glyphosate only works if it gets on the leaves and areas actively doing photosynthesis. if you pull off the leaves and then spray the root bulb it doesn't do anything. it's more work and less effective than simply spraying and walking away.
As of December 2022, Monsanto has reached settlement agreements in nearly 100,000 Roundup lawsuits. Monsanto paid approximately $11 billion. Bayer has accomplished this by negotiating block settlement arrangements with plaintiffs’ lawyers who have large numbers of cases in the litigation.
Although these settlements account for nearly 80% of all pending Roundup claims, there are still about 26,000-30,000 active Roundup lawsuits. Most lawsuits have been filed in state court. But over 4,000 claims in the MDL Roundup class action lawsuit are still pending in California.
The only people that got sick from roundup were people like landscapers and green keepers that used the stuff all the time with no PPE for years on end.
Carcinogens and toxic materials likelihood of giving you cancer is directly correlated with level of exposure, sure they used it frequently and therefore got cancer, but even if you use it sparingly there still exists the potential for it to cause you to get cancer. It's a roll of the dice every time, and it's entirely possible to just use it once and get very, very unlucky so it's best practice to try to avoid toxic shit like this altogether or ensure you're using proper PPE when you have to be exposed to it.
>T. Had a great uncle who got super hand cancer and died as he picked crops treated w/ roundup without gloves for decades
According to your unsourced chart if me getting cancer and fricking dying (severe) is a very unlikely likelihood I should still be moderately concerned you illiterate
Your body is always producing and fighting off cancerous cells. Not every type or stage of cancer is severe. That's why occasional exposure to something that MIGHT LEAD to cancer is bottom left.
Keep proving me right about how bad you are at assessing risk though. FYI the generic risk assessment model doesn't need a citation or source but feel free to research and learn for once.

>Systemic herbicide
Meaning what? It's a surface agent. Monsanto's own people found that the glysophate itself was harmless to people, but that the surfactants were going to bring the health issues.
What Monsanto ended up losing in court wasn't that glysophate is a carcinogen, but rather that they didn't disclose that the product as delivered could pose a health risk.
Now go tell me about how fluoridated water is turning the frogs gay.

It's not fluoride and he never said it was, but even fifteen years ago in high school bio we were reading about how fish were having their sex reassigned

This. It's an open problem in municipal water treatment. There is no cost effective way to remove hormones and psychiatric drugs from the water supply.

This is what they hit Tobacco with, and also what they are trying to hit Exxon and big oil with. It is that they concealed the information to boost profits. Sadly, our capitalism means that fining a company just means that the top 1% might lose some money. And of course these are the people funding the politicians who write the laws. There is very little incentive NOT to conceal this type of thing.

Monsanto's researchers that dug deep into the toxicity of Roundup were critical of claims saying that Roundup is non-toxic and safe. They found that glysophate itself was harmless to people, but that as formulated with the surfactants it could potentially pose a risk.

I just use a steam gun, about 250°F water at the base.
Have to wear glasses, gloves, and a coat though.
I use hydrofluoric acid condenser cleaner. Burns them off in a jiffy, just don't get it on your skin.
Anon I don't think you quite understand how hard it is not to eat glyphosate?

americans have the most contaminated foods with this stuff, Mexico is apparently actually a lot better.so people aware of the problems import from there when heir usual routes aren't available
Fwiw, I’m a boomer who doesn’t get the joke, but I had some super bad weeds when I got this house, the shit that had been mowed dozens of times to the top was small but real beefy roots. I realized that the roots get much weaker after a shot of roundup, so I have been yanking the roots as soon as I see the weed trying to sprout after the roundup.
Now I’m like Hank Hill but people walking their dogs tell me I have the nicest lawn in the neighborhood. I also had like a $200+ water bill the first couple months I was trying to get the yard in order.

So yes, decades of constant exposure without any protection can cause cancer.
From what I've read on Roundup, it's not even the glysophate that is causing the cancer, but rather the surfactants that are doing it.
Take meds and use this chart. Your anxiety and paranoia are not normal.

Spray half a weed with roundup
Turns into a full weed
Because it was "rounded up"
This is classic dad joke stuff
Frick round-up
Use calcium chloride
Tough weeds respond better to Triclopyr, If you don't want to spray, you can cut the stem and spot apply it on the stump.
I just use tenacity on everything. Yeah its a bit more expensive, but I use a mix-on-exit sprayer and just dial down the concentration.
