Question thread.

Okay, now this is the time to settle once for all the vital & most important questions about the Russian - Ukrainian war.

•How's that any relevant nation (Indonesia, China, India, Brazil, etc) outside NATO doesn't provides weapons & goods to Russia? This could ruin the months of attrition that Ukraine is trying to do.
•Why didn't Ukraine strike the Kerch strait, the crimean main water steam and/or large Russian cities (Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Smolensk, Rostow)?
•What is a victory considered from the Russian side? (E.g. They may have took the entire of Luhansk, but what about Donetsk? Knowing they are moving at snail path) Will they even stop there?
•How's that ukrainians doesn't desist from movilization even though they could leave to Poland or any other EU country?
•Do russians still suports Russia and the war even after the embargo & sanctions?

Russias current leader is inferior compared both to Hitler and Stalin in intelligence, as his opening move was a mistake both of previous easily avoided, namely, making enemy of everyone at once

No one likes Russia enough to risk even the smallest sanctions from over a hundred other countries.

    >•Why didn't Ukraine strike the Kerch strait, the crimean main water steam and/or large Russian cities (Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Smolensk, Rostow)?
Why strike the crimean water stream? It's still clogged up. The video you saw of Russians blowing up the blockage was propaganda. The whole fricking canal has been dry for years, it will take some work to get the water running all the way back to Crimea again. As for Russian cities, why would they strike them? Ukraine is a defender in this war, they only strike military targets within reach.

    >•What is a victory considered from the Russian side? (E.g. They may have took the entire of Luhansk, but what about Donetsk? Knowing they are moving at snail path) Will they even stop there?
Dunno what Putin hopes to achieve here, probably something at the negotiation table. Other than that, he will lose, because all Zelensky & NATO have to do is say no, we won't give u any land, and then just keep fighting. Russia can't hold those areas under constant bombardments.

    >•How's that ukrainians doesn't desist from movilization even though they could leave to Poland or any other EU country?
    In english please

    >•Do russians still suports Russia and the war even after the embargo & sanctions?
No one in Russia wants to fight for Russia. Other than that they are happy to eat up the propaganda and that's about it. The brain drain on Russia has been huge the past year, I'll let that speak for itself

How is that so much people in Ukraine fight for their country instead of leaving to a better country? (Germany, Spain, etc)

Family, friends, patriotism. Some certainly have left, a few million refugees. Most are coming back, and a lot want to fight.

Umm that happens in like every war? People want to defend their country, family home etc. Note that like several millon people left already. Also most people who fight in wars are poor. You know that song it aint me? Its the same in russia most of their army are poor rural people a lot of rich and educated people left or just bribe their way out. A lot of russian losses are from places like tuva, dagestan etc. And people there are not really happy about it.

Fear of damaged relations and sanctions from the west, and west supporting nations.
    >•Why didn't Ukraine strike the Kerch strait, the crimean main water steam and/or large Russian cities (Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Smolensk, Rostow)?
For Ukraine, this is a defensive war. Russians are the invaders here. At best, you'll see supply lines, and resource targets in Russia hit by Ukrainian weapons, but they're primarily focused of pushing occupiers out.
    >•What is a victory considered from the Russian side? (E.g. They may have took the entire of Luhansk, but what about Donetsk? Knowing they are moving at snail path) Will they even stop there?
Russia, in essence, has already failed their stated objectives, and faces economic consequences beyond that of any that can gain even if they capture and hold all of Ukraine tomorrow.
    >•How's that ukrainians doesn't desist from movilization even though they could leave to Poland or any other EU country?
Bowing to Russia just sends a signal to the kremlin that sovereignty means nothing if you don't have nukes. On the other hand defending your land from rapist, looting, and child killing Russians sends a message to the world that your national identity is valid.
    >•Do russians still suports Russia and the war even after the embargo & sanctions?
I'm not Russian, so I won't answer this question with how I feel, but the Russian government is putting people in jail for 10 years just for protesting the war. Make of that what you will.

Russian leadership is too proud to ask they see themselfes as a world superpower. Begging countries like fricking indonesia to send arms would be very embarrassing and like other anon said they dont want to risk wraith from the west
    >•What is a victory considered from the Russian side? (E.g. They may have took the entire of Luhansk, but what about Donetsk? Knowing they are moving at snail path) Will they even stop there?
They dont know themselves, even if the war stops now its a net loss for russia, they are already poor and rebuilding the areas they had taken will take decades. Same thing happend to my country after a war like this its hard to get back.
    >•Do russians still suports Russia and the war even after the embargo & sanctions
Some do some dont. Old people more young less. There is a youtube channel called 1420 where he asks people their opinion of the war.

Russia would interpret it as aggression and declare war.

That would make 0 difference. Russia doesn't have more troops in Ukraine because their supply lines already break apart with 200k. Sending in 400k with half rations is not effective.

    >why doesn't anyone provide gibs to Russia
any country inclined to do so is also extremely poor. everyone else either doesn't want russia to win, doesn't care whether they win or is too afraid of western retaliation to help in any meaningful way

    >What is a victory considered from the Russian side?
    - Ukraine recognizes full Russian ownership of the Crimea+landroute and "independence" of meme republics(who will "vote" to join into mother russia immediately afterwards). Said republics also include Kharkiv and Odessa btw.
    - Ukraine immediately removes any western made military equipment from remaining Ukrainian soil and is banned from buying or accepting new ones: Ukraine cannot build any factories to build any new equipment either.
    - Ukraine is banned from joining NATO or any other western military alliances. Ukraine must immediately apply into CSTO.
    - Ukraine cannot accept western aid for rebuilding the the country
    - Ukraine must pay 600 billion dollars as a war reparation
    - The West must immediately stop any sanctions and pay reparations for the money lost due the sanctions

Russia spends something like 20 billion on the war per day, 600 billion is actually not that significant, not that Ukraine could pay it in the first place.

Russia is spending under a $1 billion a day. WTF are you talking about with the $20B?

Russia's federal budget last year was under $800B.
The US' military budget is roughly $800B.
Are you seriously suggesting Russia's military now outspends the US military by 9 times?? Fricking kys.

What kind of moronic question is that? You know the answer.... political pressure, sanctions, etc.

    >What is a victory considered from the Russian side? (E.g. They may have took the entire of Luhansk, but what about Donetsk? Knowing they are moving at snail path) Will they even stop there?

Bare minimum: Keeping Crimea, and taking most of Donbas.

Ideal: Taking the entire southern and eastern parts of the country. Russia wants the oil and gas deposits, and it wants to monopolize the Black Sea.

Good enough: Fail to take Budjak (Southern Odesa) but manage to take the rest of the southern coast.

    >Do russians still suports Russia and the war even after the embargo & sanctions?

I'm sure opinions are mixed, but the majority of Slavic Russians are on board with it.

    >Why didn't Ukraine strike the Kerch strait, the crimean main water steam and/or large Russian cities (Moscow, Kaliningrad, Kursk, Smolensk, Rostow)?

Ukraine doesn't have missiles that go that far. And using aircraft would be pointless because of sufficient air defenses from Russia.
