tl;dw she goes with the Sig P365X

I've been looking at them but, as far as I know, none of them have a manual safety. There's a safety conversion kit for the P365 compact but I don't see one for the P365X

I would not buy a NuSig in 2023.

Over the past decade, Sig has gotten caught doing a variety of unsafe or downright scummy things with their new designs. I simply do not trust the company to put the consumer first and properly design/test their guns. I can’t buy from a company that I can’t 100% trust to put out safe products in every circumstance regardless of penny pinching.

            who do you like then?

I've been looking at a Walther CCP, but haven't had the opportunity to fire one yet.

Nta but CZ rules. I hate the ergos of the walther but most people love them. I enjoyed my S&W MP 2.0, their shield plus or whatever is supposed to be great. Glock is always fine. Of those brands you should figure out what size you’re looking for and then find a range store combo that rents handguns and try them on for size, it’s incredibly cheap to do so.

While that anon is right not to trust any new releases from Sig, the P365 is probably the best CC gun on the market right now. That gun was a huge step forward and deservedly popular, and as a result of that popularity we can safely say that any flaws would've been publicized by now.

Now, if the shit they've pulled with the P320 (not drop safe and dragging their feet in acknowledging that) and the safety recall of the Sig Cross rifle is enough for you not to want to support the company on moral grounds that's reasonable but the P365 is a good gun.

This woman is an affiliate marketer who I believe is also employed by Phlster. Do not take any of her opinions seriously.

Also the enigma sucks, I wore it daily for about a year. A $35 covert belt from mastermind tactics works better and is comfier.

I’m looking at these right now actually, my only concern is that they specifically mention it’s a flexible belt, how is it stiff enough to support the weight of a holster setup?

Also, is the belt retention only the rubber and friction? This looks like a good option to CC in the summer

It's more stiff vertically than horizontally, which is really what matters for AIWB. But between the belt tension and additional tension from your pants (and ideally you're using at least a draw string with your shorts or something) it will be secure. I've never used it with anything *really* heavy like a CZ75 or something, but with stuff up to G19 size with no light it's been fine.

The belt secures to *you* through tension and the elastic, which is what helps prevent it riding up. It can shift if you're getting up and sitting back down a lot because you are wider or thinner in various positions, but it's not a big issue in my experience.

You will probably really want an undershirt. It's much less comfortable and shifts more without, but is doable. That said, the same is true of the Enigma which also can dig into your skin with the thin straps and Tegris codpiece.

I would also use stretchy or less stiff belts with the pants worn with it.

She’s used a lot of different holsters, but yeah, that’s one of her sponsors now. They all have sponsors. It works for her, I can afford it. I’ve done just fine with my $60 Smart Carry.

how is this? Would it work for wearing short shorts in the summer with a snubnose?

i don't know about short shorts, but anything with an elastic waist it works great. I've used it primarily with a snub nose. Will have to get a bigger size for my next pistol.

What is so hard about just buying a Glock 19?

She put 1000s of rounds thru a Glock 48 for years before switching to the P365x though.

In all seriousness I think these subcompacts are fine for girls since they're going to have much smaller hands on average.
I don't get why men carry it unless they've already tried carrying something bigger and just couldn't make it work for whatever reason, but I know a lot of guys who get that as their first gun or at least their first carry gun and don't even bother with the a compact size. It's just weird to me.

Walther pdp f is far better than micro compact

I don't have small hands. 6'4" 215 and athletic. I've carried everything from a Shield .40 to an FNX .45 AIWB. The 365 is small, comfortable, has a manual safety, and has a good enough grip for the size. With a TLR 7 Sub and a minimalist holster you won't ever hesitate to carry it, and will usually never notice it

I liked it. I appreciate her being honest with the reasons why she made her purchases, and thought it was interesting to hear about the decisions she now regards as mistakes and why. Good video.
