Are there any German anons here who can tell me if those 3-week hunting license courses are any good? Regular sports shooters need to cuck for a year, so only 3 weeks to get a hunters license to be able to buy guns sounds absolutely amazing.
But it costs 3,000€ which is very expensive (without hotel fees, food etc.) and I also heard its brutally hard, like all the things you have to learn and the tests. As far as I know the failure rate is 30% which is insane. My concern is that I attempt it, somehow fail and at the end I got no weapon and my money is gone too.
Any anons here made the hunting course (kompakt)? If yes, how was your experience? Is there maybe even a hunting school you can recommend or are they all about the same?

Read up on the test you have to do. It is different (and sometimes easier) depending on the state. Also 3k€ seems pretty high I remember it being below 2k a couple years ago. Honestly if you fail the test you are subhuman anyway and deserve it. It's really not hard.

But that's good to know, I am extremely motivated so I think I can learn lots. Found a school in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern that looks cool, it kinda sucks that I have to live in a hotel or so of sorts but I just see it as a cool vacation to get my loicense.

It's complicated. The testing is done by the DJV, which is an NGO. The DJV receives a Prüfungsgebühr of 200€ for everyone that passes. Thus they have an incentive to make the exams easier. A lot of people even successfully sue against their failed exams (albeit that will make you look like a complete Sonntagsjäger). Not to mention that Jagdschulen try more and more to install examiners that favor them. All in all, it's probably easier than ever and I'd recommend you do it, but I would also recommend not stopping at the exam standards and educating yourself a bit beyond that if you're actually going to go hunting.

Did you emigrate there or are you Czech heritage? I heard gun laws in Czech are USA tier but I don't speak the langauge so moving there just for gunz soounds like a bad deal tbh
So far I just moved there to work, so I wouldn't call myself an immigrant yet.
However, I do consider going for Czech citizenship at some point if Germany remains faithful and fricks up itself and with it the world once more.
For now I find greater quality of life in Prague than back home in Germany; money is not everything after all/I make enough in IT. Still, I visit friends and family once a month.

Went to Jagdschule24 in Dassow, 3weeks for 2.400€,course, room with shared toilet/shower, halv-board, exercises and fees included.
They used copper ammunition which lets you then "cheat" with the crossing boar aka preaim.
Damn, that's way cheaper! The one I found was 3000€ only for the course, not even with hotel and nothing.
I figure you got your hunting license now? Would you reccomend this school (you called them by name so I guess so) but how was the experience, was it very hard, did you have to learn a lot, how many people failed etc.? Just a very short experience summary please.

Good prices, very competent staff, all lessons, shooting and exams are done in the same place (no need to drive to a separate range to practice; less costs), located in small town with ample accommodation in walking distance, Frankonia store right next door and something like a ~95% success rate.

Got my license in 2019 few days after the exam in Dassow. Experience was quite funny as i went there during the summertime and half the class were teens that failed miserably.
They didn't learn shit, partied way too much and paid the price i guess. 2 girls failed at shooting, noone failed at the written test (which was way too easy compared to nowadays) and out of ~30 around 10 fricked up the oral exam. Learn the goddamned diseases, they're really going into detail on them since you can kill people easily when fricking this up irl.
If your workplace has qualification programs ask whether it might be supported. I got half of the price and 5 days of Fortbildungsurlaub for it so only 10 days of holiday/overtime hours and 1200€ needed. All in all not too difficult but take it seriously. No need to waste time and money i guess.

Well he's not wrong, you only need a 4 in all courses to pass but he didn't even manage that. Besides, you should never, never aim at a 4 (50%), you should aim at 100% so even if you frick up you still pass.

The diseases were easy tbh. If you know how the organ looks healthy, you will know if something is wrong.
I needed maybe the top 10 diseases, the procedure for rabbies and trichinosis, and the rest was kinda like "Yellow dots in the heart of the rabbit? Throw the thing away."

would any of you know where I can find info on how to legally go to hunt/shoot with my own rifles in germany or at least just drive trough germany and go hunt in the Czech republic.

Can't you just buy a book? In Sweden we have those hunting license courses as well but I decided against since I couldn't get time off from my job and it was expensive. I just bought the sanctioned hunting books and read through then and did the hunting questions on their app and then did the test.
I'd like to add one potentially legal option.
it might be possible to sit the exam for a hunting license in an other country and use that to get guns.
Most hunters in Belgium sit their exam in France because it's easier (plus a lot cheaper) and it's perfectly fine for use in Belgium due to EU stuff.
obvious downside is that you'd need to know the language at least enough to sit the exam. Travel might also be an issue depending on where in germany you live.

Go to Nierdersachsen, i did mine there. Teuteburger Wald is pretty good, 2 weeks but you need to start learning like a month before(but its not that neccesarry because my dumb Bundeswehr buddy did it together with me and started to learn as we got there and somhow made it through...). Niedersachsen especially because there you get all the questions in advance and just need to learn them. I myself am from NRW and it depends where you are youll get random or unannounced questions in the theory test. If you listen and learn youll get through it, even if you mildly frick up JUST DONT FRICK UP WEAPON HANDLING!!!! Youll instantly get booted and can pay for another testrun (approx 500€) I for example accidentally "shot down" an eagle cause in the moment i got stressed and forgot they are a protected species... but still i passed xD
So id say if you have the motivation (and its definetly worth it) go for it, learn the questions and get the Dauergebiss und Milchgebiss vom Rehwild inside your brain forever, trust me id like to forget that the Prämolar P4 is dreiteilig im Milchgebiss and 2 teilig im Dauergebiss...

it was pretty intensive not gonna lie, but theree were only 2 people that didnt pass, a fat chick that fricked up the gun handling and a old lawyer who couldnt for the love of god hit a Tontaube. The instructors are super chill and pretty good. You really need to learn a lot tho...
Dont underestimate the questions, they can save your ass like they did mine.
I was a besatzungstruppen and knew a couple like 90 IQ infantry guys who passed the test. They all said it was a huge pain in the ass and very hard but passed. They got a special tax exception so didn't pay the 2000 eurobux btw. They even got to keep a hunting rifle and ammo.
None of that probably helps you but I feel special knowing a little bit about German gun regulations so I had to comment.
