I love every fish on the planet. But for some reason I can't stand this canned shit. Am I just retarded and eating them wrong? I've only tried them room temperature out of the can. I specifically want to enjoy sardines. I want to be prepared with protein other than jerky, and powdered eggs.
You just eat them
Canned food is never as good as non-canned.
tuna fish in a can with a bit of salt and tabasco sauce is stomachable. if SHTF tomorrow I’d survive off of it alone if necessary
Oh man that’s my favorite snack. Right on
tuna taste like cardboard, have very low fat and if you eat a lot you can be at risk of getting mercury poisoning
Enjoy your mercury poisoning.
>love every fish
No you absolutely fucking don’t
I absolutely DO
Mix deenz with fresh garlic, add some salt, pepper and hot sauce. Only buy good brands like king oscar boneless skinless in olive oil.
Add a lot of fresh onion; thank god it’s easy to grow in the wild.
I prefer bones and skins on. Boneless and skinless taste kinda dry to me.
>boneless kinless
So, without any of the good stuff?
LMAO
>OP posts pic of Matiz and Nuri
>this bro responds "only buy good stuff like king oscar boneless"
Is this bait?
Nuri is so much better than King Oscar, but King Oscar is good. Nuri is god-tier, but also like $6.00 a can. Both have their place, but Nuri is qualitatively and obviously better.
Sardines are better heated up in a skillet with some onions. Lots of people don’t like them though.
My prepper friends recommend against things like sardines and say to get smoked herring filets like MW Polar
what about just normal canned tuna or salmon
salmon is okay, you don't want to eat tuna very often because of mercury.
Canned salmon and canned chicken
canned chicken? cant say I’ve noticed. worth trying?
The Kirkland chicken breast is good. They also have tuna that os tested for mercury content for what it's worth.
I’ll grab some next time I stop by costgoy to try
Your fren is right.

leaving this amino list for mental health and energy/endurance as well because I want to get it out there as all of these are cheap aminos with strong effects, spent a long time studying these compounds, high dose aminos can replace most pharmaceuticals.
Use DMG for endurance, they give it to race horses, you can take that or Alcar and be able to walk 10 miles if you needed to with a pack on far more easily.
I take about 200-300mg of DMG and I can go do hard labor without a problem even when I'm lazy and feeling bad.
DMG also is about the best thing there is to help with social issues, talking to strangers, talking to women, public speaking.
Mixes well with CBD oil, which I would recommend Lazarus full spectrum high potency oil under the tongue, they give good discounts for the disabled/vets as well.
Haven't been to the doctor in 6 years now and I used to be there every few months with my disabilities.
Is there one that helps with concentration problems? Not being able to listen to someone because I keep daydreaming after a certain word triggers my brain into imagining a scenario?
Very likely I got adhd or something
Can you recommend NAC to get?
Polar smoked salmon is pretty good. I also like canned chunk salmon on triscuits with capers.
Canola oil is actual GMO-mutant-poison. Eating this will probably outright immediately turn you into a transformer
Learn how to fish, hunt, and forage your specific region. Also practice farming but don’t get too committed to one piece if land. There are hardly any instances where you will have a solid bug-in location so you should be prepared to leave with a minimal pack of supplies for defense and a short term camp. The knowledge and skills you accumulate are the best preparation you can have and you must be able to adapt. You simply cannot do that if you are dependent on a horde of food, don’t set yourself up to fail.
>oy vey you should stockpile overpriced toxic waste, fellow goyim!
Sounds good, totally not gnomish OP! How many gallons of goybean oil should I stockpile to go with it?
Whole fish packed in virgin olive oil is the opposite of toxic waste you retard
No, it is toxic waste. What kind of retard eats trash fish that are basically goybean oil?
Try these ones if you can get them. Excellent.
Those are great there are also ones in hot sauce. Great for keto snacks
Salmon: 80% vitamin D per serving.
Fish is good.
Go the fuck outside you dumb shit: 5000% vitamin D per serving
Sun is good.
Make a sandwich with deenz, butter and some salt and vinegar chips.
mackerel in tomato sauce is god tier
Sardines are sold as fishing bait where I come from.
I are them in Spain on toast though and they were realrphn4jly tasty
You’re a dumbass who doesn’t know your body makes protein from amino acids and thinks you can only get it from eating burnt up cooked animal protein your body can’t even use
retard.alert
Just had an image of my gf"s vagina when looking at all this fish. Maybe she should go see a doctor.
put the deenz in a pan, add some frozen veggies, add cooked pasta, add tomato sauce
congrats you are now making meals with deenz
Canned food taste depends on the quality of the oil as much as the food itself.
Cold from the fridge. Eat them with hotsauce like Shriachta, lemon juice, fresh cracked pepper and olive oil
Hoarding, also known as prepping is a waste of time because as long as people are around, you'll never run out of food.
fish are loaded with PUFA
also the oil they're packed in is probably cheap shit that is even worse for you
The very thought of eating them makes me want to vomit. No joke, this shit is disgusting.
You need to be 18 to post here
Make fish cakes, bread crumbs mayo and deans is a simple recipe. Fish cakes rule
Yeah I am not a big fan of deenz either. I love canned mackerel tho, and it’s same price where I live, so I stock up on those
You just need to be very hungry. Then they will be great. Save them until the and of the world and you have no food and your problem of enjoying them will be solved.
Spam is cheaper and has more protein. More calories too. I like deenz but the cost is hard to stomach at times for quality fish. The stuff in søybean oil is cheap but it digests very badly for me.
