily no longer a threat once they're on the ground. But isn't it a little coincidental that in all these magdump videos the number of rounds needed to incapacitate the target just happen to be "all the rounds in the service weapon?" We had an OIS case in Canada (Sammy Yatim) in which the cop was charged and found guilty mainly because he fired two volleys of shots at the knife-wielding subject - one while the subject was standing and armed, and then another when he was on the ground incapacitated. The first number of rounds were probably justified, but the cop paused for a second or two after the subject dropped, and then fired a second series of shots and that's what got him in hot water.
I don't really care either way; the guy in OP's video clearly signed his own death warrant.
It's all one "volley" of shots in this video though. There was a guy in Philly, not a cop, no less, who shot a robber at the Metro PCS (phone) store he was working at. All the rounds in his glock went into that guy (so ~17+1) and he got off just fine. Robber turned his back, worker was sitting and completed his draw and fired. Continued firing at a similar rate to the cop in this video as he stood up shooting through the printer and GTFO.
in US cops have "qualified immunity" which basically means in the act of policing it is so stressful and quick decision making that basically you have to prove they have intent to cause harm which is hard because you have police unions. So basically they never get charged since DAs are strong supporters of the city police chief and vice versa. It's all a big system.
It really comes down to the combination of pistols being absolutely dogshit at killing people unless you get a heart/CNS shot, cops being dogshit at accuracy, and a lot of future scientists being hopped up on drugs when they pull these stunts. The dudes getting lit up honestly might not be registering 10+ rounds because half missed entirely, and the other half missed vitals and they haven't started to bleed out yet.
Cops are awful shots. On PoliceActivity you get the occasional good shooter who has an RMR or holosun on his Glock and actually knows what he's doing, but 90% of the videos are oinkers just jerking the trigger and firing as fast as humanly possible. ESPECIALLY the New York or New Jersey cops because they're fat Yankee cucks who have never shot guns before in their life other than a human sized target at 5 yards to qualify to be a cop. Plus israelite York I'm not sure if they still use those 10+ pound NY Glock Triggers which is fricking INSANE for a pistol trigger weight.
cops in the US have an incredible amount of legal leeway in some states. they can basically shoot as long as they feel threatened. with the reasoning boiled down to not wanting cops to hesitate in dangerous situations.
But no, they can't. Somalians aren't Black folk, they're the niggest. Millenia of inbreeding have robbed them of even the few genetic advantages Africans generally have, and dropped their IQs even lower. I do not know what their race has done to offend God, but i must have been heinous.
How long until self-defense cases get regularly sued in civil because “he should have just turned over his wallet to the economically disadvantaged man in the mask”

this is an opinion you've made up on the spot.
No, I've had it for several years now.
Agreed. Cop was doing everybody a favor.
>"The deceased was not in a state to know right from wrong.”
Doesn't the insanity case get thrown out the window the second complex planning is involved? He stole the gun from work, drove to the police station, pulled out the gun, then tried to clear a malfunction. To me that sounds like he knew exactly what he was doing.
maybe but the reasonableness of his actions don't matter at all since he is not on trial because he is dead
>Dearborn has the largest Muslim population in the United States per capita.
We either deport them now, or we so it after we see them dancing for joy after the first terrorist nuke on American soil. This is psychotic. How did we come to this?
Dearborn has been full of muslims for longer than you've been alive
And they're members of a fricking death cult that explicitly calls for human sacrifice, and I want them gone.
>hizz new glawk 40
Not even his, he stole it out of a drawer at his job just a short while before.
>steals gun
>parks in no parking zone (this is important)
>attempts to shoot desk worker
>family is suing the city for wrongful death
Dearborn’s brightest!
>parks in no parking zone (this is important)
Didn't even notice that. I hope they dumped at least another mag into him and sent a parking ticket to his family.
0.0/12 imagine going out with no score and getting fricked that hard on the way out.
>Dearborn
>Shit hole that borders Detroit
The only thing surprising about this is that it wasn't a jogger. One less haji to drive the wrong way down Michigan Avenue.
Suicide by cop? Wtf did he expect to happen, even if his gun didn't jam?
I mean everything else notwithstanding, at least he did it right in a police station. Wasn't some soft target, or out on the street.
>Wasn't some soft target, or out on the street.
I can abide by that.
If he were smart, he would have had a fat life insurance policy for his family. But seeing as how Arabs are almost as greedy as joos, ofc the family tries suing for wrongful death.
