Don’t pour boiling water into your sink, followed by icewater, and avoid the problem altogether.
    Also, learn how to clean.

I’ve never done those things so must have been a previous tenant

        >I pay like 200USD rent for this place
This exact same thing happened to a friend of mine, they left it, a short while later moved, then ended up getting a court claim by the landlord, when it collapsed and injured a child whilst he was showing a family around the property.
It ended up costing my friend $100,000, he lost his home, job, is now homeless, and the kid lost the use of their legs.
Speak to your landlord asap, do whatever you can to remove this legitimate threat from your life.

Going to call bull shit on this story. Landlord is ultimately responsible in all cases.

I don’t have an answer for you but a story
          >be me
          >be 44 and owned home for 13 years
          >have to sell for reasons
          >not good time to buy for reasons
          >herewegoagainrenting.jpeg
          >constantly having to call maintenance after moving in
          >toilet needing to worked on several times cuz leaking
          >toilet finally fixed
          >go to clean toilet one day and notice odd discoloration almost unnoticeable
          >take scrub pad to it and feel a raised edge in toilet
          >start to study toilet and realize it’s broken and has been glued back together
          >been shitting in toilet for a few weeks now
          >guts feel odd as I envision sitting in toilet as the porcelain finally gives way and chard goes up my butthole into intestines
          >toilet replaced

But then it's the landlord's problem. And they can't come after you if it collapses on the next tenant.

Gonna guess your LL wont pay for it, OP. Don't bother fixing it, just report it to him once a week until it burns into his memory. Then once it breaks, play him the recorded phone call of you telling him.
