Any critiques or improvements? Need to eventually get a higher end radio (running UV5R rn), but not sure if I need anything else? Have I reached my peak carrier?
Anyone have some "finished" ones they are proud of?

>no water source
oof.
btw if you can get the wider flatter rip-away ifak it's worth it. also idk why you'd put the ifak on your right side unless you're a lefty. other than that it's solid.
what this guy said
get a source or a camelbak or some shit
don't cheap out but don't splurge either
switch sides of ifak
you don't really need an admin pouch unless you're leading other people or doing complex signaling. if the placard is velcro you could realistically just go ahead and get a sandwich bag from AXL.
OP here, don't worry I have a camelbak already and I keep it attached to the side of my ruck. I have experimented with the camelbak on my back and it just causes my ruck to sit uneven.
As for the IFAK good note, I'll swap the sides and look around for some rip away ones.
No license but I've heard from the "tactical" radio community to just ignore the fudds and buy and use radios without fear of the FCC. Any recommendations for mid-level radios would be very helpful though
Yeah I bought a IFAK fill kit with spare TQs from Rhino Rescue. Should probably by cats and use the Rhino's as trainers though.
>fake CAT
This is the big one.
Also like the other anon said, if you're right handed then your ifak and TQ should be on the other side. If you're wrong handed then carry on
>if you're right handed then your ifak and TQ should be on the other side.
NTA but why?
Ideally you want it reachable from either hand but in general you want your support hand dealing with that stuff whenever possible
>in general you want your support hand dealing with that stuff whenever possible
Wouldn't you want to be able to access and apply something like a tq as quickly as possible (which means doing it with you strong hand)? I can't imagine any scenario where I'm returning fire with one hand and juggling medical supplies in the other.
You think this because you've never tried to deploy a tq with your control hand, a disabled limb, AND a live rifle.
Support hand is faster, which is why everyone ITT is telling you TQ and IFAK on the left.
How many times have you done this?
I train medical pretty frequently, anon. You should get some certifications then train medical too.
In terms of, IRL how many times have I had to deploy a TQ for a GSW? Twice.
> The two times there was no vascular damage
Try slinging your rifle and standing around. Just stand around. Maybe walk in a circle. You'll notice how the IFAK gets in the way there.
>cheap gear is in perfectly clean, mint, unused condition
gee i dont know
Just like your virgin wiener
>radio
You got your HAM license?
Radio is no good if you don’t have practice using it.
Is that a soijak
IFAK should be centralized, so you can easily reach it with either arm if injured. This is why it's popular to make a dangler an IFAK or put it on a belt. Just my opinion though. I don't agree that it should be on the support arm or not as either arm can be wounded. I like the Ferro IFAK, cause you can get at with both arms and while on your belly or back.
My only "critique" is that it's standard to keep the IFAK on the left side. Just a higher chance that anyone working on you will be able to find it right away if you're not responsive. Other than that, it seems pretty functional.
Do you have snacks in your gp pouch?
My IFAK already holds my snickers
What PC is this? And what plates are you running?
>radio
>otherwise known as a come kill me beacon
>no water
>muttcam
>no dump pouch
>exposed TQ
Have you ever actually worn it outside or is it just for taking pics?