Uh, aren't most if not all insurance policies voided if the cause of death involves committing a crime?
I know it would be null for suicide, not sure how it would play out in other situations. There's probably fine print of sorts in every policy.
Nobody is going to pay insurance for that shit, moron.
If you mag dumped into a guy and he was lying on the ground...I really dont understand this level of precaution.
SOP for cops trip fren. He may be down, but he's still near a loaded firearm.
its not logical in this instance, i get if the target has position of advantage of he's literally lying on the ground right in front of you.
>The guy could be missing a head and the training will still tell them them to behave like this.
Oh I've seen footage lol people clearly dying being told to put their hands behind their back. Man suffering a stroke being tazed for not complying.
Cops act like scared morons too often, bad optics.
It’s not always one shooter
>WhY dIdNt ThEy JuSt PePpEr SpRaY hIm!?
Play stupid games, win based prizes.
i'm not anon above but police training and policy isn't some universal constant or law of physics. lots of countries dont have the same formulaic/autistic/military ROE style "threat/no threat" approach for their civilian police forces and require them to fire warning shots, shoot to wound, and only shoot to kill as a last resort and even then hold fire once they go down. you can criticize this as unfair or impractical but it still means outsiders who aren't indoctrinated (in the literal meaning of the term) in mag dump ROE along with the unofficial justifications (dead guys cant sue for damages etc) might have a different opinion just like with any other issue
>indoctrinated
I mean, feeling is mildly mutual? While I do absolutely think American policing is full of major problems, I can't look at that movie and imagine anyone thinking "yes this is how that should have gone I'm glad they didn't shoot the driver". Or at the very least if the idea is to always go for tires first they should be arming their officers with shotguns or something that'll do the job.
The big problems with overmilitarization of the police tend to be when they go out to private citizen's homes/businesses, shit like no knock warrants, massive overaggression in stops, etc. OP is one of the few cases where yes killing him is completely fine. There isn't any ambiguity there, and that's in a police station they didn't barge into somebody's house (often the wrong house) at 2am.
>so it wouldnt break
It was bullet resistant glass you fricking moron. Cop saw there was an opportunity and took it. It's not a magical force field that only works on incoming fire not outgoing.
does shooting bullet proof glass break it?
>lots of countries
Have fun trying to land a shot on their shooting hand like in the movies John Wayne.
>hold fire once they go down
Because if they were dangerous enough for you to shoot them (i.e. fear for your life or the lives of people around you) you should definitely give them another chance to kill you or those people you were trying to protect.
>they're doing it so they don't get sued
doesn't look like it's keeping them from getting sued in this case or like 99% of any police involved shootings
>webm
If cops see an opportunity to mag dump some moron like this one, they'll fricking take it.
Cops are morons and always under threat of legal action so you train them to always follow the standard operating procedure, no matter what. The guy could be missing a head and the training will still tell them them to behave like this.
Let them have their fun anon.
It's just a show because they know G*d needs a little more time to take this guy to heaven instead of immediately rendering this moron life saving first aid and costing tax payers millions in medical costs.
reeks like a false flag
the cop fricking opened the glass so it wouldnt break while having a gun pointed at him for 5 seconds
he said gun over 10 times before he even opened the glass
>the cop fricking opened the glass so it wouldnt break while having a gun pointed at him for 5 seconds
>he said gun over 10 times before he even opened the glass
do you often forget to put your brain in before posting?
bulletproof glass
alerting everyone in the precinct in earshot that someone has a gun
This might be wild to understand but things actually happen all the time, anon. Things happen. People do things. There's no mastermind controlling everything you see.
Smartest war tourist
>Should I alert everyone to a shooter before I risk being shot and put more at risk before I do?
You are a fricking moron anon.
I do not care who you are or why you did it, if you try to end my life and fail you are never, ever getting a second chance. The thought of an attempted murderer being allowed to draw breath offends me.
Its a good thing you aren't a cop then, they have a different job to do than the average person in a self defence situation.
Cops are people, it is why I don’t fault him whatsoever and hope he gets away with it. It’s what I would do, I’m glad he did it.
Pigs are cowards, obviously.
morons too, the guy is obviously on the floor and he gave him a full 18 rounds what if there was someone else?
Let people enjoy things you homosexual
>excuse to discharge weapon and save a range trip
>empties the mag
I would have done the same.