I also love seafood and any fish including smoked, but can’t stand fish canned in oil.
Can you get canned fish in tomato sauce in the US? It’s dirt cheap here and pretty good on bread and cold rice or pure. Only reason I don’t eat it regularly is that fresh fish is healthier and the sauce is still quite oily
Picrel, attempt to break into american market it seems. It’s a popular breakfast food here but can also be stored long time
>but can also be stored long time
Literally the main good thing about canned fish
I’ve got a can with fish paté here that only lasts for one year, while the tomato fish has years of shelf life. Not enough of a prepper to know the canning differences.
sprats > *
if you do not prepare it properly the fish releases trimethylamine which gives it a fishy odor, also the fish can be a bit dry
1: do not microwave it
2: season with salt, freshly chopped garlic, mustard, vinegar and/or lemon
3: mix with oil or serve with sauce or in a soup, a stew or something like beans
tinned sardines are the best way to eat sardines, filleting sardines is very difficult and the spindly bones will undoubtedly get through andstick in your throat but the canning process softens them
Thick slice of tomato, Avocado mash, homemade mayo, Sardine in olive oil, a splash of teriyaki sauce
That looks outrageously good. Thanks anon. Will try. Maybe a leaf of fresh basil.
Would also recomend rocket(arugula)
Our canned Mackerel or even most canned fish are always in tomato sauce.
>mackerel in olive oil
wtf
I like to pour vinegar over tuna and deenz, it's like a salad.
Also Nuri pretty pricey here so I am surprised you are considering that as a prep.
Mackerel completely, unequivocally, eternally btfo Soidenes
Smoked mackerel is sooooo good
the only one I can bother with are anchovies. hunger will change a mother fucker though, so it wouldnt hurt to stock em.
Canned mackerel
Brands are vastly different. Try boneless and skinless in olive oil. Not skeletons in sneed oil.
get the bagged kind too, restock and eat older bags as they go bad after a few months.
They last less time but my GOD tuna preserved in oil is good.
Superior in taste but less lasting.
Thread theme
I like deenz with wasabi or a classic vinegar-based hot sauce.
>unironically buying [BRAND] and admitting to it on four chan
The spines are the best bit. Fite me.
But canned fish are not very good.
There are 'sour' herring on jars that are actually tasty.
But fresh (boiled or fried) are a billion times better than any canned fish. Cannot even be compared.
Really good with eggs
i wish i could get some of that to try here in burgerland
looks very tasty
There are many different ones. Sursild and Kryddersild are the main traditional ones. Tastes good (nothing like the "horrors" of canned fish).
I use them on top of slices of boiled eggs. Quite tasty. And proteins from both the eggs and the herring .... you're good to go
They are actually so good that you can eat them straight out of the jar with a fork.
Other options are
>shrimps in jars - we have many different ones - great proteins and some of them have GREAT taste with mayo.
>canned craps - works and has an ok taste
>canned liver (caviar)
There are many more stuff. But the best fish products in groceries stores are the fish cakes etc. in the cooling disk. Lots of options.
liver (caviar)
Canned liver are 'leverpostei' not caviar sry.
Leverpostei is extremely popular here.
For caviar see pic. Also, long shelf life. Also, tasty.
For me its fresh perch from yesterdays catch
sardines have a mild neurotoxin in their intestines if they live around algae. It is just a sardine thing.
Portuguese people are the king of canned fish. If you live in the north east and have an ethnic section in your grocery store, look for these.
What I do is marinate the can in Portuguese hot sauce and usually eat with some pickles and bean sprouts.
Portuguese canned fish is not less disgusting than other canned store-bought oily fish. I’d say even more because they have higher tolerance for fish bones and such
>fish. I’d say even more because they have higher tolerance for fish bones and such
There are never bones in our canned mackerel. That would make national news.
1) mix into salad with lemon juice, EVOO, capers and mixed greens
2) on top of white rice with vinegar, salt, and furikake
A lot of people like herring, it's meh I'm not a fan. Mackerel is a lot better, especially marinated in olive oil. Be careful because a lot of stuff is caught in China.
Look for this brand at whole foods if you can't get the cheap portuguese option I mentioned. It's expensive but worth it. The last thing you want for food coming out of a tin can is for it to taste like shit.
>I specifically want to enjoy sardines
I do this:
put butter in bowl, remove spines from sardines, mash it together, add chopped onion and lemon and then put it on bread.
All cans are lined with plastic. Over time this leeches xenoestrogens into the product. Avoid cans unless in shtf.
Get smoked salmon it's pretty good
Sardines are for smelly fags. Mussels, octopus and canned chicken breast are optimal as they are relatively high in trace minerals, protein and low in PUFA.
Avoid PUFA in general. Avoid PUFA in protein. PUFA prevents uptake of Protein anyway among other problems.
>I have to slavishly love the flavour of what I eat to survive
dumb american gay
Yeehaw
Hey Norwayanons, quick question. I was talking to a couple of my cousins a while back and I asked them if I should learn Norwegian to connect more with my roots. They both were super dismissive and said that most people there just spoke English. Just curious if that's really the case or not.
Another mutt viking larper muh heritage cringe. Stop being a gay, and learn Norweigan if you want, but dont expect anyone to jerk you off when you go there and tell them youre 90% Norweigan, 10% Bavarian
I'm just gonna eat people, specifically Mexicans. I love Mexican food and thank liberals for importing so much of it. I will make mountains of Mexican meat.
