Yeah man plugging up the vent holes on your handguard will really help dissipate heat. moron.
Comfy if you're stuck with a Quad rail rather than shooting n gripping a cheese grater.
But if you don't have any attachments and don't plan to mount any then its absolutely moronic. Just get a smooth handguard or compromise with Mlok.
Sometimes they can look nice but if you only rock covers for aesthetic then you're a silly Sneed.
I once wrapped my entire rail in paracord because it felt nice in the hand. I realized I didn't really need to attach much of anything but did appreciate the free float benefit.
What ought to be done is handguards to be designed like WW1 machine gun barrel covers that suck in air to cool the barrel down. Will be useless for magnified optics users after a mag dump due to mirage, only for non magnified chads.
More grippy, doesn't burn your hand, or your pants, or your shirt, or anything else, rail doesn't get scratched up if you're smacking it against barricades. I like the BCM polymer strips since they're lighter and cheaper than the machined stuff.
feels better on hands
Heat mitigation for when you don't have gloves; you'd know that if you weren't a noguns
>not using a vfg
shiggy.
VFG isn't the hip new thing for C-clamping memelords and their reddit garbagerods
but as gripchads you and I both know that a foregrip is superior in every way, including for muzzlestriking POWs in their throat
i wonder how long before vfgs are worshiped by redditors for being "meta" again.
>Useless on a 15" guard
u stoopid.
anyone selling a lr300 better fricking know what they got
>what they got
Nothing of value other than to Fudd Broker
vfgs never left. The AFGs were just a fad. The stubby vfg is king on all carbines.
>tfw no lr300
Why live?
>you will never run a lr300 as your main with a mp412 as your sidearm
>VFG
Useless on a 15" guard
>gloves
Bet you daffodils wear eye protection
>too poor for gloves
get a load of this guy
not just that
>can afford enough mlok rail covers to make a difference
>can't afford gloves
how
I dont see the point of covers, but in defense of railcover-anons, people generally don't wear gloves 24-7.

But the wood makes it good.
I love wood furniture and never thought it could look bad. Until now. That is the gayest shit I've ever seen.
To cover the rails
Comfier, looks better, collects skin gunk less quickly and is easier to clean than mlok
>collects skin gunk less quickly and is easier to clean than mlok
is this you?
Piccatiny rails are sharp
It makes it more tacticool and personalized
To cover the rail. It's in the name you fricking moron.
>turn gun into an unpleasant to hold lego by sticking rails on every surface
>buy more lego pieces to remedy the situation

Can you wrap a cloth around the shroud for the same result?
Does it need to be heat resistant if you're going to fire more than sixt rounds?
Color and shape
Insulation from the heat
Grip