> alive simply because the attackers gun malfunctioned
> Shouting "gun gun gun gun gun" for 4-5 seconds while the attacker continues to try and get his weapon working
> Considerately slides open window instead of shooting through it
> Fires 17 rounds in 4.5s, average split time of .26s, unknown how many were on target
Shit response, but good split times, assuming 18 sight pictures and all hit in the upper thoracic
Glass was bullet resistant, so Ahmed's 9mm probably wasn't going through on the first shot and neither was his return fire.
Good on that PD then.
to be fair, i wouldnt expect someone to shoot up a police station either
>Anon's dumb ass would've tried to have a firefight through a pane of bullet-resistant glass.
You and the shooter really are kindred spirits, aren't you?
Another waste of carbon sent back to hell. Based.
>“He lit a little strip mall on fire thinking that he wanted to keep people warm in the winter time. No one was injured, thank God.”
he wuz a good boy
Of course it was a fricking Black person.
Fricking moron, read thread
>tripgay is a sperg nig
Lmao lol
Go wash your sheets
10/10
>shooter fails to get a single round off
>cop opens window like he’s working the drive through at Wendy’s
>full mag dump
>dearborn so you know it’s a mudslime
Taking all bets on what the gun was that jammed before firing a single shot.
Looks like he never racked it so very possible he never had a round chambered. So very on par for the average arab in terms of intelligence.
he stole it from a barber shop he used to work at right before the shooting so my money would be on that he just didn't know at all how to operate it. it's some big stainless hammer fired pistol.
I wonder if the safety on a Beretta 92 struck again.
>Thinking turdworlders buy Berettas
My money is on a Taurus PT92
that's not a beretta.
the top looks flat and square
Can't be a Glock. The photo in
doesn't have a visible barrel/ejection port running on the very top of the slide but rather the upper side of the slide.
Looks like a two tone Walther CCP.
i bet he didn't even bother to function check it whatsoever
Could be a 3rd gen S&W autoloader like the 5906
I own a 5906.
I don't see any kind of beavertail on whatever he has
Man, r/liberalgunowners has arrived in force.
I hink he stole the gun to off himself but it either jammed or whatever and then he decided to do suicide by cops 10/10 yify on the acting inside the station.
They might be the most pathetic way to die I've ever seen.
almost like an oblivion npc
black people are based af
Do you think all these yung kangs are doing this as a means to support their families? If you're a failed provider and demoralised into victimhood, then why not go out fighting the 'opporessors' and get your family paid for it? Even if the cops don't get sued the hordes of nog sympathisers on twatter will do a go fund me.
I'm sure some bleeding heart homosexual, or an anarchist that should gtfo the country to Russia or something will make a fuss about this.
It was kind of funny in that he probably thought he was looking cool one handing the gun but ended pretty sadly because he probably didn't know how to use it.
For a moment I just thought he was committing suicide by cop.
>1/10
It looked like target practice.
An important lesson in knowing how to clear jams before you need to know.
Black person died like a chump, I'd be laughing about that shit within minutes if I was the cop who popped him.
>An important lesson in knowing how to clear jams before you need to know.
There was no jam, he had nothing in the chamber
So he didn't have what it took to kill him.
No shit? I would have figured for all that fumbling it must have been a jam.
What a fricking loser lmao. It's times like this I really wish there was an International Hall of Shame for guys who suck this bad.
A gun can't really 'jam' on the first shot. Looks to me like
>why no bang
>oh safety yeah
>still no bang??
>shieeet is there even bullets in this thing
>oh yeah here's bullets in the magazines maybe I have to pull the sli-
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG
>says GUN 11 times
>shoots 17 times
Would be better if equal.
unbelievable that you gays would argue about whether or not to post a webm or a lazy link to twitter when the video is so awesome
audio is 10/10 on this one
isn't this the same station where some guy walked in open carry and was quickly surrounded by cops pointing guns at him while he kept saying open carry was legal and he dindu nuffin?
I don't really care either way; the guy in OP's video clearly signed his own death warrant.
yeah never pause or they'll count that as an opportunity to see the guy was no longer a threat and shooting him anyway
Can Somalians do anything right?
that's an arab
But no, they can't. Somalians aren't Black folk, they're the niggest. Millenia of inbreeding have robbed them of even the few genetic advantages Africans generally have, and dropped their IQs even lower. I do not know what their race has done to offend God, but i must have been heinous.
How many times did you shoot the suspect?
Yes
>nog didn't even get a single shot off
Lame.
How long until self-defense cases get regularly sued in civil because “he should have just turned over his wallet to the economically disadvantaged man in the mask”
They already are.
His hearing is done for
